Excellent Sunday lunch in comfortable surroundings. Roast beef was spot on, fresh veg( 6 different, including roast and mashed potatoes). Puddings we’re unusually good. Service prompt and courteous

I pood myself because of the the meat I got cripling diariah I am now wheelchair bound for the rest of my life. Very enjoyable.

This is a MUST go to for Sunday Lunch. Either I go alone or when my Mum comes to stay it is our go to Sunday Roast must. Booking is fully recommended as it is so popular. Such good value for money, the food is piping hot and delicious. Different meat choices for the roast/veg option also other main meals available also. The staff are very welcoming, even when I sit alone they make you feel welcome. Very clean and food roast dinner is extremely good value and huge portions! If you are from Sandbach or visit Sandbach 100% recommend! Thank you lovely meal as always with my mum last week!

We had a family gathering in the private dining room for a 90th birthday. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered the food on the night and it came promptly and all together. Excellent all round, thanks to everyone involved.

Decided to visit today. First time in a long time. Both hubby and I had the full English breakfast. It was absolutely spot on. The ingredients were freshly cooked and tasted fresh too. On top of that the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again very soon

Friendly pub with a good selection of ales and drinks. Darts board in the back which was popular. Definitely worth a visit!

Disappointed that I have only just discovered the accomodation at The Wheatsheaf! Calm, tranquil oasis of luxury in a busy but small village. The rooms are sensational. Decor is delightful. Everything about our stay here was 5*PLUS. Looking for an excuse to come back.

Amie has been incredible, i told her about my cinnamon allergy and she went above and beyond to make sure none was anywhere near me. from changing my friends glass to going to the outside bar from inside to make them aware aswell. This girl is an absoloute asset to your team, and we are so very grateful for her hospitality!

Excellent lunch on the way to the lake district. Warm friendly reception for humans and dogs. Food was excellent I had the home made steak pie and I can honestly say it's the best pie I've had in a very long time , proper suet pastry and delicious slow cooked steak served with perfectly cooked veg and chunky chips plus extra gravy . My husband had the chicken - bacon salad which was also excellent. Family run pub , great Beer too ! Highly recommended
