We visited Corbridge Sandwich during a recent visit to the village. There was so many choices of fillings for sandwiches and paninis as well as lunch options and tray bakes. We went for breakfast rolls and we were not disappointed. Tasty, filling and reasonably priced too. We made a second visit a couple of days later it was so good. Give it a try if you’re visiting.

One of if not the best fast food sandwich shop I have used. Good choice of fresh fillings and home made pies soup etc

Rode from Hebburn to Corbridge back in July last year. Just done it again today and it reminded me to leave a review. Had a cracking ham salad sandwich here, really enjoyed it. Friendly service and a reasonable price. Certainly better than the shop on opposite corner as this was freshly made. Will happily visit again. I would have today but wasn't open yet.

This little sandwich shop offers the most amazing food to go. Everything is home cooked and portions are huge! Great value for money. Staff are friendly and professional. It can get busy though, so be patient, it’s well worth the wait. Highly recommended.

Three sandwiches with bottles of water were around £13, which I thought was reasonable for the quality of filling, and size of portion. Friendly service. Would visit again if back in Corbridge at lunchtime.

Attitude is difficult to quantify, this is my second visit to this shop as I was unsure after the first. I arrived at 2:17 to be told that they had sold out of most things, "I was late, we close at three" no hand washing choice of three buns, ( and I mean three not three different styles). Just rude and did not seem interested, didn't listen and it all seemed a bit much for her.

Lovely fresh sandwich, made to order and not skimped on any ingredients. Great value for money. Recommend if you want a good takeaway.

Stopped in after a long walk, during lockdown , first food outside of the home since march and it was incredible. Had the ploughman's and a cappuccino, so tasty, fresh and generous! Will definitely be returning. Great system to stay safe and limit people in the cafe with all that is going on. Thank you!

This is a really nice sandwich bar. The best toastie I’ve had in years, great fillings and wide selection. The sour dough bread is to die for! Lovely selection of other sandwiches, pies and cakes. Everything is really fresh and tasty. The couple who own it are so friendly too.

This really is a fabulous place. Food is always amazing and there is so much choice. Freshly prepared with lovely fresh produce 💕

We wanted to sit in the sunny square so bought lunch from the sandwich bar. The "small" salad box was generously filled and my wife could have had more and additional ingredients if she had wanted. My panini was well filled and came freshly toasted and almost too hot to eat immediately. Prices were very reasonable. Service was swift despite the shop being busy at the peak of lunchtime.

Wanted a nice sandwich so decided to go in here, unbelievable the girl who made my sandwich handled money then made my sandwich without gloves or washing her hands I Didn’t eat it I was shocked, never again will I ever go here again. The hygiene was appalling.

This sandwich bar was a great find. I bought a small salad box and was surprised at how good value for money it was! The girl who served me was very helpful and speedy. Definitely worth a visit!

Picked up some sandwiches for a picnic lunch. Friendly service. Good choice of fillings at a reasonable price. Bought a tuna mayo with olives and sun dried tomatoes and a sweet chilli chicken for £5.85. Both filled to bursting and just what we needed on a break whilst walking along the Tyne towards Riding Mill.

Visitamos el sandwich bar un par de veces y siempre decepcionante. Relleno son racionados al punto el gerente sobre personal para asegurarse de que la cantidad correcta es poner en si no se lo lleva. Baguettes son duras, desde el congelador y poner en la a calentar haciendo de ellos de roca sólida. Muy caro para lo que ofrece. El servicio no es bueno y parece que hay una alta rotación de personal.

Visitamos este lugar para conseguir algo dulce para el postre y fue fantástico. Cuando llegamos, había tres catadores en la parte superior de la barra, así que puede probar antes de comprar. Yo tenía una frambuesa y almendra y mi pareja tenía café café. Las porciones eran enormes (nos ahorramos algunos para el día siguiente!) y muy sabroso.

I'm disappointed we only found this little gem on our last day of our holiday. We picked up some rolls and a salad box for our day out. The rolls were very fresh and so were all the fillings. The rolls were loaded with fillings so I had a very happy husband who chose a delicious coronation chicken and three daughters who ate everything. My salad was so fresh and it was nice to be able to choose a lot of different sales to make up the box. I made my husband take a special trip on our way home so we picked up lunch there again . Also I felt it was great value for money (compared to down south!!)

Acabo de izquierda corbridge bocadillería sensación muy confundido. Tengo intolerancia a la levadura, así que no puedo comer pan. La señora de la tienda dijo que no envuelve, así que sentía que tenía éxito el jackpot. Pedí una salchicha y tocino envoltura para la señora taller pelo oscuro para decir 'que no en una envoltura no sólo tienen una pelea o algo 'estoy confundido por lo que simplemente no ir en una envoltura? Se puede poner algo en una envoltura!? No importa... Yo sólo ir de caza para un abundante que hará en una envoltura (aunque sé para un hecho y bacon hacer salchichas) y no me puedo pasar un bun no puedo comer por desgracia. Normalmente cuando he visitado anteriormente ha sido genial, pero me marché muy confundido y como si no quieres mi a medida que de todos modos.

Historically, when going to sandwich/ salad bars i am frequently disappointed with the choice and freshness of the menu , but here at the sandwich shop i was in salad bliss...hand prepared the freshest salad, the staff were very lovely and patient ..with my requirements :) and im not an easy to please salad lady :)

Freshly cooked, lots of choice, friendly & helpful staff, excellent value, can pre order or read the available newspaper while you wait. Brilliant

This place used to be one of my favourites . Until I found a long black hair in one of the sandwiches. I also have another friend who had a similar experience. Such a shame.

I have been buying lunch from this shop for a while. Great value tasty food. Love the soup - please make it available more often if you can guys! Smashing food to sit and eat outside in Corbridge marketplace or churchyard.

What an excellent place to eat. Make this a destination to eat and relax. Lovely food, good service with a smile. Great value for money. Will definitely go again next time I pass by. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful salad you get here, plenty of choices of dishes to choose from to make your salad unique and to your own taste. I had this for my lunch it was so big I only had a sandwich at night. Amazing value for money and soooo tasty. Thank you to Karen and Sarah who are both so happy to help you. Definitely worth a visit

Good food and at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. Would come again for some more next time i am around.

I work in a village near Corbridge and often make tracks to purchase my lunch here. I particularly enjoy the soup - hot and tasty. Overall the shop sells good quality food. There is usually a little bit of waiting but this is due to the shop's popularity. Prices are clearly on display and staff are friendly. Good value all round.

Popped in for a quick snack for my trip with wife & 2 boys. I ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 diet coke, 2 crisps and 2 ham wraps and stated that they were for kids. They used the cheapest of buns & wraps purchased from Aldi and charged £12.70. Total rip off, I queried how much they charged for the kids wrap £2.60! Each! For 1 plain ham wrap!Will not go back here....the sandwiches were off poor quality too!

Very nice, upscale, pleasant service, good food, good prices. Overlooks the village's main square and is just above a very good greengrocer's and a luxury bakery.

I get a slight buzzing sensation in my pants when i think of just how good the meatballs are here. Such big balls, and Karen and her lovely assistant handle them so well. I think i want to marry them. The Cajun chicken is equally as good if they are out of meatballs. I EXPECT EXTRA MEATBALLS ON FRIDAY!!!!!

Great food, great service, great stuff. You can't ask for more from a sarnie bar than excellent choices, great flavours and reasonable prices. If you were inclined to ask for more they would surely deliver. Super soups, sublime sandwhiches, perfect paninis and divine deli boxes all fortified by the Friday (cheat day) addition of hot delights like curry, meatballs or chilli. I had the most amazing lunchtime experience in a long time. Fantastic Pannini and brilliant staff, i wasn't sure what to have at first as the menu is vast, but they guided me and made me a customized Pannini which was delicious. i WILL be going back!

Have visited the Corbridge Sandwich Bar numerous times on my lunch break and I'll tell you something (being a fussy eater) especially when it comes to bread - they are spot on and nothing is a bother. She can conjure up any variety of sandwich to suit your particular taste buds. They didn't have any bacon and brie in granary made up however, it was done in two shakes of a donkeys tail and just the way I like it - not too much butter and the bread.... well heaven - don't know who her supplier is but would mind getting my hands on a loaf. & have you tried her ham and egg with sweet chilli relish in poppy seed bun..... devine what can I say. Big smile from me :-)

I have to admit this was the best wrap I've had, excellent food - I had the Cajun chicken salad wrap - delicious. Excellent service - lovely friendly staff, cleanliness spot on, food very tasty - lots to choose from and excellent value too! Strongly recommended.

Great sausages sandwiches, but make sure to ask for the whole grain mustard. The salads are really good, too, but honestly I really only look forward to the sausages . . . and occasionally the soup!

I do not know if all their sandwiches are made to order but ours definitely were. lovely fresh bread buns bursting with tasty fillings all first class. I am sure the owner will be down to 4' soon at the pace he works I am sure he will wear his legs down. Yes this was a pleasant experience that I would definitely recommend.
