Visited after seeing this on Tripadvisor and so glad we did. Lovely building, great service and great food. Had the breakfast. Well cooked, plate warm, good quality of ingredients and toast was two large slices with four butter pats. Def come again.

Excellent service with each and every member of staff. Treated us like regulars and locals. Food was excellent, served exactly as we liked it and very good value for both Dinner and Breakfast menus having stayed at the premierinn next door. They couldn't have been any more welcoming or accommodating for us as a bunch of 8 people with 3 fussy kids. Thank you as always for an awesome time - we will definitely be back. Food and drink isn't expensive here and the service is great. The team.work hard to make.sure you get what you need! Great little venue on the gateway into Blackpool. See you all soon!!

I cannot agree with the reviewer who complained about the young staff, myself, my husband & mother in law visited here on bank holiday weekend & had a very positive experience, the menu was good, something for everyone including a few choices for me as a vegetarian. The staff were young & yes they were chatting to each other but we didn’t find it impacted the level of service at all. They took our order, the food arrived and our table was cleared all in a timely manner & the staff were friendly & smiley throughout!

The food was very bland and over-priced, some of the staff were good, however they treated some of their staff pretty badly.

Nice friendly village pub. We have been many times before and taken our two dogs who were made welcome with dog treats and bowls of water. We had lunch of scampi chips & peas followed by apple pie and ice cream with coke and J2O. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly as was the guy who brought our food. Unfortunately I didn't get their names. Overall our experience today was as we would expect. The pub was quiet and cool on a hot day. Food was good fresh and tasty with the portions just right so we were not overfaced at lunchtime.

Staff were friendly and professional. Food on the whole was average for a pub apart from the Buddha bowl which was very dry, chicken was overcooked and dry and the tempura broccoli was raw and unpleasantly Luke warm. An expensive evening for a disappointing experience

Not a lot of people in the pub for a Sunday, food was good but roast potatoes and the Yorkshire pudding had been over cooked. Everything else was lovely and lots of gravy. Didn't bother with dessert as only 4 to choose from and I didn't fancy any of them. I like my sundaes.

We decided randomly to try the Birley Arms for Sunday Lunch and so glad we did. Our Sunday roast was delicious with plenty of gravy accompanied by two glasses of red wine. The service was brilliant and staff very friendly. Would definitely go again.

Ordered millionaires shortbread for myself, and it had white stains on it that smelt like bleach, I ate it anyway because I think it was white chocolate. Got hone and threw up on the new Lino. Girl that served me had strange smell too. Never agane.../ Thanks and Kind Regards, Felix Lengyel

We visited Palm without a reservation without realising they were about to close. Despite this we were greeted by the extremely attentive and friendly owners who were only too delighted to serve us. We had a terrific meal and it was obvious that the pride the owners have in their establishment is evidenced in the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff employed and they clearly have a very talented Chef. We spent some chatting to the owners before we left and we were left feeling they wanted to create something special in Lytham. We would definitely visit again, just a pity we live in Cheshire. Palm deserves to go from strength to strength.
