Food is always spot on. Down side is that swaps aren’t allowed on a cooked breakfast, for example swapping the fried bread for toast or even doing poached egg instead of fried. Also, the mid check in during the meal isn’t needed within a greasy spoon 🤣

Very good food, friendly service….but, could do with a little more industrial extraction. On entry it was a little like entering the set of top of the pops in the 80’s with their smoke machine on full wack!! Needless to say I left smelling like a fried breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, I understand a cafe in the morning cooking fried breakfast smell and it’s hard to escape, but this was too much.

Good egg, bacon and sausage filled balm cake. Friendly staff, clean tables etc and excellent toilet facilities. The menu was sufficient for our needs but there was a menu to suit most needs including items of a sweeter nature. Recommended

Hadn't been in here since it was taken over. Wow, what a lovely cafe it is now. Spotlessly clean, nice decor and excellent food. Got chatting to the owner Beverley and her mum Janet. Really lovely people, friendly, chatty and felt like we already knew them. Can't praise enough, highly recommended. Ladies we will be back, thank you .

We visited Sally’s while on a trip to Sandbach Christmas shopping. We initially popped in for a drink at 11am with our baby son. It was so nice we went back an hour later for lunch and cake. There’s plenty of space if you need to take a pushchair in, quality high chairs and a nice clean changing table in the WC. The food and drinks are good value and the staff are friendly. A brilliant independent. Well worth a visit!

What a find!!! Sandbach is only up the road from us and we didn't even know this cafe existed. We found it just before we took our camper away early one Saturday morning - 7.30am. The food is amazing, the coffee refillable and the staff extremely friendly. We have been three times since and never been disappointed.

Visited on a busy Saturday when there was an event on in town, so after reading other reviews, which state the food is ok, perhaps the one lady cooking and the one young waitress, simply couldn’t cope.Tables not cleaned between diners, long wait for a standard breakfast, bacon undercooked, eggs & beans cold, fried bread burnt on one side & still soft bread on the other but worse than all that was the fume filled room from all the frying...the overall interior is tired & needs a good freshen up. Not a smile to be seen. Sorry, but that was our first & last visit, we definitely won’t be back.

Stopped en route from the West Country to the North of England. Ordered a small and large English breakfast. Both were huge in my eyes, the large having 2 of everything! It was quick, hot and tasty with everything a full English should have on the plate. Lovely and kept us full for the rest of the day!

Friendly cafe at good price. We had oatcakes for breakfast filter coffee but they do a range of breakfasts and lunches. We were told that it's now under new management and plans to open 7 days - from 7am weekdays. It's just hidden about 50 meters or so from the market hall but worth finding. Sandbach has lots of free parking nearby. Wishing the new owner every success

A great find this cafe in Sand Bach. Whilst travelling along a motorway for a weekend away we stopped at Sand Bach for some lunch and discovered Sally's cafe. It was clean and the staff were welcoming. The food we picked was cooked fresh and was delicious and piping hot. Would recommend this cafe to anyone and if we are ever in the area again we will definitely make a return visit.

We recently went to this cafe for lunch as I had family visiting for Christmas. Two members of my family had the steak & onion sandwich, another had a bacon sandwich and I had the omelette. The food was great and very tasty. The cafe was busy but the service was superb. I have also been in here in the past and had a great breakfast. I'd say order anything from the menu it's all great. I also like the fact that if you order tea, you get it in a nice teapot with a lovely china cup, a nice touch as not many places serve you tea like this.

Visited this place a few times and we wont be visiting again. They offer take aways which i don't see why because they clearly cant cater for this service. The service is really really slow and the staff are quite unpleasant like everything is an issue. There is no routine on any order and everything is just rushed and greasy. Would give it a miss!

I called in for breakfast while shopping in Sandbach and enjoyed an excellent meal, very pleasantly served by an attentive waitress/cook. I opted for the Big breakfast (as opposed to Big Big or Mega breakfasts!), which was enough for me, and at £4.95 (including a hot drink) was reasonably priced. Judging by the menu, they also do a good range of lunches.

I don't eat in many greasey spoon type cafés to compare it to others of those but overall as a cafe it is disgusting. It smelt as soon as you entered, after we sat down I could see mould on the back wall up near the ceiling and although he guy who served us was quite pleasant the food was rank, greasey and some of the lowest grade bacon and sausage I've ever been served. Not that there was much of that anyway it was all beans and tomatoes. Baffles me how it's allowed to serve people food when it's so run down

The food here is excellent, honest, freshly-cooked and tasty. Eat-in or takeaway. The value for money is unquestionable. The only problem I have with it is that if you are in there for more than 10 minutes, when you come out, your clothes and hair smell uncomfortably of cooking fat. This is probably fine is you're a roadworker but not everybody wants to smell of lard all day. Please invest in a better extraction system and we'd be in an awful lot more and would recommend without hesitation.

I visited here in April 2012 one morning because I was early for an interview. The owner is a lovely and very friendly lady. I only ordered toast and a coffee, which to my surprise turned out to be two huge doorstep slices of toast with butter and jam on the side. The cafe is decorated with children's pictures and art work which I found to be lovely. Nice little place, excellent value and very welcoming.

Sally's Cafe is in Sandbach town centre and I have visited it twice with friends for the cooked breakfast. At £4.40 with a mug of tea it is terrific value. The sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, tomatoes, beans and toast, served piping hot, will set you up for the day. There are larger options with as much toast as you want but this was ample. The staff are friendly, chatty and efficient. I went on Market Day and one waitress rushed between tables and we were served within 10 minutes even though it was full of satisfied looking regulars. There is a lunch menu which we will try in the future. It will have to be special to match the breakfast, which is one of the best I have ever had.

The most appalling 'meal' and service that I have ever been subjected to. We ordered steak and ale pie and this was brought out to us and placed on our table and described as a pie. However, there was absolutely no pastry, just a bit of gravy in a dish. When I called the waiter back he said 'to be honest, we've ran out of pastry' - are these people for real? To add insult to injury, the manager actually tried to charge us for the pies we never received!!!! Shambolic and not for the first time, but definitely for the last. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY!!!!

This place has a vast amount of things for children to play on. However don’t expect to get food quick- they have two cage areas but one is never open and the other has a constant huge queue because the staff take forever! Even if you want drinks you have to queue with the food and last time we queued for 25 minutes! Ridiculous when you have children to supervise and feee!
