The best restaurants serving British food in North West

A relaxing place with plenty of space, an up and coming toy corner for little ones if you want to take the kids. WiFi, and really tasty food and drink. The first time I have tried a savoury pancake with bacon and maple syrup! It was delicious! Thank you If you wanna find rest for your soul I would recommended here.

Bought lunch for the family in Winstanley Shopping Precinct. The pies and cakes were lovely. But the pork pie was very dissapointing. It was thin, the pork was mushy and the pastry soft and soggy. Very dissapointing.

Lovely freshly made bacon barms muchbetter than those at Costa. Going back to try the pies some time soon

Found this place by chance called in and and ordered a breakfast barm (sausage bacon egg mushrooms and blackpudding ) and a coffee, all at very good price, the staff were helpful and the place was clean and warm. Would I call again yes if I was in the area

This place has a vast amount of things for children to play on. However don’t expect to get food quick- they have two cage areas but one is never open and the other has a constant huge queue because the staff take forever! Even if you want drinks you have to queue with the food and last time we queued for 25 minutes! Ridiculous when you have children to supervise and feee!

Poor experience, after booking table for six in advance, we were told inno uncertain terms that we would not be served at our table in the bar. We had to move ten feet into the quiet restaurant where food was eventually served at the table. Waitress spent most of her time talking to the barman in the bar! Won't be returning.

This is becoming our favourite place to have a lovely meal with family well worth the trip from Widnes

Been visiting this pub for a few years now...the service and welcome is always great...food is above average ...prices aren't extortionate...its part of Brunning and Price pub group...experts at their trade

First visit and could not be more impressed. Food was amazing and the service was speedy and very good. Andrew (aka Alan 😄) as Front of House Host was attentive and very efficient. Highly recommended.

It is nice, but the character inside isn't really for me. The room ceilings are very low and dark due to the nature of the building... Beautiful, just not for me
