The best restaurants serving British food in Clerkenwell Islington London

Every time I've visited the customer service has been great. The first two times, the food was decent, but there was nothing to write home about. The third time, it was far better. The manager at the King's Cross Branch was really nice and helpful with my allergies and went out of her way to check the ingredients on the cheese for me.

What an afternoon! Lenka looked after us from start to finish and it was just the celebration we were expecting. The food was fantastic and we were never short of a drink; we will be back!

Affordable price,and just a great atmosphere

Literally the worst pub I have been to in London. The woman behind the bar could not have been less welcoming, friendly or helpful. All I wanted was a glass of wine but it all seemed too much trouble for her. Just had a tonic water in the end. Meanwhile her colleague made me feel like I was in the way because I was standing at the bar with a rucksack on my back. My partner went to the loo and there was no lock on the door. We couldn’t wait to get out of there but I feel dispirited that this is a tourist destination and I hate to think that visitors think that this is what British hospitality is like as there are so many better places.

Compramos 1 macchiato (1,40 ), 1 croissant y 1 americano blanco (1,80 ). Allí estaba la oferta "café+croissant= £3". El chico se cargará directamente en lugar de £4,80 € 4,40 . Cuando le preguntamos a explicar, que se convirtió en defensiva y dio respuestas evasivas. Y además, debemos decir que (1) el croissant no era fresco, (2) el americano no es blanca y (3) de calidad de café muy pobre. Nunca volveremos!

Visité The Coach recientemente para un Sunday Roast, y aunque el servicio era sólido, el resto de la experiencia desafortunadamente no lo fue. El asado en sí puede describirse mejor como "bien", con un precio significativo (y yo diría, injustificado) para arrancar. Usando una escala 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5: Servicio: 5 / 5 Alimentos: 2 / 5 Precio: 1 / 5

Llegamos a tomar una copa y un aperitivo después de visitar el teatro y quedamos muy decepcionados. Si bien el lugar era encantador, el tiempo que pasaba esperando una pequeña porción de chips era ridículo. 4 por unos 12 chips pequeños fue muy decepcionante. Cuando preguntamos si la pequeña porción era normal, simplemente nos dijeron "sí". No volveremos de nuevo!

Disfrutamos el almuerzo asequible en un parque cercano. Muy popular, tienen ubicaciones en toda la ciudad.

We went to this cafe last Saturday - and as it was so hot we thought we would try a couple of salads... They do one hot meal, apparently, which we did not fancy - but had advertised Roast Salmon, which when i enquired whether that was hot, was told it was in the fridge. i ordered a portion to share with my partner who after eating half on the bagel felt ill, and indeed had to rush to the toilet after eating most of his food to throw up!!!! I wonder how long it had been kept in the fridge in this heatwave? I therefore did not risk eating it, and when i told the chap who had produced this, he just shrugged his shoulders??? I SO regret not taking any photos! i shall not visit this place again, and have advised friends NOT to risk going to this place.
