The best restaurants serving British food in Luton East of England

I wanted to give this a 1 star review but I can't. Upon check in, I fell victim to the whole "key card reader doesn't work" thing. So had to drag all my stuff back down to the bar to get a new room. Room is VERY basic. However the bed.... And sleep was my primary reason for staying.... Oh my god. The bed as a standalone is 5*. Room very very tired but not horrendous, had to go up, back down and up again to get a new room, the sink in the room didn't drain well at all, but the bed itself saves this place. 2* because £112 is ridiculous for effectively a private room in a hostel, and I don't review based on hotel star ratings, I review on price paid. If I'd paid £70 I'd be a way more content and would probably give a 4 or 5 star. Next time I'll drive in the morning though and not stay here. Also - tip - there's no official shuttle bus from the hotel, but the bus stop at the entrance to the hotel costs £1.90 to the airport just search for "Luton Bus A", only a short walk to the airport tbf but if you have a suitcase it's £1.90 well spent. You can also get this bus TO the hotel from Luton Airport Parkway, for the same cost. Also, to save the hotel management for their basic copy and paste response when they don't even attempt to include someone's name, I shall do it for them to save their manager some time to scratch his balls more - ------ Dear Guest, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your recent stay with us. Great food and drinks and exemplary service

Food was average. Ordered and was told 10 mins later it wasn’t available so chose a burger which was served without any lettuce because they ran out…. Service was amazing though as the staff were extremely apologetic and tried their best to fix the issues. One of the nicest Wetherspoons I’ve been to! Lovely aesthetic.

Really nice food. I'm not a fan of carveries but in the first time in a longgg time it was really nice. Staff are lovely and desserts are brilliant. Would recommend 👌

Use to love this place now not so sure last couple of times food served cold and waiting 20mins also no choice running out of food at 6 o'clock not good

Sadly this cafe did not reopen after Covid. A lot of people used to meet up there and there is no similar venue within a mile.

Stayed yesterday for one night in order to get a plane in morning. The initial look of the hotel is positive and the receptionist was helpful. However the people out the front smoking, old guy curled up in the corner-wasn’t sure if rigor mortis had set in as he was still there an hour later, and a couple of hours after that! It all felt a bit ‘shady’ tbh. Asked about the restaurant- madam we don’t have one at the moment? That’s not what the website said. A bar? - madam we don’t have one of them either! Seriously- false advertising. Went to the room and very basic double bed, decor not great but looked clean- I had ordered a twin as with my granddaughter! Went back to reception, old guy still curled up in the corner! Receptionist found a room which had two beds. Rather tatty, shower curtain didn’t fit the shower stall so water just poured out onto the floor! Couldn’t regulate the water- either took your skin off or froze! TV didn’t work. Oh yes camera in the lift with marker pen scribbling out the camera lense! Jesus help us. Lol This morning- old guy in the corner I think was the security guard! Lol 😂 It dawned on me this morning when leaving the hotel that it actually houses homeless people, which isn’t an issue as people need to live somewhere but you should be told this when booking. That’s not being snobby its about choice! This definitely is not a 3 star hotel False advertising and thoroughly disappointing and would not stay here again- sorry 😔

There is no existence in this place, there is no place with this name so do not go for it and do not try to search.
