The best restaurants serving British food in Glinton and Wittering Peterborough East of England

We had a wonderful stay overnight and meal to celebrate a birthday here. We had some specific requests and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were very accommodating and helpful and also arranged some extra special touches. The accommodation was fantastic and very clean and tastefully presented. We had breakfast in the cafe that was also very good and again friendly and welcoming. Thank you Naz for all your help and emails.

Muy acogedor y amable personal encantador Un montón de opciones en el menú Bonito ambiente A mi comida le faltaba algo que no estaba seguro de qué Carne en pastel muy tierna y todo casero Venía con patatas fritas! no puré como se ha dicho , parecían ocupados así que no quería molestarlos como lo haría de ment no comer con otros pero estaba bien , digamos que podía cocinar igual y con más sabor pero de lo contrario volvería a intentarlo como cosa en general la comida estaba bien

Missed lunch as a consequence of a disruptive court case so grabbed a ham and cheddar sandwich large packet of Walkers crisps plus a can of San Pellegrino aranciata. But because the Italian drunk was outside the meal deal I had an astonishing bill of £8.10. Not even a paper bag to carry them in. A silk purse might have been more appropriate at that price!

Lovely atmosphere in newly refurbished village pub... equally nice for a coffee & cake or Cocktail/Wines & Beer on tap. New menu is good quality produce..nice pub grub at reasonable prices. Lovely welcoming tenant landlords. Pub has a buzzing friendly atmosphere & it's refresh creates a vibrant, cosy place to be. Lucky to have this pub in the village. Dog friendly too!

Excellent from start to finish. All courses were delicious and well presented. Well priced for the quality. We’ll certainly be returning.

Steak was perfectly cooked. Staff helpful

The food is good. However they have a card machine which is conveniently broken all the time. When you phone through and they lie about the card machine. I dont always have cash and I'm not walking to the post office to get money to then go get food. I will just use an app that also allows me to pay and get something delivered. Must loose alot of custom for something so basic.

I went to this pub for a late night drink with my couple of friends. The pub quite nice inside, however, for the first time living in UK for over 10 years I was racially abused and harassed to leave the pub..of course I left the pub and taxi driver said that this pub one of the biggest racist pub in Peterborough. It’s nothing to do with owners of the pub, but some people there could be more nice for other who just comes for a drink.

Thr attitude to customers from behind the bar needs some serious improvement. A pub is a place to enjoy and socialise and not be on the recieving end of aggressive insulting behaviour
