Excellent Sunday lunch in comfortable surroundings. Roast beef was spot on, fresh veg( 6 different, including roast and mashed potatoes). Puddings we’re unusually good. Service prompt and courteous

We’d seen some comments on FB about the Sunday lunch and tried to book for last Sunday (Lady Captains lunch) but no worries - we booked for today. It’s a friendly place and the staff are very welcoming. We chatted to the other diners and the chef. The menu is brief which is reassuring - roasts and a couple of other mains, plus 4 or 5 desserts. We both had the roast beef. It was obvious that all the ingredients were fresh - the vegetables were cooked al dente but not ‘raw’! Three good slices of medium roast beef and all the trimmings. The desserts included bread and butter pudding which I’d not had for years! Served with custard and shared between us. We struggled to understand how they could offer fresh, plentiful food at £9.95 for mains and £4.50 for desserts! Definitely going back!! They offer meals for visitors on Thursday evenings and breakfast on Saturdays.

Another fantastic christening lunch with family. Although the weather was little cooler than 12 months ago, we still had a wonderful day. The lunch was lovely and staff attentive. Thank you all again.

Went with family, we return most Sunday's. The food is great, good choice and will accommodate where possible. Staff very friendly and helpful. Go for a few drinks and lunch you won't be disappointed.

A good restaurant at a golf club? Must be some mistake? Actually, no. This really is good and a lovely surprise; you can eat here without being a member too.

What can I say, the food is amazing with ample choice. It is very well presented with great care taken from the new chef. The service is second to none and the price is very reasonable. I have taken friends numerous times and never had a complaint. I can tell you the pies all homemade are award winning so Be prepared for a bit of a wait if busy but you won't be disappointed. Give it a go ....

We only went in for a quick bite to eat but the meal I had was fantastic, the burger looked homemade and the homemade chips were the best I ever tasted! The service was good and the meal was good value for money.the chocolate fudge cake was nice and a good portion. Would recommend eating here.

We decided to have our family Xmas meal here after several delicious lunches, what a great decision! The food was wonderful, fresh home cooked food at it's best. We had two children with us, all the staff were great and homemade burgers were as excellent as expected. We cannot recommend enough, fabulous service with brilliant food. Just to note the portion sizes are massive, go hungry! Thanks for a great night!

Daniella y su equipo de cocina nos proporcionó comida excepcional y nos dieron una cálida bienvenida del personal del bar también. Ya hemos reservado de nuevo para 2015.

We had our wedding reception here on 20th September 2014 and we cannot thank Sandbach golf club enough especially Hayley, Daniella and Paul. Nothing was too much trouble, they were very helpful and made some great suggestions themselves to make sure the event was special. When we arrived from the ceremony to a warm welcome we were delighted with the room, it looked stunning and the setting was lovely, everybody commented how nice it was and when the food was served it was delicious and beautifully presented. they all worked hard to ensure we had a fantastic time. This place will be top of our list for any future functions. If you're reading this because you're looing to book somewhere we can't recommend it enough. Book it and enjoy!

We have dined at Sandbach Golf Club a few times now and we have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is great, bar service first class and the food exceptional. The kitchen staff were very efficient and we enjoyed every mouthful of our meals. The chefs must get more recognition as the food is fantastic and the choice excellent. There really is nothing we can think of to be negative about. How nice to sit eating your meal looking out at the golf course, landscaped area and wild life. We then retired to the patio area and sat for hours enjoying our drinks and surroundings.

We are not members at the club but were advised to try it Well we certainly were not dissapointed , great food good prices and excelent service Will definatly be back and recomend this gem

Just enjoyed another fantastic meal at sandbach golf club. My husband joined last year and our family are taking full advantage of the social club. It is so nice to see a golf club thAt welcomes all members of the family and appreciates that it's the youngsters coming though that will be the next generation of golfers. If you are not a golfer, no fear you can still enjoy one of the best kept secrets in sandbach. Food delicious, portions enormous, prices very reasonable and nothing too much trouble, wonderful! We enjoy the excellent quality plus value of food Just joined the club at the end of last yearNot had the chance of much golf played with bad weather and course often closed due to flooding.... but look forward to many happy years of visits to the club

We have been dining at Sandbach golf club now for a number of months and never once been disappointed. We were introduced to the club by friends who are active playing members there and we were pleasantly surprised by what we experienced.On pur most recent visit we were dining with 4 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival to the club we were welcomed by friendly, polite and professional bar staff. The bar prices are very reasonable and are noticeably cheaper than other restaurants or pubs in the area.Once we had our drinks we relaxed in the lounge area whilst looking over the menu. A lovely menu offering a variety dishes at very reasonable prices.The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Once the food arrived we were met with what can only be described as a feast. We had (very large) mixed grills priced at £8.95. this would easily have been a dish worth £16.00 anywhere else. This restaurant in my opinion has been the best kept secret in Sandbach and it is definately worth a visit.spread the word..its well worth a visit. once you have been you will keep going back. guarnteed.

We were a large group of 58 that booked the venue for a seasonal Christmas meal. Despite the obvious probems of serving different courses to so many people quickly, we were completely satisfied with the cost, efficiency and friendliness of the staff and of the meal itself considering that golf club dining cannot be compared fairly with a bona fide restaurant. In addition, a small dance area was available of which we took advantage to our own music !

Anthony and Aneta who run the catering side of the golf club are doing a great job, lovely food at fair prices served in a very friendly and professional manner. It's a nice comfortable venue now open to the general public and unlike some golf clubs, here you will receive a warm welcome. Give it a try.
