Lovely tiny little bistro, Owner/Chef is obviously mega passionate about their food, everything was amazing and it wasn't expensive even in the slightest. If you get the chance go here at the first opportunity you get!

Lovely place and fantastic food once again!!!!

The recent refurbishment has lifted the Bistro's atmosphere enormously. The meal, as ever, was superb especially on this Taste of France evening. Exceptional value, huge portion sizes and superb preparation of fabulous food.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening. From the really nice welcome to saying our goodbyes like old friends; it was a first class evening. It was a French bistro menu evening and menu comprised of the classic dishes you would expect. Food was excellent with all four of us commenting on how much we liked each course. My French onion soup was delicious. Highly recommended.

Love Scott’s Bistro, never had a bad meal here. Went last night for the Moroccan themed menu. Everything was delicious. There was just one small disappointment in that the baklava filling, whilst it tasted lovely, was a little hard in texture. Won’t put me off going again, will be back again soon.

Went with family for Sunday Lunch for a 50th Birthday celebration. Lovely food all round, very fresh and well cooked. So tasty! Even the child's chicken nuggets and chips were obviously home made. My husband says the burger is the best he's ever had, praise indeed! Will be back again soon.

We popped in for Sunday lunch and left really satisfied. We chose the roast beef and the stuffed peppers. Both were delicious. Desserts amazing too. Reasonably priced and would highly recommend. A gem of a place.

Tapa’s evening was lovely food was lovely just enough food. My favourite was the cheesecake which looked and tasted homemade.

Went here for a Sunday family meal. There was 8 of us including a two year old and a disabled 34 year old. What can I say… it was the best meal out I’ve probably had in years. All the food was home made even down to the chicken nuggets which were amazing. The Sunday lunch was spot on with an option of meats to choose from. The staff were lovely and attentive! And the selection of drinks was second to none! Including the alcohol free options!!! Cannot wait to return. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon!

Tried Scott’s after a couple of recommendations from friends and we were very impressed! All the food was freshly prepared, the staff were lovely and generally the environment was warm and welcoming. I had the Lambs Liver which was fab and both the Pie and the Roast Chicken looked great and there was very little left on any of the plates. It’s nice to find a restaurant where the vegetables are obviously fresh and cooked to order which is unusual these days, so another good point. We will definitely be back!

I normally love going to the bistro and go there regularly. However i asked if they could make a birthday cake with Happy Birthday ....... on your .... birthday. I was told that was no problem. However they served up a very small cake from a local supermarket with just a few candles stuck in. No personnal message and very obviously a bought in cake which cost much less than i was charged. I am particularly upset by the dishonesty, i was led to believe that this cake would be made by the Bistro with the personnal message. I now have doubts about a restaurant which i had so such high regard.

Although we have been numerous times, we are constantly surprised by the menu. It always improves, and last night was exceptional. Started with a shared camembert, had the Turbot for main which was out of this world and finished with a cheeky Bailey Crem brulee. Fantastic night with fantastic food.

We have been regular customers since this gem of a little restaurant first opened. We love the food and fine dining. We always feel important and special and love this amazing place. The homemade pate and baked cheesecake are amazing! It is quality, not quantity, that counts, and Scotts Bistro never disappoints. .

I have visited this establishment on several occasions and have never been disappointed. This lovely little bistro type restaurant goes quite unnoticed as you drive out of Kirkham towards Preston. The Sunday lunch is proper comfort food with a choice of roast meats and home made yorkies, seasonal veg with an ample helping of gravy. (Think mum’s Sunday roast). The service is always friendly and efficient. Booking is a good idea as the dining room accommodates limited numbers - a bonus in my opinion. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for speciality evenings like Burn’s night or Oktoberfest - definitely worth a try. Highly recommended.

Stopped off here on way home from the Lake District. Service was spot on. We ordered 3 different Sunday Roasts. Chicken, vegetarian and a Beef plus a Cauliflower cheese to share. All spot on and the plates hardly needed cleaning after we had finished - all cooked to perfection and was yummy. Had a few puddings too - all very nice. Highly recommend this place.

We came to Scott’s bistro for the themed ‘Burns’ night’ with a group of friends. It was a 4 course meal (Scottish/ Burns’ night menu). It was a lovely evening with good service, lovely food and a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. Excellent value for a 4 course meal too. This is a lovely little bistro. Highly recommend 😊

Hidden gem! Amazing food, service and atmosphere. 100% will be back. 5 of us ate, we had the Christmas set menu, the turkey was the best I’ve ever had! Everybody else loved it too. Lovely welcoming staff, could not recommend more based on our experience tonight.

Fabulous. We had a private party with 23 guests. The food was exceptional. Main courses included duck breast, venison burger and hake. Beautiful.

I came here with my family and we got a roast buffet and we all enjoyed it so so much. The roast potatoes were so nice and warm and crispy it was delicious including the gravy poured on top. Also the meat we selected was gorgeous including the people serving and cooking!

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was second to none and service and surroundings are excellent. I would recommend to anyone.

Went to Mark Scott’s bistro tonight with my lovely wife Liz.The weather was dank ,but the welcome was warm and friendly.I opted for the gin pate ,and my wife ,the garlic king prawns,both very nice ,and were polished off very quickly .The mains ,I opted for the Lamb,and my wife, the swordfish,only to be told ,that they had ran out ,so she opted for the sea bass.Both dishes were lovely ,and were washed down by a decent bottle of Pinot ,Would highly recommend frequenting Scott’s Bistro !! Visited Scott’s with my friend and we had a wonderful meal. I had the mushroom gnocchi and the king prawns and it was absoloutly delicious. My friend had the pheasant and said it was one of the nicest meals she had for ages. It was amazing service big portions and a really great lovely mixed of textures and flavours. Can’t recommend enough!

Staff, atmosphere and Food was amazing

Our party went to Scott’s on Sunday 29.10.23 the place is a little quirky and was nice the thing that let this place down was the server who was a young girl who was very abrupt and did not listen to what we wanted which resulted in one of the meals was not correct and the wine ordered was no correct. Whilst the food was very nice the experience was spoiled by the server. To continue this theme she wanted to go as it closes early she came to collect the plates while we were still eating. Overall nice food poor service when we visited and we will not be going back there are much better places to eat.

Went as a party of 11 for my Mother in Laws birthday and we all ordered the Sunday Roast buffet. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious, with hot plates. Two joints of meat of your choice, roast potatoes, veggies, cauliflower cheese and Yorkshire puds - served in the middle of the table to help yourself and felt like a home from home Sunday roast. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.
