The best restaurants serving British food in Lincoln East Midlands

Quirky place... something a little different...such a shame they only take card payments... otherwise, we would have stayed longer

We've been using Eskimoo since it opened up in Lincoln. The staff have always been wonderful, kind and interacted well with my kids to make it a special experience. The flavour options are fantastic and I haven't had a bad flavour combo yet! Thank you.

This is not just a fish and chip restaurant but much more. The Christmas menu was exceptional. Especially the smoked salmon. We have eaten here twice in January. Once having the Christmas menu and the second time the every day menu. Both times we had a not overly priced lovely 3 course meal with exceptional service in a very clean welcoming restaurant.

Had a great evening grabbing food and drinks with friends, staff were very attentive and servers were brilliant. Food was delicious too! Great value for money, will be back in the future.

Lovely place nestled by the canal. 20/30 mins walk from Lincoln town centre. Amazing food and lovely accommodation. Facilities - 9/10 all you need in your room and nice and warm Cleanliness - 8.5/10 - very clean Breakfast- 10/10 excellent ingredients and hot. Dinner - 10/10 amazing chicken and Stilton and shin beef Location - 9/10 only not a ten as not suitable for people with walking difficulties if you want to go to town centre Hosts- very friendly and welcoming. Able to park easily and leave car before check in. Stay again ? - we will definitely be back !

I enjoyed my dinner at this pleasant pub.The meal was enjoyable, reasonably priced with good service,which after all is all one can ask.

Staff are very friendly. We both ordered a gourmet 8 oz steak. What can I say steak came without the steak source, when my fiance asked about it they said they didn't know it came with the sauce, even though it says it on the menu. The sauce eventually came even though it was luke warm. The steak was very pink in the middle, which I know some people like, put me off the meal entirely, and yes we had asked for it to be well done. We were offered a dessert, but declined. The staff are lovely, but I feel customer satisfaction isn't listened to properly. I know it was busy, but customer service is everything. Such a shame.

I looked at the picture of their so called award winning fish and chips. Yes it looked excellent so I ordered that for my lunch. OMG when it came it looked like a piece of battered triangle shaped fish from the freezer section. Grey disgusting fish, cold peas and Luke warm chips. Asked for my money back and got it.

The jacket potato was luke warm. The panini came out within minutes of ordering and was soggy and not in the slightest bit toasted. Also the hot drinks, why are they in a paper cup to sit indoors? A real let down to the Castle which was a great experience.
