We visited Corbridge Sandwich during a recent visit to the village. There was so many choices of fillings for sandwiches and paninis as well as lunch options and tray bakes. We went for breakfast rolls and we were not disappointed. Tasty, filling and reasonably priced too. We made a second visit a couple of days later it was so good. Give it a try if you’re visiting.

We chose the cafe as a place to meet friends and have a coffee and snack. The cafe was fairly quiet and we were allowed to choose where to sit. We were served by several ladies who were all really friendly and happy to chat. We chose quiche and salad whilst our friends enjoyed scones with coffee’s all round. The food was excellent and having finished, we stayed for a short while and chatted. We never felt under pressure to leave and found all the staff really pleasant. We were initially unsure whether to visit having read some recent reviews, however after today’s experience, we will definitely return in the future.

Good little cafe wt options from breakfast through lunch. Small range of options but all freshly prepared. Recommend the home made a ham broth, it's vet filling but well worth trying. Good choice of sandwiches and cakes for everyone palate.

I'm on record as having said on many occasions that if they awarded PhDs for scone-tasting, I should have a dozen. I've eaten scones in venues from the Orkney Islands to Australia and written about them in more publications than I could possibly remember. So, you can take my word for it that the freshly-baked, home-made scones (with butter and strawberry jam) at No.6 are quite possibly the best I've tasted in recent years. Cafe No 6 is a quaint place with a very atmospheric first-floor eating area, a delightful owner and staff who look like they are actually enjoying the job they do. My wife and I were just as impressed with the special 'doggy menu' on offer. We shall be back!

Poor menu choices.prawn cocktail thrown together with tiny shrimps.Pie ok but no better than Greg’s chicken bake. The Angel lager was branded stuff worse than foster’s. The waiting staff nice enough but simply plate carriers.Portion of chips added to the pie was measly with about 6 good chips with the rest looked liked been in the hold for hours. This used to be a great pub food outlet moving to bistro level food.
