Vine a almorzar aunque a la 1. 30 Casi se habían agotado los bocadillos. Tenía un croque de hongos servido caliente con un café por menos de £ 9. El sándwich era de muy buena calidad con un montón de sabrosos hongos y el café era excelente también. No he estado aquí durante 3 años, pero me alegro de que todavía es excelente.

Absolutely delightful experience! I had the pleasure of dining here recently and was thoroughly impressed. The food was nothing short of exceptional – beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service was equally outstanding; the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. The atmosphere was cosy yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. I genuinely enjoyed every moment and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

I joined a few friends for a couple of drinks after work, and while I don’t normally love Highbury & Islington (feels a bit too woke for me), this pub really surprised me. The staff were super friendly, the beer selection was great, and it’s dog-friendly - so there’s a good chance you’ll make a new four-legged friend during your visit. I’ll definitely be going back to try the food and check out the upstairs theatre… yes, there’s a theatre above the pub! Thanks for a lovely evening.

The bar staff here did such an amazing job last night despite there only being 2 of them and the Arsenal v Madrid game being on! Mad respect!

Great Sunday roast at this little gem!! Beautiful art deco design, great service and wonderful food....highly recommend!!

Cenaron temprano el domingo por la noche. El servicio era un poco lento y tenía que perseguir bebidas. Los entrantes eran buenos, la sopa de chirivía y el sarro de bistec en particular, pero las vieiras, o mejor dicho vieira era promedio. Mains llegó y se veía bien, varios sirvieron en tableros de compartir. Sin embargo, una vez servida la comida estaba tibia pero no caliente y la verdura apenas caliente. Le informamos al camarero que respondió: “¿Qué quieres que haga al respecto? No es exactamente excelente servicio al cliente, pero después de darse cuenta de que nos gustaría comida caliente todas las comidas fueron reemplazadas. La comida de la segunda vez era mejor, pero no genial. El cordero y el pollo bien, el cerdo era pobre. No estoy convencido de que las tablas de servir realmente funcionen, seguramente es mejor servir la comida en placas calientes de tuberías, en lugar de servir a la tabla y luego en platos, simplemente toma más tiempo y la comida simplemente no se mantiene tan caliente. Pocas otras cosas muy limitada elección de bebidas sin alcohol, sin salsas ofrecidas con asados, y no más dulce solo azúcar disponible. La experiencia global fue promedio. El proyecto de ley se ajustó para reflejar los problemas que enfrentamos, lo que fue justo. Ciertamente no nos apresuraremos a regresar para los asados dominicales.

3) 5 5 Este lugar es lindo. Un poco oscuro Los camareros son buenos. Y con muchos grupos de mujeres, el ambiente es bueno. La comida no es tan buena. Simplemente mejorando eso aumentaría mis estrellas. Volvería ya que lo sin fondo era bueno!

Came here for the bottomless brunch and was served by Millie who was a delight. Great service and a fun time

Really enjoyed coming back to the Duchess following its recent refurb (I live just up the road, it’s my local). I love the ambience…more pub than formal restaurant but superb food in an informal easy going setting. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly, and very tasty. I’m also pleased that they have gluten free beer on tap, so much nicer than the bottled stuff. They have an extensive wine list and cocktail list too. Will be visiting much more frequently now!

Repeating our accommodation experience, the product was good, let down by poor management & staff. Sausages, bacon and croissants were fantastic. But we had to wait for seating, tables to be cleaned and there were no mugs/cups for self serve tea/coffee

Speedy and friendly service. Jukebox. Scampi fries. Chocolate. Outdoor area. Take-outs permitted. All you need for a passing refuel- glad it re-opened!
