My wife only wanted beans on toast but at 4.50, I think that’s a rip-off if the full Monty brekkie has a massive variety of things for only £9. Worst thing was in this peaceful spot, the insistence of playing Capital Radio full blast through the TV. Are your customers fourteen years old? The cafe does not exist for the convenience of the bits of kids serving on. It is for the customers. This is supposed to be a haven of peace not a disco,

A lovely cycle out and popped into refuel 😂👍 . A fab cafe for lunch and a coffee and beautiful moist cherry and almond cake . Not really into fishing but how lovely to sit in beautiful surrounds watching the dedicated gentlemen enjoying their hobby . We will be definitely back to try more cake 🍰.

I have been quite q few times for fishing, The ponds are clean and peaceful with a good selection of fish to be caught. There is ( i think ) 6 lakes in total , i have fished 3 of them and got 3 to go. everytime i go fishing i always go for lunch at the cafe and i have to say even though it comes on toast the BLT's are one of the best i have tasted if not its the best. I have had a BLT numerous times and each one have always been consistant in taste and quality, i have also had the full monte breakfast a few times and again its been consistant, again its probably very close to the best i have tatsed. The cafe i find is very good value for money and the food is great quality too i have not had anything bad to say about the food. If your looking for a drive out and want to hit a cafe on the way then i would reccommend you stop off here and have a bite to eat, you wont be disapointed.

Called here for a breakfast whilst on the way for a day out in Blackpool. Found this establishment on TripAdvisor. Ordered a 'full monty' which consists of egg, black pudding. Spam, hash brown, fried bread, three sausage, three bacon, mushrooms, beans and two slices of toast. All for the princely sum of a fiver, excellent value. My only slight complaint would be that I would rather have paid a little more and had better quality sausages, everything else was fine. The cafe is set within a fishery, lovely location and plenty of wildlife about. The service was friendly and excellent.

Cannot praise this hidden gem too highly. First visited for coffee and cake as had been recommended by a friend. Lovely location. It is situated in a fishery but you don't have to be a fisherman to use this delicious cafe. We revisited today for Sunday lunch with my elderly mother. The food and value for money are just excellent. Three delicious courses for under £7 - - a bargain Highly recommend and willl be definitely be revisiting. Lovely friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, really clean and inviting. .

Took my husband and sister today to Cafe Whitmore. The cafe looked really nice with Easter decorations and the tables set really colourful with fresh daffodils. Very friendly staff and we were seated in a corner with a view out over one of the lodges. Unfortunately it was a very grey and wet day (sun came out a bit later). Veg soup (home made) to start or broccoli and Stilton but opted for first one. Glass of apple or orange juice (or you can take your own wine). The Sunday roast was tremendous and I couldn't finish it. We had a cappuccino and then dessert. All for £9.95 each. Then as we were leaving, were given an Easter egg each! going to return for their 'Almost Famous' cheese and onion pie (with salad)!

We stayed at the local Stanley Villa Camping Pods and went here for our breakfasts on the two days we were there. I'm a veggie and the breakfasts are cracking and very reasonable. The cafe is set around a busy fishing lake and has lots of chairs for outside too. They also deliver to site for no extra charge. We will go back when we go to the Pods again.
