My wife only wanted beans on toast but at 4.50, I think that’s a rip-off if the full Monty brekkie has a massive variety of things for only £9. Worst thing was in this peaceful spot, the insistence of playing Capital Radio full blast through the TV. Are your customers fourteen years old? The cafe does not exist for the convenience of the bits of kids serving on. It is for the customers. This is supposed to be a haven of peace not a disco,

Called for a take out brunch before travelling back to the northeast. Same excellent quality, same friendly staff. 1 Bacon barmcake and 1 club sandwich later we were well fed and very happy we had called. Due to covid they have set up a table at the doorway with copy menus taped to it, and a bell to ring for service if no one in the shop. There were a couple of chairs outside to rest on while you waited or the friendly lass serving said we could go back to our car and she would give us a shout when ready.

Wow, I'm not one for posting reviews but what a gem of a cosy restaurant, the food was absolutely amazing, all homemade I had pie of the day the pastry just melted in the mouth, fresh veg perfectly cooked. My husband had burger with pulled pork, homemade chips which he said was outstanding. Definitely going again.

We visited the Dizzy Duck at the weekend during a visit to Ribby Hall. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the sausages were one the best we have tasted, so much so that we took some home with us. The service was fantastic and they went out of their way to accommodate the grandchildren by making pancakes for one of them. We would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again we will definitely return.

Food is excellent , however will you please update your opening hours info on Google. It stated you were open until 7.30 on Saturdays, however I got there at 7.10 this evening and you were closed. Very frustrating as it's quite a diversion when driving down the m6

Made a reservation and wven had it confirmed by email the day before, however on arrival to the restaurant the day after the email confirmation/reminder it was shut, with no contact made to myself, imo do not bother visiting as they even though they claim the guest is god, it clearly isnt by this behaviour. Very disappointed and a complete waste of time.

The food here is always top notch. We love the spa and lunch, and prefer it to the afternoon tea as the food option. This is because the lunch is always such a delightfully delicious treat. Today I had battered broccoli with whipped tofu which sounded interesting. It was such a taste sensation and I hope the photo does it justice. My main was a crusted piece of salmon with pasta which was also lovely.

Lovely place with super friendly staff. Generally mature clientele, immaculately clean and tidy. We last came on Valentine’s Day and the bar area had a singalong and got shown some dance moves from an energetic 70 plus lady that was as glamorous as you like. Great atmosphere!

Visited yesterday with my mum, they had a Tapas option Special. £15 for 3 dishes. ( u can select from about 10 choices) Normally in restaurant tapas are very small, I can honestly say we ordered 3 each and it was too much, we even took left overs home. The food quality was amazing and the taste was the best I had outside of Spain. Highly recommend. You can have just on course at the cost of £6. I had chicken and chorizo skewers, pastas brava and honey glazed chipalotos . Mum had garlic mushroom, the chicken and chorizo skewers and a Seabass Ragu. Large size portions and very tasty. Worth a visit for sure.
