The best restaurants serving British food in London

Visited many times and is great value for money. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is never greasy & always fresh. I have worked my way through the menu and am always pleased with the selection offered. Great for families too, Large & small tables as required. I highly recommend a visit, you will never be disappointed.

Han utilizado este café durante años y todavía lo hacen, a menudo a diario para comer o llevar. La comida siempre es buena y abundante y el personal es educado y agradable. Probablemente he probado aproximadamente 2/3 del menú en mi tiempo, sin quejas en absoluto. Puede hacer su pedido por teléfono directamente o a través de los servicios de entrega habituales. El café parece estar siempre ocupado, lo que es una buena señal y las mesas se limpian rápidamente una vez desalojado. Recomiendo encarecidamente este café.

Tuve el cumpleaños más especial y siempre me ha encantado este bar, uno de mis favoritos en el norte de Londres! El lugar es tan encantador, cócteles y comida son increíbles. Amablemente me reservaron 4 mesas y una zona (por una pequeña cuota) y el DJ entró a las 8 : ¡30 años, mi rnb favorito y mezcla de alma! Mis amigos, familia y yo tuvimos el mejor tiempo de la historia y el personal nos trató tan bien. Muchas gracias a todos XXX

We swerved hotel breakfast and opted to visit this traditional looking Italian cafe, what a fantastic find! The food on display for the lunch crowd looked fresh and appealing however we opted to have the cooked breakfast as it was before 10am. Fresh, great tasting coffee, choice of bread for toast and then a generous serving of breakfast with the most amazing Italian sausages too. This was a filling meal and was great value, cooked to order and with friendly service. The cafe is COVID compliant and felt well looked after. I will definitely go back when I am in the area again. My teenage daughter really enjoyed her breakfast too.

We went for a Thursday lunch at Taste and enjoyed it so much. The dishes were all excellent - variations on classics perhaps that are important for the students to master, but very far from the usual highstreet menus, which made a great change. Plus, excellent selection reasonably priced wines by the glass. Service was very attentive. Overall very good value, and lovely to feel that you are supporting in a small way the trainees, while at the same time having such a lovely meal!

Lovely cosy coffee shop with the friendliest staff. There is a nice mix of traditional English and Mediterranean food. I like the large outdoor seating (when the English weather permits) but am equally happy indoors listening to the regulars chat to the staff. It is a sign of how good a place is by the attendance of so many regulars.

The variety of international street food options creates a delightful blend, set within a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. It's great value for the quality offered. Don't miss out on the must-try Malaysia laksa and tantalizing Thai dishes!

Visited honeybees to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We had a lovely afternoon tea, the cakes were so good! Staff were friendly and we had good service. I would certainly recommend.

Stumbled across this place next to the opticians and needed to kill time. Only popped in for a drink and was greeted by lovely staff who offered a broad range of drinks including smoothies and milkshakes and special lattes. The lady recommended a milkshake and I chose the pineapple milkshake. Sounds like an odd choice but this was the best milkshake I’ve ever had. It was perfectly creamy and icy and the pineapple almost made it taste like caramel or something from my childhood. If I could drink this every day for dessert I would. I hope they are open the next time I find myself in the area

A really enjoyable meal. The restaurant is very small but this enables the one front of house staff member to be fully hands on and attentive without being overbearing. The set menu was excellent with each dish very carefully prepared and well presented and great care was taken to ensure that our gluten free member was catered for accordingly.Two of our group had the pairing wines which were well chosen and presented with a most knowledgeable verbal description. My only gripe is the fact that alongside certain of the set menu courses you are offered additional items to supplement your meal and which inevitably leaves one to question at the outset whether the menu offers sufficient food ( it does!) I do believe therefore that a set menu should be precisely that albeit of course you can offer alternatives for one or more of the courses.

Lo que hace que el bar 109 sea realmente fabuloso es la atención del personal, tienen el equilibrio perfecto entre asegurarse de tener todo lo que necesita sin sentirse apresurado. Vengo a este bar / cafetería 2 - 3 veces a la semana para trabajar en paz y nunca me voy decepcionado. Equipo de felicitaciones! Lo tienes abajo. ??

Lo que fue un espectáculo increíble fue como si lo disfrutara porque es un momento en el que mi historia se fue con mi hija, ya que ella es una profesora de historia. Decir que me sentí abrumado es una subestimación. Fue un espectáculo increíble, altamente recomendado.

He tenido estas un par de veces en el VCO, excelente comida. Desearía que hicieran cosas así donde vivimos. Esperando viajar a Londres pronto para probarlos de nuevo. El crepitar está tan bien hecho que está lleno de sabor. No puedo recomendar su comida lo suficiente.

Proper food here. We had breakfasts - huge. Looks good selection of British and Romanian mains too, all home cooked and reasonably priced Best to use local businesses like this than give your hard earned to chain estabilishments.
