Went with friends for my first time at Smiths. Faultless service from start to finish. Very varied menu for both fish and non-fish eaters. Food was amazing for all four of us. Can’t wait to go back, would highly recommended

12:00才能進餐廳 點了綠咖喱跟炒河 粉 兩個味道都很道地 非常好吃 只是服務人員告知用餐時間只有一個小時,建議想要久留的客人,需要考慮一下!

Entry under London bridge. Visited for an event. Nice outside space. Good setting but it's a bit of an afterthought in terms of integration to the tower of London.

Chips were dead, stale rock hard. Fish was not fresh had no seasoning, no tartar sauce. If you want real good fish and chips go outside of London. This place was absolutely horrible. The quality of the food for the price is an absolute scam. £13.95 for fish and chips that is not even fresh. Better off going kfc or making it yourself

I’ve been to many Slug and lettuce’s in different locations. However this one has so far been the worst. We went on a Saturday for bottomless brunch for a 20th birthday. Upon arrival we put in our first round of drinks. 35 minutes passed and we still had no drinks even though the table next to us had 3 rounds in that time. They only realised we’d been waiting so long when I got up to tell them myself that we still hadn’t received anything only to find our order never got put in. They did give us a bottle of Prosecco as an apology but this was an option on bottomless brunch so was not anything special. Service got faster after that but when our food arrived they had forgotten one of my friends meals completely and he had to sit there for 15 minutes waiting for them to make another one. Our waitress was doing her upmost best and I do understand Saturdays are busy so I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt. Upon getting the bill we were given the wrong bill twice and when she came over with the card reader it was just left with us to figure out ourselves. Giving a bunch of 20 year olds a card machine and leaving it for us to figure out isn’t the best service and most definitely is not allowed. After everyone had tapped their cards they then said that it was saying one person hadn’t paid but everyone had it showing up on their banking app but they refused to let us leave until the final £30 was paid so one person had to pay twice. I feel this could’ve been avoided if we weren’t left to figure out a card machine alone. I understand it’s a Saturday but it didn’t seem like anyone else was having these issues so it was a bit disappointing especially when it’s affecting the mood of the birthday girl and ruining her special day. I’ll return to slug and lettuce in the future but definitely not to this one I’m afraid.

Title: A Disgrace to British Hospitality – Avoid at All Costs I don't write reviews often, but the New Armouries Café practically begged for it with how catastrophically bad it was. This place is a masterclass in how not to run a café. Overpriced, underwhelming, and a disgrace to British hospitality — I wouldn’t feed this food to a stray dog. Let’s start with the salmon bagel. It was a limp, sad excuse for a meal. The bread was chewy like rubber, the salmon tasted like it had been defrosted in a microwave two days ago, and the whole thing reeked of neglect. There was no freshness, no flavor, and absolutely no care in preparation. Calling it a “bagel” is borderline fraud. Now the Swedish meatballs — I have no idea what country these were supposed to represent, but it wasn’t Sweden. These things were dry, gritty, and tasted like they were scooped out of a school cafeteria trash bin and reheated. The sauce was an unidentifiable, salt-loaded sludge that clung to everything like wallpaper paste. Horrific. And the service? Utterly indifferent. Tables were filthy, trays were stacked high with leftovers no one had cleared, and staff seemed to be in a permanent state of annoyance. You could ask for cutlery and be met with a sigh like you'd just ruined their day. For a café inside one of the UK’s most iconic landmarks, this is beyond embarrassing. It’s a tourist trap, plain and simple. High prices for food that wouldn’t even pass at a motorway service station. Shame on whoever manages this place. Save your money. Save your dignity. Eat literally anywhere else. Hell, I’d take a soggy supermarket sandwich in the rain over setting foot in this overpriced disaster again!
