Lovely cosy coffee shop with the friendliest staff. There is a nice mix of traditional English and Mediterranean food. I like the large outdoor seating (when the English weather permits) but am equally happy indoors listening to the regulars chat to the staff. It is a sign of how good a place is by the attendance of so many regulars.

Last night, my friend and I had an exceptional dinner at Cafe Verde when we heard they started serving dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. The cosy ambience and impeccable service set the stage for an unforgettable experience. We indulged in seabass and creamy chicken, both bursting with flavour. The attentive staff and bring-your-own wine scheme elevated our evening. Cafe Verde is a must-visit for anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience.

My daughter recommended this restaurant to me and I finally managed to visit at lunchtime. Excellent full English breakfast, good service and friendly staff. What more can I say, I will be back!

We eat Sunday breakfast here as often as we can. Owners serve you with their helpful team the most delicious English breakfast in Teddington. I eat Verde Breakfast and my ‘greedy’ partner the full English, our kids often have the bacon baguettes and always the berry smoothly. Dog friendly and staff always welcome them (and give them a few treats). Highly recommended!

A really good choice on their menu, lots of different combinations covered. It seemed to be mostly full of locals in their lunch breaks and some setup with their laptops plugged in “working from home”. Dogs also allowed inside not just at the outside tables.

Avoid if you want to stay safe, no food hygiene at all in this cafe, the waiter, which I believe is the owner of the place, kept touching our food without gloves, I am not sure when was the last time he washed his hands, the breakfast came in small ramekins inside the large plate , our food and bread were put inside the large plate, I checked the back of the ramekins and they were filthy touching our food. The last thing we need now is food poisining, we will never go back.

Popped in on a Saturday afternoon - before they closed at 4pm. Friendly staff and good food. Hot chocolate and coffee v good. Also enjoyed a 'small' breakfast and carrot cake. This place is spotless and the interior is good fun. Particularly liked the lighting.

I love good carrot cake - moist, full of flavor and with a lush and creamy frosting - and Cafe Verde makes one of the best I have ever had. Absolutely worth the trip. Add to that a warm welcome, good coffee and you'd be a fool not to give it a try.

This is a lovely spot for breakfast or brunch, offering a good selection of hot and cold food. There is plenty of healthy food options available and some for vegetarians/vegans. Good portion sizes and friendly staff. Wifi available and nicely decorated, with seating outside and inside. Only comment is that every time I have been, the coffee has been disappointing. Always tastes very watery and sour, which is a shame.

Cafe Verde has amazing service and the atmosphere is so friendly, as soon as you walk into this shop you feel welcome. On the other hand, their food is outstanding, when you take your first bite you just know there food and drinks are made with love. Also, Cafe Verde is dog friendly so you can bring your dog there for breakfast. Overall, I rate this Cafe 5 stars and if you are travelling in England you should definitely go to Cafe Verde.

The cafe has a charming and cozy athmosphere with friendly staff, perfect for chilly days (they also have outdoor tables & seats for summer). Eggs royale's eggs were perfectly poached and served with tasty muffins. The coffee is also delicious with variety of options including Turkish coffee. Thank you for the great brunch, we will be back soon!

We used to order often food from Batterfly, delivered at home. This time we went to have lunch at the place with my wife (disabled) and our westie. The owner (he was alone) refused us because of our little dog. The room was empty, and our dog under the table could not have done any dammage. However this is not indicated anywhere on the door or restaurant window. No compromise, no kindness, no apologies for the absence of warning. It was clear the guy (the boss, because he said "I decide") did not want us, nor maybe any client today. We won't order anything from him anymore. The food is generally acceptable, but not better than elsewhere.

We really appreciated the welcome , preparation, care and attententiveness shown to our family and guests by Jackson and his staff for my family wake. Jackson was kind, sensitive and thoughtful from the planning right through to the hosting on the day which was reflected by his team too. Many people commented on the welcome , tasty food , and thoughtful service. A special thank you for helping with the music too. We would highly recommend Jackson and the Tapestry to others .

Well, we were here today for a Mothers Day lunch. We’d been a couple of years ago and it’s been decorated since then. It looks much better. We looked at some of the meals been served nearby and they all looked decidedly underwhelming and a bit “ greasy spoon cafe”. So, undeterred we thought we’d play it safe. We just ordered mains. One daughter had the mussels and my wife, myself and our other daughter had the roast chicken. The chicken was really nice but the vegetables were overdone, the Yorkshire pudding was a limp sponge and my roast potatoes looked like boiled ones. Having said all that I did polish everything off and it was quite tasty. Jess said her mussel sauce was a bit bland and the portion was small for a main course. As for the positives: the wine was good, my gluten free beers were great, our cocktails (quite a few of them) were very good and so was my coffee. But everything took an age to come out of the kitchen and one of the blokes bringing it out looked like he’d been sleeping in a duvet in the nearest bus shelter. Our waiter, the only English chap, was excellent but he had to keep apologising for the slow service. For Richmond, the prices were not bad and we actually had a very nice time - but then we are a family that gets on and pretty much always have a good time when we are out. In essence, it’s a good place in some ways but a gastro pub it is not.
