3) 5 5 Este lugar es lindo. Un poco oscuro Los camareros son buenos. Y con muchos grupos de mujeres, el ambiente es bueno. La comida no es tan buena. Simplemente mejorando eso aumentaría mis estrellas. Volvería ya que lo sin fondo era bueno!

Celebré mi 30 cumpleaños y tuve una gran noche. El personal fue muy servicial y complaciente. El lugar era encantador, buena música (rnb / pop) y la comida era bastante buena teniendo en cuenta el precio (bastante barato para un lugar como este en Islington). Sin embargo, tengo 2 quejas, una es la falta de aire acondicionado. Le pregunté específicamente sobre el aire acondicionado antes de reservar, ya que aprendí de cumpleaños anteriores y me prometieron que estará allí. ¡Pude ver la unidad pero no estaba encendida y preguntamos varias veces y no impactó a todos bailando ya que estaba hirviendo! Otro problema fueron los porteros, fueron muy groseros con mi familia y eso fue innecesario a pesar de quejarse con el gerente que no hizo nada. Contratamos el salón de baile a última hora para la fiesta de verano de nuestra oficina. Nadine fue excelente para ayudarme a organizarlo y explicarme todo. Fueron muy flexibles con nuestros diversos requisitos dietéticos y también con la forma en que pagamos por el evento, pudieron adaptarse a nuestros procesos, lo que significó que pudimos seguir adelante con el evento. Me había preocupado que la comida no fuera suficiente para todos, pero definitivamente lo era, todos pensaban que la comida era deliciosa. El personal de la noche fue muy servicial e hizo todo lo posible para asegurarse de que nuestra noche fuera bien y todos se divirtieron y esto fue definitivamente notado y apreciado entre el personal. Todos dijeron que la pasaron de maravilla y les encantó el lugar y la comida, no puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente.

Reservamos la sala de la biblioteca para una despedida de soltera sorpresa. Nos sentimos decepcionados y no lo recomendaríamos. Lo bueno: es un espacio muy flexible, puede poner su propia música, empresas externas pueden entrar en la habitación, puede llegar temprano y decorar la habitación (siempre que no ponga nada en las paredes) y el menú. es bueno. Lo malo: tendrá que decorar la habitación, ya que es mucho más ruidoso de lo que parece en las fotos en el sitio web o en el folleto. No te dejes engañar pensando que se ve "shabby chic", de cerca se ve viejo, desgastado y cansado. Las mesas tampoco tenían nada en ellas como las fotos (ni flores, ni velas, ni candelabros). Además, si contrata la sala para el día, tendrá un barman asignado en la sala que estará allí todo el día. El nuestro solo habló cuando se le habló, no tenía ninguna iniciativa, parecía que no quería estar allí la mayor parte del día y recibió las órdenes incorrectamente: ¡una orden llegó cuando todos los demás casi habían terminado de comer! Además, no se le da un "punto de contacto" a lo largo del día para abordar cualquier problema o quién se registra para ver si todo va bien. Creo que esto debería ser estándar si reservas una habitación en un lugar durante todo el día. Tan flexible como era la habitación, no tenía el factor sorpresa para una fiesta sorpresa y no volveríamos a reservar. If you are looking for an intimate venue for your wedding meal in this area then I can 100% recommend this place. Private room with bar (up a few flights of stairs so take that into consideration) Food was absolutely fantastic and well presented. Set-up of the Room was first class. Well stocked bar and friendly proficient staff. The young girl who tended the bar was a real credit to the establishment,unflappable, good skills and a friendly demeanour. Served us sambucas all night with a smile on her face. All in all an excellent day all round Thanks to all staff

I have to admit that it was the name that attracted me. We had been attending a workshop in Islington and we wanted somewhere for lunch. A little darker than the average lunchtime venue but the food and service was great. Recommend

I booked the drawing room for a 30th birthday 3 course dinner and was a bit disappointed. It was for 24 people so between us we spent a pretty penny. With that in mind it was disappointed to be presented with (amongst 2 other things..) some cut up beetroot balls for a starter, and the pudding wasn’t great with 2 tiny blocks of quite stale brownie.. For £39.20 a head with no booze included it wasn’t the meal to shout about I did expect more by the description on the menu. I found the staff helpful on setting up but the ones attending dinner seemed to be rushing us by taking away plates before we’d finished. There was no WiFi or help to get a connection to play some music and the price of a basic house wine was very expensive. Overall-couldn’t help but feel a bit fobbed off as we weren’t a wedding party. It was a good room for what we needed but disappointed with food and overall attentiveness.

We hired the Ballroom (max 80 people) for our engagement party and the Dead Dolls House was absolutely fantastic. The service beforehand and on the night was great and the food got compliments all night as there were healthy vege options available. The venue had a lower minimum spend than other places which was a factor in choosing them. Gorgeous brick walls and just the right space and decorations. Would use again in a heartbeat.

I booked The Dead Dolls House for my 30th birthday party and I couldn’t have been happier with the venue. I highly recommend them for party planning. Emily and her team were incredibly helpful, very laid back but completely efficient! Special thanks much go to the lady who was behind our bar all night. Foo was delicious, service was excellent, hosts were really friendly and all of my friends had a fantastic time. The space is really cool and fun, and the package is incredible value for London. Visited today with friends for brunch. The place has a quirky vibe and is a bit darker than your average lunch place, but the service was fabulous! We felt really properly looked after, and the staff were a delight! I also thought the avocado on toast was delicious (perfectly poached eggs) and really good value for a London eatery. Lovely stuff.

We came last Christmas and had the best time so came back this year. Unfortunately this year was a massive disappointment and we won't be returning. We had the bottomless mimosas however these were 99% orange juice and didn't taste right. We paid more to change to bottomless prosecco however we were given chardonnay... we decided to pay and leave and so won't be going back. If you like chardonnay it may well be up your street however bottomless prosecco was mis sold.

I booked the library for our work Christmas party. It's advertised for up to 20 people, but it was a perfect size for the 12 of us. It would still be comfortable for 14. You have your own bar in the room which made all the difference considering the drinks orders were constant and the regular bar was downstairs. Jack, our bartender, was the absolute dream. The food was really good, served banqueting feast style which added to the fun, chilled vibe. The salmon starter, venison main and roasties were particular highlights. The DDH team were efficient and helpful when planning, the only downside was a very small table to have drinks at upon arrival, but we were only there a short while as they got our room ready for us early - an added bonus. LOVED IT! Thank you for making our day so brilliant!

Was there for brunch: overpriced, small, carelessly prepared food served by uninterested staff at exacherated prices. Good Friday turned out to not be so great. Unlikely to come back ever.

Went to Dead Doll's house for brunch with my Mother a few weeks ago and they were too full to accommodate us. Rather than telling us they were too full, the young lady at front of house was rude and sarcastic to us. I think w even got an eye roll from her, which luckily we found funny.

Visited here on a Saturday for a friends bday. Didn't massively know what to expect to be honest. I had a brief look on the website beforehand and it came across very grand and upmarket.

I've had better food at far cheaper prices than the Dead Dolls House, however I felt that the ambience in the restaurant was very nice, and they had a wide variety of interesting cocktails to try. The veggie burger was a tad bland but not awful, and everyone else seemed to thoroughly enjoy their meals.

Place looked nice enough, but in a mostly-empty restaurant (earlyish in the evening) what terrible service! The maitre d is a waffler who promises the moon and then faffs about endlessly before getting anything done, it takes ages to be able to put an order in and then even longer for the food to come (and yes I know the food needs to be cooked, but there are limits), it's all very annoying for a place that sets itself up as something special. Even the decor, which they are so proud of (sharpie'd drawings on the walls and bar) is not all that - it may look terribly glam at midnight when the place is heaving and you are all drunk, for all I know, but for an early dinner it just looks a bit ordinary and cold. Avoid.

Visited on a busy Sunday afternoon (make reservations), menu wasn't packed with brunch items or dishes. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the fantastic quality of the food and the good value for money .

My party was a total success! I booked one of the rooms for 50 people and It was lovely, with candles everywhere and a barmaid always ready to create the best cocktails! All the guests were really pleased as the location is easy to access with Highbury & Islington station nearby. I recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to stress and just enjoy their party! Tuvimos nuestra boda aquí en 17 de junio - Emily cuidó brillantemente tanto antes, durante y después del evento. La habitación era increíble, y la comida era fabulosa. Visitamos por brunch sin límite, y aunque la comida estaba bastante buena, la atención al cliente fue muy decepcionante. Tomó un número de intentos para conseguir una reserva, y finalmente nos ofreció una ranura de cancelación, así que cuando llegamos era confuso para encontrar el restaurante vacío para la mitad de todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí (cuando supuestamente tan ocupados). El camarero que nos recibió en la puerta que no se molestaron en enseñarnos a nuestra mesa, señalando arriba y luego tuvimos que esperar unos 10 minutos para llegar al menú cuando no eran exactamente ocupado. No son tampoco el loos bueno - son unisex que nunca está genial (y compartido también lavar la zona de lavabo lavabos son) además de la rara y que inclinarse hacia adelante un largo camino para lavarse las manos.

La decoración es tipo o excéntrico art deco - ¡es fabuloso! Es un bar y restaurante y habitaciones separadas para alquilar para cenas privadas. Ideal para bodas o cumpleaños y aniversarios. El personal es estupendo, enfocadas en el cliente, eficiente y amable. La comida no va a establecer mundo en fuego, pero era muy buena y el uso de ingredientes de calidad notable. Ambiente animado.

We are very grateful for such an exceptional support during our preparation for civil ceremony reception. We had our reception booked in May 2017. We were looking for a place where we can invite our guests after the ceremony for a nice meal and music in a convenient location. The Dead Dolls House was just across the road from the Town Hall. All staff and management were very helpful from the day one. We have managed to discuss and confirm all details over the phone, then we were invited to come and see the venue. We felt very welcome on the arrival. The staff and management made sure that all our questions were answered. We were accommodated in the Ballroom on the top floor, despite the fact that our request was a last minute booking. We must admit, we received a very professional service. We did not have to worry about the layout of the room, decorations or lighting as the staff ensured that everything was ready for us on the day just the way we discussed beforehand. Food was delicious. We had a chance to choose our menu. Guests had a chance to use the bar that was available throughout the reception. The atmosphere was amazing. We had everything in one place. After dinner, we were able to celebrate the rest of the evening on the dance floor. If we had to organise the reception again, we would definitely choose the Dead Dolls House. Thank you very much to all staff and management for your support and time. We had a great time!

Elegimos la casa de muñecas de muerto para nuestra boda este octubre, su ubicación es perfecta para una boda en el ayuntamiento. Este lugar es hermoso y apenas necesita alguna decoración, pasamos un tiempo increíble aquí y todo el mundo hablaba de cómo es la calidad de la comida era. Mi (ahora! Mi marido y yo) Daniel Doll's eligió el muerto en boda en agosto de 2017. Queríamos un lugar que era peculiar pero elegante y que proporcionaría el catering para nosotros. También queríamos un sitio que fue fácil para nuestros clientes. Realmente tuvimos suerte - casa los muertos doll está céntricamente situado y tiene cuatro habitaciones que tienen rienda suelta para decorar o usar como quieras. We had a very small wedding and wanted a low-key, yet stylish wedding reception. The Dead Dolls House was an excellent choice. Not only is it perfectly located for an Islington Town Hall Wedding, it is also a beautiful venue. The team were very accommodating, happy to sort out any specific requests and favours. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and super helpful staff. Thanks to a great team and fab venue!

El servicio era estupendo y sólo tengo cosas buenas que decir. Sin duda, recomendado para una noche peculiar, moderno y divertido.

Yo organizado recientemente la fiesta de Navidad de mi oficina y alquilamos el salón de baile en la planta superior. We recently threw my cousin a surprise baby shower at The Dead Dolls House and it was perfect! Not only did she have a wonderful surprise and a lovely day but the Dolls House itself was amazing! From the moment I got into contact with Emily, organising the party was so easy. Emily was very helpful and answered any questions or requests I had in good time! The staff were great and very helpful and the food and drink that was preordered went down wonderfully with all the guests. Everyone loved the room we had and all said they would be back. Big thanks to everyone there and I'll see you again one day soon for Brunch :)

Had this bottomless brunch through timeout and were a little worried by the reviews. Thankfully it seems the place took the feedback on onboard and we had a lovely time! Quick service, very good food, in decent portions, all served quickly! Thank you!

Este es un gran lugar para celebrar una reunión de negocios. Emily era genial por ayudarme a organizar una reunión exitosa y mantener a mi presupuesto. El lugar cuenta con instalaciones para reuniones de negocios, tales como proyectores y grandes habitaciones privadas. La comida es excelente y nada era demasiado problema. No puedo esperar a volver a reservar. El servicio era impecable y todos mis clientes de negocios estaban muy impresionados.

Reservamos el baile para nuestro trabajo fiesta de Navidad el 29 de noviembre de 2017. No sabíamos qué esperar, pero era muy sorprendidos cuando llegamos la habitación estaba decorada en todas adornos de Navidad con galletitas saladas y luces, era de muy buen gusto. Teníamos nuestro propio bar y el barman, que era muy servicial con ayudarnos a escoger la bebida, todo el personal era muy amable y profesional. Que era un grupo de 26 personas con algunas de más tarde que todos los demás personal era muy comprensible con nosotros tener que mover la cena para más tarde debido a la llegada tarde que hizo la noche más agradable para nosotros. Nos organizaron para Karaoke instalada para la noche y el lugar tratado esta en nuestro nombre, que era muy servicial. No hay petición demasiado para el lugar. La comida era buena, era servir de estilo que no era del gusto de todos pero el lugar hizo para la comida.

My friend and I had Timeout vouchers for a 'bottomless brunch'. We were really looking forward to trying out this restaurant but should have read the reviews!!! We were seated in the corner next to a really rowdy table (doing shots and dancing on the table). I don't usually mind this but it was so loud we could barely hear each other! When the food arrived it was cold - the waitress sent it back to the kitchen but the replacement food was also cold... we were both really hungry and too embarrassed to complain again so we ate it. The portions were tiny and the food was bland. I asked the waitress for some salt and pepper and she gave me an empty pepper pot and then brought over the salt after we had finished eating! Really really disappointing. The staff did not seem to know what was going on - there did not seem to be any communication between them.

We were a large group having the weekend bottomless brunch menu. We’d pre-selected our food but the kitchen made a mistake and the wrong dishes were brought out.

Definitely the worst bottomless brunch I have been to by a long shot.

To put it simply; this is the very worst bottomless brunch bar I have attended.

read the bad comments here thendecide,the owner keeps saying the same thing,like an automation,it was a typical boozer once but the yups get hold of places and mess them up big time,basically these places become i wish i had a restaurant type things,illbe honest with you islington high street is a mire of eateries so find a trad pub drink there, jdw's would be better than this if they had decent managers, but anyway try it, see what youthink,you may not thinklike me

The Dolls House hosted our wedding reception in September - we hired the Ballroom and had around 50 guests. Emily was really helpful and responsive while we were planning the event and her team were great on the day and made sure that everything went smoothly. Food and drinks were first rate and DDH were very accommodating in relation to various allergies and dietary requirements too, which was greatly appreciated The location is perfect for weddings at Islington Town Hall and we thought they were very competitive on price too. We had a great time and have had lots of positive feedback from our guests - wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue.

Arrived around 19:30 and managed to grab a table for the 4 of us quickly (no booking reservation). Once the waiter arrived to take our drinks order, we were told that there were no draught beers available despite having a good selection. Only half pint bottles / cans which works out at over £7 a pint and very little variety (only one pale ale / IPA). Not the greatest start. Once we received the drinks, we waited to place the food order. Over 20 minutes later, no waiter returned, eventually we sent somebody to the bar. Again, not a great start.

I ordered the cornbread pancake with beetroot cured salmon, poach eggs and my friend ordered waffle with fried chicken and balcon. While the pancake was tasteless and non spongy, the waffle was like being soaked in syrup/sugar. Bad bad bad bad food.

We prebooked a private dining room (Drawing Room) for a hen do on saturday 9th September. The space is lovely and bright and not too hot or cold.

I don't like chicken wings usually but Timeout had a deal for chicken wings and a cocktail at dead dolls house. I went and they were honestly phenomenal. I would go back just for the chicken wings - the other food wasn't as good and the cocktails were average. But the chicken wings...

Organicé una sorpresa el 30 de fiesta para 20 personas en la sala de biblioteca. Fue excelente, tuvimos un camarero que cuidó de nosotros, todo el mundo (especialmente comida bandejas disfrutamos alitas de pollo). el ambiente perfecto. Emily ayudó a organizar todos los detalles pequeños. Lo recomiendo para fiestas grupo, especialmente que, con una gran relación calidad-precio y el servicio es excelente.

We had the boozy brunch. The burgers were average but not bad. They forgot one girls food so she had to wait 15 minutes. The mimosas were basically orange juice.
