Food was left on my doorstep and driver was no where in sight , i paid for large chips however the size of the tray was large but not a large portion of chips in it

took an hour for my food to arrive and it arrived cold and had water condensation in the boxes from it being left out...

Has for me to be the best chippy, food is always hot, fresh and plentiful

What a great find when we visited St Anne’s for a weekend. We knew we had a busy couple of days but wanted to get a chippy tea and we weren’t disappointed. We called in to ask what time the restaurant part closed as we were going to get there later than expected. When we arrived they’d remembered we’d been in earlier, a nice touch. My husband had fish & chips. I had the cheese & onion pie with chips, gravy, mushy peas, bread & butter and a drink which was a special. Wow! Everything was delicious and I’m now a convert to chips & gravy!😂 This is a great place to go to eat or get a takeout. The staff are friendly and helpful and although it was near closing time we weren’t rushed. Thank you!

What a great traditional chippy, we had the standard fish & chips and it was wonderful. Cup of tea and bread & butters! The fish was cooked to perfection and the chips were fantastic

Service was friendly and quick in the cost in restaurant. Mini fish and chip meal was a very generous portion and regular even bigger, priced at £12 and £14 respectively for fish, chips, peas, bread and butter and tea/coffee. Food was ok, chips could have done with a bit more cooking but it’s personal preference.

We were recommended The Seafarer's by a friend who knew we had a day out planned. The staff quickly served our meals. The fish really is top quality. Two of us had that for our meal served with plenty of delicious chips and tasty pes as well. one friend had prawn salad and there were plenty of prawns. The three of us were really pleased with our meals. The staff are very friendly ,helpful and their team work well together/ Next visit whenever that is will include a meal at the Seafarer's. Before I write this, I have to say that we have eaten here on several occasions and have never had a problem. I took my daughter and her friend as a treat after a day on the beach. The thing that struck me on arrival was the price! Just short of £12 for takeaway fish and chips 🙈 even with a cost of living crisis this seemed excessive but … from previous experience I knew the food was good and it was a treat! I get it was a very warm day and conditions in there would not be pleasant but this was no excuse for the sheer rudeness of staff. I paid in cash and held my hand out for my change which was slammed onto the counter without a thank you. An older gentleman had ordered 2 fish and chips and when he was asked if he was sitting outside was told “ well go on then!” At this point there was only me waiting for my food. The lady put his tray on the counter and went to the door to beckon him inside to get his food!! He very politely said he wasn’t sure if she would have brought it out to which she abruptly replied “ no we don’t, it’s a takeaway!” I helped the gentleman with his food. It would have taken her 20 seconds maximum. Not a single please or thank you and absolutely no sign of a smile. The food wasn’t great today either. A small sausage ( I mean small!) with chips and gravy at £7.95 and the sausage was hard - not to mention the hair my daughters friend found in her chips! I should have complained but quite honestly could not be bothered with the miserable faces. Won’t be back in a hurry. Manners cost nothing, neither does a smile and if you’re that miserable in your job - leave as life is too short to be that miserable at work.

Worst takeaway I've ever had.Everything looks like it's been cooked before.

Asked for a 5pm delivery, it came at 4. Asked for haggis instead of spam, got spam instead of haggis! Usually I would recommend Seafarers, but not this time.

Oh dear. This was dire. Luke warm soggy rubbery fish and awful chips, Luke warm cans. No cheese. Seafarers used to be a great takeaway. Very disappointed.

Normally I cannot fault the food from here, sadly today was not one of those days, my order arrived oven an hour late and apart from the pie, the rest was luke warm at the best

Whatever I order from here it is delivered quickly, always freshly prepared and tasty.

We are regulars to this restaurant and usually love the food and service. We decided to get a delivery to our beach hut this time, but wouldn’t ever order again. The courier refused to come to the hut despite us being told they would, so I had to walk a way to get it. The courier was a young woman in a car with a male and a child. The order was missing several items and quality was poor, which the restaurant is responsible for. We were told to complain to just eat. Poor all around to be honest.

Everything about my meal was lovely, hot, fresh and nicely cooked.

The fish and chip deal should have had mushy pease, but it was missing when delivered. Otherwise, very good.

The chicken breast was delicious, big and really well cooked and was complimented by a nice portion of freshly cooked chips, food from here never fails to live up to your expectations

Always hot and fresh from here, never had anything that wasn't nice from here and doubt I will, only thing that let it down was the delivery driver, buzzed to say he was here, by the time I'd gone downstairs he was already back in his car and had just left the food in the front entrance area, could have waited and handed my food to me....

We all loved the fish here and the curry sauce too, but thr chips could have been better. We left most of our chips... too brown and crispy.

My parents kath and Brian visit regularly, I came today with them for lunch and it was as lovely as always. Sue and Mandy were working today and were as welcoming as ever. I just want to say how amazing Mandy was with other customers working in the nhs looking after people I always observe things like this a kind gesture taking the extra time to help people who may need a little bit of extra help and support she really is fab and goes a long long way you go the extra mile to make everyone feel so welcome so thank you ❤️

I have been here so many times over the years. The price they charge for fish , chips and mushy peas, considering the size is disgusting. I won’t be back again. There are better , cleaner and less expensive fish and chip shops in St Anne’s and Lytham. Don’t waste your money. I have never seen a potion size so small.

Three of us went for lunch. When we sat down outside we got menus and didn’t notice the bird poo on one of them that went all over my arm. Complained to the nice waitress serving us and she apologised and brought a wet cloth to clean my arm. Also went to the toilet to wash my arm and found the toilet windows covered in cobwebs…. We ordered chips with curry sauce x2 and a burger and chips. The food was nice and hot. Halfway through the burger we popped into the takeaway counter to ask for another curry sauce as there was no one waiting to be served but our waitress was rushed off her feet with multiple tables to serve while 3 staff stood with nothing to do in the takeaway. I was grunted at by an older woman with grey hair like I’d dared to disturb her. I asked for another curry sauce and she said “Speak to your waitress. That’s her job” I was gobsmacked at how rude she was but did as she said and asked the waitress who said she’d get it for us for free as an apology for the bird poo and the rudeness of the grumpy old woman. For the rest of the time we were eating she stared intensely at us outside from behind the counter seemingly trying to intimidate us for asking her for something… Reading other reviews, this old woman is clearly rude to all her customers and must be causing a loss of trade for this business. God knows why she’s still employed, either she hasn’t been told to correct her behaviour or she doesn’t care. If you visit for food (which incidentally was actually quite nice!) and you see she is working - run a mile.

Very good fish and chips they had different sizes I had the smallest one which is perfect for my appetite. It was nice and cool inside and the air conditioner was very efficient. The waitresses were very efficient and friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. I was only sorry I didn’t have room for pudding

We expected the excellent service we always received…. Firstly Was greeted by a friendly server, happy, even under pressure…..then our luck changed and we got served by an older woman with a shockingly bad attitude. 😠 Should’ve known then…it was going to go downhill (you can always tell) So we Ordered Fish and Chips x4 and-Large peas and 4 cans of grease coated coke!! The takeaway was busy inside so we knew the lunch would be piping hot, brilliant,we thought p, they had lunchtime specials and regular, we opted for the regular as we we quite hungry and at £40.00 and some odds, we thought it’s a treat why not…. Well….. We expected fat more then what we had paid for. As we saw people’s portions, being taken by customers who could eat outside they received larger fish and chips, generous portions, we had high hopes indeed, they ordered exactly the same as us!! If you do eat outside beware of the starlings!!! We ordered to takeaway and ate lunch on the beach….. Once unwrapped we discovered….The smallest Fish and the tiniest portions of chips, most black chips, mainly hard bits, which had to be thrown away. One of the fish was well I don’t know what it was…but it was left for the bin diving gulls. I have never seen, such measly portions, each fish was smaller and getting narrower and narrower than the next, they were swimming in grease in th tray which you think is large however when you shuffle things around, look past the pokiest fish and chip tray, I’m not sure if this was an error by Mrs Grump as it should just be just for chips. The only plus we enjoyed the peas. Not happy, not happy at all. I’ve been a customer of Seafarers for over 20 years and as they say vote with your feet. Very sad what was once a great chippy is just cutting every corner, increasing prices and giving smaller portions.

We had the pleasure in dining here with family friends on Friday night (Friday night chippy!). The staff were very accommodating and helpful as we needed to get a table of 7. The menu is extensive. All freshly cooked. The fish and chip special, with a side, bread and butter and a drink, was good value for money. Really enjoyable meal. Thank you

Sadly we random choose this restaurant yesterday. Firstly they say judge a restaurant by its loo. I should have left then ! Loo. , no soap, no working hand dryer or towels. Needed a good deep clean along with the rest of the restaurant. Food. Chicken returned as not cooked thoroughly. Truly awful

Visited seafarers today with grandkids for chips and a drink, once ordered I was asked if we was eating out which I replied yes and then asked for the chips to be served in paper please, then the older grey hair woman informed me they will be served in polystyrene of which I informed her I dont want the food in polystyrene, well her face said it all and the service took a downward turn, when the chips came the staff couldn't even wrap them in paper or just couldn't be bothered to, it was pathetic to watch to be honest, they nevered asked if I wanted salt and vinegar on the chips, very poor and rude service given especially from the older grey haired lady, I would have asked for my money back if the grandkids weren't with me, I'm not one for leaving reviews but felt I had to after this experience, I won't be returning again and won't be recommending to anyone either.

Revisited this place three years on and what a difference those three years have made. Chip’s absolutely superb on this occasion. Although I still believe some items are a bit pricey, I suppose it’s to be expected for a Seaside Town. I would recommend this chippy now, something we didn’t do three years ago.

I've lost count of the amount of times we've used this chippy & restaurant, its out go to place when at St Anne's. Always lovely & fresh, big portions & great prices.

I love this place. We visit Blackpool a couple of times a year to meet up with family and always end up here. Lovely food, great menu that's actually quite incentive and has loads of options, and friendly staff.

An excellent lunch with our Granddaughter this afternoon. Fantastic food with very caring and attentive service. The most crispy batter and piping hot fish was absolutely delicious. We can wholeheartedly recommend this cafe to anyone. Thank you!

Dry chips and missing order items. Delivered on time and mushy peas were good but that's about it.

Haggis, spot on, same for black pudding and spam. I'd have them again but would hope the batter would be crispier next time Sponge pudding and custard really good. I've used them a few times and will do again.

Didn't particularly enjoy the meal. Hot dog itself was tasty but bun was of tough texture on the bottom, and the street fries were under cooked. Salad was fine and popcorn chicken was okay. Unfortunately won't be ordering again.

I have been eating Haddock from chippies the world over for 50 plus years. I avoid cod because it is a bottom feeder and therefore susceptible to worms. Haddock is a mid to top feeder and so isn't susceptible to worms, the meat is flakier...
