The best restaurants serving British food in Coatham Redcar and Cleveland North East

What a lovely little Gem in the centre of Redcar. We were looking to have lunch and half of our party were vegetarian and vegan. This gave us all lots of options and choice (which is so rare) and the quality, food and service even on a busy day was amazing - go and treat yourself and support a local business - loved it x

Exceptional produce. Pies have the shortest, crumbly crust, plenty of filling and amazing flavours. Possibly the best pie shop in Britain. Apart from the Redcar outlet, there is another shop at Saltburn Victorian Station. Scotch eggs of various flavours with perfectly cooked eggs. Recommend this company to all.

Dinner required was not on the menu. Homemade chips were not home made just put through a chipper sameas any old chip shop. Service was very slow. Run by kids on minimum wage obviously. Stay away.

Always go to The Lobster when I am staying and working up there. Friendly welcome and excrllent good value food.

Delivery came with a bread bun short, i contacted the shop and the young lady said it was her fault, she hadnt read the order right. She was going to inform the manager to refund the cost. But nothing recieved. I know its ony 90p but its the principl

My wife smelt roast, and we werent disappointed, friendly staff, felt comfortable, free icecream for puds, cant go wrong, wish we had a place like this in Bath

Called on Sunday after an afternoon in redcar. Fish and chips were delicious and staff were great. Will definitely go again

Fish and chips and pea's and bread and butter and a pot of Tea made our shopping trip easier to do and we even made room for a slice of cake
