As I was in hospital Monday my husband decided to have his breakfast in you Cafe, he was the man who ordered full English with two eggs instead of hash browns. Best breakfast ever he tells me and promises we’ll both go next time.

Awesome breakfast and fresh food

Popped in this morning for a takeaway breakfast for my partner. She was over the moon with the Traditional English breakfast I came home with, cooked lovely, generous portions and superb price. We'll be back!!!!!

Truffles Cafe in Newcastle is a hidden gem! The fry was cooked to perfection, with each ingredient bursting with flavor. The tea was wonderfully brewed, offering a comforting warmth, and the Fanta was a refreshing addition to the meal. The cozy ambiance and friendly service made the experience even more delightful. I highly recommend Truffles Cafe for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience!

My friends and I had a wonderful dining experience here! It was my friend's birthday, and although initially we were told we couldn't have cake, a staff member kindly allowed us to bring candles. Despite feeling awkward at first, the staff made us feel very cared for. Additionally, the full English breakfast was delicious!

The 7am till 10am offer cant be beat !!! Outstanding value. Great recommendation and ill be back to try some of the other menu soon.

We hired the Truffles team to cater for our Engagement party at South Gosforth Social Club (28/10). The team were accomodating of allergen needs (nut free), the price was reasonable per head and there was so much more included that I thought there would have been! Everything was beautifully presented (and labelled!) and showed a real care to cater for our day. All of our guests highly rated the food and as a result there was very little left at the end! Particularly the pies our guests said were gorgeous. Would recommened to anyone looking to cater for parties and events.

Lovely little family run cafe - the double egg breakfast bun is delicious 😋. Great value for money too for the coffees way cheaper than likes of Costa an Starbucks but taste just as good !

Friendly staff and good quality food

Grabbed a couple of butties for lunch today, nice smiling face behind counter. 2 Bacon sausage and egg in white baps. Beautiful, hit the spot. Nice n quick, just what was needed. Lovely.

Ordered the special steak strips in peppercorn sauce - tried to eat as much as I could as I’m not a complainer & hate food waste. Managed less than half. Was asked when they came to clear plates if everything was ok. I had to speak up & said I couldn’t eat it as there was far to much pepper in the sauce & couldn’t taste the rest of my meal, not sure why I even said anything as the response I got was ‘aww’ when going to pay at the counter was asked again by another if everything was ok again said to much pepper in the sauce which agin fell on deaf ears not even an acknowledgement - 1st & last time we will visit

Top quality little cafe, the staff are super friendly you always receive a warm welcome and the food is lush. Always know what you want before you even know yourself haha. Definitely recommend

I was in South gosforth for the morning and came across this cafe. The full English breakfast, toast and coffee £5.50 and the staff very friendly also the cafe has toilet facilities, highly recommended.

Always a friendly welcome. Food is great, and fantastic value. Kath, Bob and the girls look after my mum and Auntie who eat there every lunchtime. They have a sign that reads "Arrive as strangers, leave as friends" which couldn't be more true.

So much more than just your average sandwich shop. My wife and I visited for a couple sandwiches, we were not disappointed, they were delicious, plenty of choices all freshly made. Looking at the menu there was more than just sandwiches they had some takeaway meals, if the sandwiches are anything to go by the meals will be lovely. It’s great value for the quality. The owners were lovely with great service, full of smiles, and cheer.

Always a friendly welcome, excellent food and value for money for sitting in or taking out. It's easy to feel at home here. Plenty breakfast options, lunch specials, nice coffee, newspapers, radio, electric fire on cold winter mornings. Worth a visit, short walk from South Gosforth metro station.

Food was nice and tasty, and service from Helen was attentive and pleasant. Nice location and drink selection make this a good choice.

Popped in for first time on a whim on a Wed lunchtime as had 30 minutes between meetings. Had the pie and mash special - HUGE portion (and equally massive gravy boat on the side), very tasty home cooking for £4 - bargain!. Friendly service - they refilled my smoothie for free as they 'had some left' - and even scored green points by offering a paper rather than plastic straw...excellent all round.

Came on a Thursday AM, had the full english breakfast, very big and nicely cooked. Only one lady in and was very busy and she managed to keep her cool and the great customer service. Always extremely friendly to all customers. Best place in Newcastle for breakfast.

We just popped in for drinks but the staff we lovely and friendly and the coffee was fab. The sandwiches looked massive and great value so we will definitely be back.

Decided to try the meal deal as it's reasonably priced. I ordered take out panini. When I got back to the office the mozzarella, pesto and tomato panini was actually chicken. I'm sure the food would have been nice had the order been correct. Might give it another go.

Best takeaway breakfast i have ever had with everything cooked to perfection followed by a lush bit of flapjack and a coffee. I'm as full as a bull ! Staff are tremendous as well. I recommend the meal deals as well where you usually get a drink and a bag of good quality crisps for 20-30p extra depending on the cost of your butty!

This was a favorite of ours. Excellent food and excellent service. Regular cafe fare. From full English Breakfast, Eggy Bread to sandwiches everything was well presented and made to order.
