Fabulous quirky atmosphere, lovely relaxed pace , the food was expertly prepared and delicious something for everyone. They take allergies seriously I’m coeliac and I felt very safe eating here. Will definitely be returning

Lovely little cafe with very friendly staff. Didnt see vegetarian option on menu but when asked abt veggie breakfast they were very accommodating! It was lovely. Wld call again when in area!

We called in at this lovely licensed café for lunch and were lucky to find a free table. The mother and daughter team were very welcoming and friendly. The list of light lunches, cold sandwiches, toasties, paninis was extensive and the home baked cakes displayed on the counter were a delight for the eyes. We ordered 3 paninis ( Bacon Brie Cranberry and BBQ Chicken Bacon) all served with salad and crisps: they were delicious. The cakes (Mint Aero Tiffin and Chocolate Caramel shortbread) were out of this world 😋. Well done to Pauline and Jill.

Wonderful local place to meet for Breakfast, lunch, brunch and early supper. Friendly staff and large portions. After too many years, feels like family. Really care about customers.

Can't comment on food as we were only having drinks, cracking little pub very friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere with brilliant live music

I’ve sat in at truffles before and the food was really nice. I’ve rang and collected food a couple of times. The food is always really nice and the prices are very reasonable. This is my favourite cafe in south gosforth.

Batter on the fish uncooked and soggy Not sure what kind of fish we were given but it certainly wasn’t cod Very Disappointing

Just moved into the area so thought I'd give them a try. Lovely traditional and tasty fish and chips. The way they should be. Reasonably priced and decent portion sizes. Definitely my new local as my grandson loves the food and he's well fussy! 😋👍

A first class stay. We were really well looked after and the facilities were excellent. We are in the restaurant on our first evening and the food/service were top class Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it served with a smile We would happily recommend a stay here

Great Sunday roast in a lovely setting. Haven’t tasted pork quite like todays for quite some time. We will be going again
