Excellent service and food. Quick service. Spotless loos and showers. Pleasant setting. But: needs a couple of "EXIT" signposts from the main car park (see photographs). You look right and see an arrow, painted on the roadway, pointing at you. So you turn left into the boatyard. Confused, you eventually work out that it is a double-headed arrow!! We shall be back! 05SEP2024

Loved this place. It saved us from a huge disappointment after the Snugberry rejection! Nice food and snacks. Lovely coffee and iced drinks. Great outdoor seating, views of the Marina and a nice walk around all the moored boats and barges . Lots of ducks taking up residence too. They also like it there

We called in for a cup of tea and a sandwich as have passed this place multiple times. They had stopped serving food which wasn’t an issue - we ordered a cappuccino and an early grey tea - we were told no early grey - again not an issue ! What was an issue was the rude manner that the lady behind the till spoke to us! She told us it was £2:99 for the tea and my husband said does that include the cappuccino to which she replied rudely you didn’t order that! I said we did and she then retorted you did not I wasn’t here when you asked for that ! Words fail me - she had been stood there the whole time - we had the no food being served - no earl grey saga ! My kids work in hospitality so I know how hard it is but I would be mortified if any of my kids spoke in that manner - !! Very disappointed won’t come back again !

Lovely cafe with pretty views of the boats on the canal. Dog friendly and water bowls provided. Plenty of outdoor seating. Only ordered coffees so can't comment on the food but the coffees were lovely. Lady who served us was pleasant and polite. Entrance is wheelchair friendly and there's plenty of room for a wheelchair inside. Free car park with some disabled spaces. Toilets were lovely and clean and well equipped.

3 of us ordered jacket potatoes with toppings. All 3 jacket potatoes were luke- warm, the tuna on top was cold & watery, the grated cheese was very cold (from the fridge ) & the potatoes weren’t hot enough to melt it - how can you get something so basic this wrong ? We won’t bother going back.

Lovely place and people. Pricing nearly stopped 5 stars. 2 coffees, 2 soups, a slice of cake. North of £20. But quality of food 11/10 and delivered absolutely piping hot with a choice of bread. Very clean and happy staff pushed it off the border. Amazing views and probably a great opportunity to see a narrowboat up close if you've never seen one. No dogs policy. As the Marina's office is right next to the cafe. Historically, it became an issue, too many, too noisy, so it's not that the Marina owners don't love dogs. It just became impractical.

We had food here at lunchtime overlooking the marina. The food was fantastic, lovely and fresh. Staff very friendly and could not do enough for you. I ordered coffee and walnut cake. The waitress gave me 2 big pieces as she said the cake only had a few days left on it's date. Well, it tasted like it had just been baked. The staff had been upset by a bad review written by someone who had not had a knife and fork with his sandwich. I highly recommend this cafe.

Arrived to collect our boat from here 26/07/21. Whist waiting for our food I approached a member of staff for some water for our dog as it was a very hot day. We didn't know the layout or where to go, we'd never been here before or on a canal boat. She was very rude and snapped "I'm trying to do food, you could get some yourself from toilet" After asking directions, I couldn't as they had automated mixer taps, water was hot. Eventually got some from tap at a mooring. First impressions count, you made one on me. Manners cost nothing, don't be so rude to visitors. I wouldn't rush back, try somewhere more pleasant!!

Called in for a bite to eat yesterday and learned that it was only outdoor service so took a seat at one of the few benches in front of the cafe and watched the activity around the long boats moored up in front of us, in spite of there being only four other customers there at the time and staff clearing tables etc we were not approached and asked for our order in the twenty minutes we sat there so gave up and drove to a near by pub. Not impressed.

Good cafe in nice location with reasonable food at standard type prices. If you like strong coffee ask for a second shot! Afterwards, take a stroll around the marina. Interesting and relaxing way to while away 15 or 20 minutes looking at the canal boats. On a pleasant and warm day it would be better still. Overall, worth a visit if you're out and about in the area.

Visited the cafe a few months ago and had breakfast. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We had a breakfast and it tasted home-cooked. Went again with some friends on bank holiday Monday and although all the tables outside were filled, none were filled inside. The food was a bit pricey, but I suppose that's to be expected considering the location. Because I was ravenous, I chose something that I thought would be quick and easy for them to prepare, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on a bagel. After a 30 minute wait, I asked a passing waitress if mine would be much longer, she didn't know. Another 15 minutes passed. I went to the counter to ask how much longer it would be. The waitress had a sour face and in a stroppy tone said they were busy and under her breath said, I would have to wait. I asked her to repeat what she said, which she did, so I asked her if she thought that was the right way to talk to a customer. I'm sorry to say that she couldn't have cared less. I spoke to the girl who had served me and asked for my money back. She was at a total loss and didn't know what to do. She went and got the chef, who seemed very stressed and said they were busy and just plating it up. I said that if they had told me it was going to be a 45 minute wait, I never would have ordered it. After another 10 minutes, my food finally arrived. It was nice, scrambled eggs a little overdone. But an hour to do a scrambled egg and smoked salmon bagel.... There's so many lovely places around Nantwich to eat and I'll definitely be choosing one of those next time, over this place.
