Much better than it needs to be, given the location. Cool staff, edible food, good beer, pub atmosphere and plenty of seating. Not a destination I would travel for; but certainly somewhere I would go if I was thirsty with friends in KingsX.

I liked it here. The service was very friendly and polite, its was a VERY busy day that we went and whilst there were only 2 bar staff, both did a great job and if they couldn’t get to you quickly they let you know they were coming. The burgers were great and everyone liked them, the fries were OK but quite hard and small/inconsistent portions, we also had quite a fiddly order due to allergies but they got it all right. I did think the food was quite expensive for what it was though. Drinks options are excellent there. Good atmosphere and nice decor, it would definitely be better on a quieter day and I would go back there as they did well with the volume of people they had so I know it would be better in quieter times.

2 bar staff 1 organising glasses who spent more time chatting between them than serving, no urgency . I waited 15 min to get served my first drink then got sprayed with the mixer tap all over my hair & clothes barman thought it was funny I didn’t . It was chaos . We booked a table no idea as to who to ask . They then started to pull together tables for our booking not prepared . Steak was ok chips soggy in oil and not sure why garlic covered . You have to pay at the bar for food no server service . Friend had her bag stolen with laptop in it . Would not go again .

Great food in an easy to find location. Not cheap, but that's London in 2024/25. They struggled to find my reservation - but we got there. Also, I asked for a quiet table and they stuck me under the main speaker 😂... mentioned it to the charming lady working upstairs and she happily dropped the volume. Overall, great place to get a bite of your group can't all agree on the type of food you want.

We googled bars near me, and found The Fellow. We usually end up in The Parcel Yard whilst waiting for our train home, so were keen to try somewhere new. What a find, fabulous bar, friendly and welcoming staff. Aspalls on draft, always a win! Mulled Aspalls Cider, my first of the season, and delicious food. We meant to take a photo but it was gone very quickly, Fish and chips, and Sausage and Mash...(see menu attached for full description). Would definitely recommend, dog friendly, we hadnt brought our dog, but that tells me they're good people! There is also a roof terrace (Black Door Bar). We will definitely be back.

Disappointed with the food but atmosphere was cheerful enough. Booked Sunday lunch at 2pm but mains came out fast and seemed reheated. Seitan Wellington was a thin slice of what could have been a really processed veggie sausage roll. Beef wasnt up to much either. Extra gravy offered was nice but experience of deserts was pretty awful. Doughnut sliders were pale and seemed recently defrosted. Chocolate mousse has separated, uncooked. The waiter was doing his best and offered an alternative desert but it took about 45 mins to appear. Maybe the chef was hungover or off that day? It can't really be the best rated Sunday pub food in the area based on what we had. Location was really handy but value for money, nope. Might go again for glass of wine or a pint though.

The staff are really friendly and helpful BUT the roast dinner has got to be one of the absolute worst I've ever had. Two incredibly thin slices of grey meat, rock hard potatoes, a teaspoon of cabbage, a spoon of "pureed cauliflower" (which instantly disappeared into the gravy) and a giant but sadly completely unseasoned Yorkshire pudding. And it costs £24 (plus service)! Avoid.

Good option for food or a drink near Kings Cross/St. Pancras. We visited for an early dinner while spending a night near the train station and were thrilled with the food, though it was extremely busy on a Saturday night and the staff seemed to be stretched a little thin. Still, the sausages and mash was one of my favorite meals of our 9-day trip to Europe, so it was worth the visit!

Fantastic service and food every time I have visited. There are new menu items that have taken the offering to a new level. I’ve tried the pulled beef sandwich, which is the best I’ve had in London. The baked maple camembert and beef short rib pastry are simply delectable. Super cold and creamy pints of Guinness (which is a must for any pub in my opinion). Always warm and friendly in the establishment, and they even welcome dogs at all times of the day. A true Kings Cross gem

A great pit stop for lunch, right outside King's Cross St Pancras. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy, full of locals and tourists like ourselves. The beer selection is great, although I was slightly disappointed that they had none of their cask ales available at the time (that was a one off, as I'm sure it was fixed soon). I had the smash burger, which was so good. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and dealt well with any issues or queries that came up. Really poor service - I was one of several customers left waiting ignored at the bar, while it took 4 staff running around like headless chickens to try and resolve what looked like a refund issue. The staff serving were unwilling to even look at customers - they had no idea of who was next in line - and customers including myself were simply ignored while others were served as soon as they arrived at the bar. Really poor hospitality experience unfortunately. It's a nice enough pub and conveniently located close to Kings X - but owners and management need to sort out staff training and take some ownership.

Because of the good feedbacks here I wanted to try the Pub for a Sunday Roast. They served this all day so I went at Sunday evening. The Beef Sunday Roast was disappointed. Another meal out and once again, another disappointment that I need to warn others to avoid. Ordered two roasts on a very quiet Sunday early evening. 3 members of staff working hard behind the bar and doing the best they could. Front of House/Restaurant had two scruffy, badly attired female senior members of staff sat opposite the hot pass, drinking wine and cider doing 'work' on the laptop and not paying any attentive care to customers. The two individuals in question were clearly doing their best to make a song and dance of showing how hard they were working together despite seemingly doing very little apart from drinking and scrolling endlessly on their phones. In short the two of them looked like unprofessional slobs more suited to being sat together on a dirty old sofa together at home. The food itself was put under the hot pass and the chef rang no less than 3 times for service. He was ignored and attempted to serve us himself. Eventually one of the two picked up and brought our food over, having had a shoulder massage from another member of staff and kept us waiting further. Yorkshire puddings were like sandpaper, the veg undercooked and the meat chewy. All in all a poor experience. Don't waste your money, the venue and management seem to think public service/hospitality is all a big game and are more interested in themselves. I'll be contacting their regional management for an explanation or for training to be given to the two ladies in question. Totally unacceptable and not appreciated by paying members of the public. Bottom line - Focus on your customers and duty of care NOT yourselves and your egos!

First off, I only ever give completely honest reviews as I feel it's important for future customers and for proprietors. We booked a table for eight. Great pub in a great location. Big screens, good atmosphere and decent beers. Food left a lot to be desired. Two friends ordered beef roast. One didn't really touch his, "like trying to eat a trainer". The other persevered and got food poisoning for the rest of the day/night. His wife called the next day, no agenda, just to let them know and was told it couldn't be their food because the dish didn't contain dairy. Weird because either way he doesn't have a dairy intolerance. Manager asked if he'd eaten anything else that day. He hadn't. The rest of our meals were 'ok'. The chicken was moist and hot. The Yorkshires, whilst impressive looking, were dry as anything and like trying to eat crisp breads. Roast potatoes were rock hard and impenetrable, even with a serated knife. Rest of the veg was ok. Probably spent £200 on food and another £100 at the bar. All in all, a good pub to meet with friends for drinks, just maybe give the food a swerve.

We really enjoyed the fish and chips here. Best I have ever eaten and the tartar needs to be bottled and sold!! Easy to get to, being across the street from Kings Cross and St. Pancras plus the staff were delightful!! 10/10 for us!

Not only is it a great place for live sports but the Scotch Eggs are amazing. I'd waive a round of drinks just for the Scotch Eggs.

I took a visit to the fellow for drinks after work where I was very warmly welcomed by Hayden, his customer service skills were outstanding and he was so speedy with getting our drinks. Would definitely recommend The Fellow to anyone passing through the area. Thankyou Hayden for such a pleasant experience within the pub

My family and I are on holiday from Perth, Western Australia and we stumbled across this wonderful establishment on the way back from the local train station. The food, atmosphere and customer service were just amazing! Such friendly, welcoming staff, especially Serena, who has the most amazing laugh I've ever heard. She made my 10 year old son a couple of raspberry cordials which I believe is not on the menu and just made us feel so welcome. The same goes for the rest of the staff - everyone is smiling and happy. The food was lovely too. The whole combination of the above deserves the highest of praise and there are many places in Perth that could learn a thing or two about the high level customer engagement at The Crown Tavern. We found our local!

A good place to watch an Arsenal match and have some good pub food. The atmosphere in the bar for the game was lively. Reservations are available and recommended on the weekend, especially for match days. The Sunday roast was generous and tasty, available to order in both the restaurant and bar. There was an issue with our booking but the staff were really apologetic and accommodating, trying their best on a busy match afternoon to find us a suitable table.
