The best restaurants serving British food in Holborn and Covent Garden Camden London

I've always struggled to find haggis in London (for what may be obvious reasons). So I was thrilled to stumble across Makars Gourmet Mash bar which combines two of my favorite foods: haggis and mashed potatoes. And I was not disappointed! The service was fantastic, the meal came out fast and hot, and I loved every bite. Paired with a rhubarb soda that hit the spot. Will make sure I return when I come back to London.

Servicio amable, divertido y atento, conocedor de todos y cada uno de sus 120 cócteles elegantemente elaborados! Ingredientes de alta calidad con muchos elementos hechos a mano en casa, realmente puede probar la calidad y la artesanía. El bar y el ambiente es hermoso, ya estamos planeando una visita de regreso y no puedo esperar a probar el nivel 8 en la margarita picante! Sin duda ahora uno de mis mejores lugares para ir en Londres!

I met friends here for coffee and then a sandwich. Both coffees and sandwiches were excellent quality and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had a cup of Double Espresso from this lovely coffee stand. It was great and woke me up after my sleepy haircut session. The price was reasonable at 1.80 GBP.

Excellent sandwiches for a London standard. If you are around Holborn and want a quick bite, this is the place to go. I'd love they offer outside seating.

Burgers taste really good, really liked the special onion they made. The portion was a bit small.

We were visiting and really enjoyed our experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert!

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner avec 4 enfants dont 1 bébé. Personnel aux petits soins et très agréable , service très rapide. C'était très bon, tarif correct.

I chose this place because it is located in the beautiful Rosewood Hotel and I thought it would be amazing. Dont get me wrong, its good but nothing that knocked me out as I was expecting. Nice setting and good service. Great selection of teas and limited quantity of sandwiches but they offer to refill if needed. They had a nice touch because they brought me a special little B’day cake (my birthday was 2 days before and they ask for your date of birth when booking, I didnt specify it). Maybe I will try to hace some traditional ones like Lemon Drizzle, Battenburg Cake, Victoria Sponge, Bakewell tart or my favourite Golden Syrup Pudding. A mixture of traditional and new would be more balanced. The best for me were the scones and jam…really well made, delicious jam, clotted cream and lemon curd. A bit small but one of the best I have tried so far. The hotel is so beautiful that it is 100% worth going and I loved my experience but I wouldnt go back again because of how much chocolate they use.

Vino a tomar un helado y un batido. Milkshake fue excelente, el mejor que he tenido desde siempre. Servicios era amable y servicial.

It’s small but inspiring place for quick bite, the atmosphere is lovely and the customer service pleasant! I would like to be able explore all the other delicacies they have.

The portions were more than generous. The meat was tender and juicy. Veggies were great. And the Yorkshire pudding was perfect. Love this place.

Este es un buen café para llevar que almuerza a precios realmente baratos. Prepara una variedad de sándwiches y ensaladas, todos preparados, sopas y otros refrigerios, pero lo mejor son los platos calientes, que son una buena ganga. Su chile con carne con arroz es solo 4. 50 por una cajita llena de comida. No conozco ningún lugar de Londres que haga algo así a un precio más bajo, y el chile es realmente sabroso. Otros platos pueden ser un poco más. Y, el chile y algunos de sus otros platos no contienen gluten, por lo que es ideal para mí. Four Northerners in London got a delicious Chippy Tea and a cracking cup of tea from these lovely people. The decor is lovely, the place was clean, the staff are so friendly and most importantly - big portions at a sensible price
