Had a great evening grabbing food and drinks with friends, staff were very attentive and servers were brilliant. Food was delicious too! Great value for money, will be back in the future.

Went in with my son for Sunday dinner and the food was absolutely amazing. Gary the chef outdid himself it was absolutely scrumptious. Jane our server was amazing and couldn’t of been more helpful, will definitely be visiting again.

Early evening dinner and drinks. All day breakfast. Mixed grill. Several beers. One dog bowl. Bang on, highly recommended.

What a difference a year makes! I visited last year and left a deserved bad review, but heard things had improved so gave it another go. Great service, clean and well refurbished. Decor is lovely. The food was very very good. Looked freshly cooked and tasted good. 8 of us ordered different meals and all of us very happy. Definitely recommend

Went for lunch with a friend and the staff couldn't be more helpful with my food intolerance, Chole and chef Steve and the other bar staff were just fabulous. I cannot recommend them enough.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, ample parking

It was a lovely atmosphere for a Sunday roast and the waiters and waitresses had a positive attitude despite how busy it was. We waited about 45 minutes for our food and weren’t warned about the long wait until we asked but we didn’t mind. Portion sizes are huge, good value for money!

Came for Sunday lunch as its amazing. Meal sizes are amazing and always tastes amazing. Staff are always so friendly.Always recommend to friends and family. Good play area outside also.

Poor chicken tikka, bad app and full of screaming kids. Also vash only at tills as machines down, blue light card not set up ti work with app.

You get told of a wait time and put simply double what you are told. Had this problem here before, made the mistake of giving a second chance. Total incompetence personified.

Visiting Lincoln and stopped by after work on a Thursday evening. Busy but tables available which gave the pub a nice atmosphere. We had our dog which meant we had to sit in the bar area. When ordering was told food time would be 30 mins, but we waited less. Food came out lovely and warm and tasty. Thanks, well worth the stop.

Great friendly service from Helen and Emily who were serving at the bar and greeting guests. The man who took my food order who was wearing a waistcoat was very rude , he stomped off to the kitchen because I had asked for my soup and baguette to be brought out at the same time!!!!! The pub got very busy relatively quickly , despite this we were not waiting long for our food. It came out piping hot and my steak was cooked perfectly. A big shout out to the only two chefs working in the kitchen today Brad and Dom , you did a fantastic job. A great kitchen team !

Unfortunately the chicken in the peri peri chicken baguette I had today was mostly gristle and chewy bits of meat, I didn't eat much at all. The peri sauce was quite acidic and garlicky. Almost to an intolerable level. Service was good though and that was the saving grace. We've been twice in the past 18 months and not overly been impressed, probably won't attend again which is sad really.

The staff were generally polite and friendly. The food however was very poor. On the mixed grill the steak was tough and fatty throughout, the gammon and gammon was tough and the chips were soggy. My daughter had sausage, mash and beans and the mash was tough, stuck together firmly ans though it had been reheated many times over and very dry. My son had tomato pasta and the sauce water very watery. The only fairly decent dish was the Mac and cheese with pulled pork, but that was it. Not one to usually complain, but this was very bad on this occasion. Hopefully a one off.

This has been my local pub for the past 2.5 years, and every single time I've been I've had nothing but a great time. There's a lovely vibrant atmosphere and the staff / management are great, never had any problems! There's a great selection of drinks and offers, and the food has been fantastic! A special mention has to be made for the chef Dom and bar staff Imy and Khole, who have always done a great job at making me, my friends and partner welcome. I'm very sad to be moving away so I won't be able to call this my local anymore, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this pub to anyone who stops by in the area.

Recently served by Imy and Khole at the bar and the chef Dom for the food. All was ace for the ultimate chicken burger and a medium rare surf and turf and a couple of pints of neck oil

I made a booking for 4 but when I arrived for Sunday lunch they had only saved us a table for 2 .they did find us a table but the argumentative attitude was not appropriate Ed. Our table was booked for 1 30 so didn't expect to have to wait 55 mins for what turned out to be rubbery meat ..tasteless at best .not enough cutlery and contents not working .really bad quality food

The food was well presented, hot, and delicious. Good value for money. Excellent service, the staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful, especially the older man with the moustache who served us at the bar. He was smart, friendly and extremely polite. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommend. Thank you

The chefs gary and brad were excellent, food was great and the customer service from jayne was impeccable, she really made sure it was managed well, the lady behind the bar khloe was a gem, patient and very helpful/insightfull, thank you for making it a pleasant xperience, i spent £80 for 4 ppl and id spend it again.

Fabulous rump steak with the surf & turf, Nice chips, and desserts and very friendly staff. Kids play area meant you could actually enjoy your time whilst the children ran around. Slightly out of the way but we enjoyed the pub and would recommend a visit. S T

Well after a lovely first time back meal, a month back and now another today,. I can say I Will BE BACK and I Will definitely recommend this place for food and everything else. Great pub, lovely staff, food was slow to come out but the quality has improved lots since our visit a year ago, absolutely great. Disappointed that our blue light cards cannot be used in the pub and only our app can be , my phone battery went and I was unable to provide the app but had my physical card on me, still this was rejected by staff which I think is unfair, I also had my NHS I.d but that was rejected too. It was really hot and u fortunately the windows are sealed shut so no through breeze, That being said - good night had by all and the playground is a welcome bonus

Food was lovely and Speedy service

I like this pub, the outdoor play area is perfect. One bad thing is on a Sunday all you can get is a roast dinner. My disabled daughter can't eat alot due to her pallet. So I wasn't happy we had to leave and then find somewhere else that did other options on a sunday

Booked for lunch with the kids and ended up spending 4hrs here because they were so happy running around the garden. Playground is small but enough and unlike a lot of places the climbing frame (and slide) is actually accessible for toddlers independently (i.e. not only accessible via cargo nets or climbing walls!). We'd asked for a table near the playground when we booked and they actually had three possibilities ready for us to choose from when we arrived, with the one we selected being perfect and by the door to the playground, with lots of indoor space around the table for them to spread out. Manager (I think) who greeted us was very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit and the staff were really friendly. Food was very nice and great value! We will be going again next time we're in Lincoln.

Going to this pub is like watching something off of Alan Partridge. Staff appear completely clueless to anything going on, which would be funny if they weren’t suppose to be providing a service. We had a birthday in our group, had given the waitress a cake and some candles- were told to let them know when we want them, but they couldn’t even get this right as the waitress that brought the cake was moody, rude and didn’t even bring the candles. The food left A LOT to be desired. Won’t be going again and wouldn’t recommend you do either. Save your money and go to a professional establishment. One star is far too good.

Very clean and tidy, friendly helpful staff. Food excellent. A big one for us is that it is dog friendly and also have a pup menue so the dog doesn't miss out, there is a choice of animal friendly meals as well as ice cream for their dessert. There is a tub of dog biscuits and ice water with bowls to help yourself to. If you have children there is also a big children's play area. I cannot rate this pub enough. We will definitely be Back here on a regular basis. They have thought of everything. We'll done and a big thankyou x

Went in for Sunday Lunch, had cauliflower cheese tart and was cold in the middle, didn't even get an apology! This was then recooked but given my old plate back, with all gravy dried up and not offered anymore. If you want your food cooked or decent service then I would avoid

Visited twice since the refurb and in my opinion it's gone down hill. Food was terrible on both occasions. Thought I'd give it a second try, but the chicken was tough, bacon was burnt and no BBQ sauce on the hunters chicken. My last visit unfortunately. Such a shame.

Under new management with new menu and great drinks selection. Sunday roast is very good with generous portion of meat and good selection of vegetables. Children have good play area too.

We had fantastic service from lady behind the bar called 'Hannah...' She was really friendly, made us all feel welcome and at home. Hannah is a massive asset to this pub. We will be coming back sometime soon. Thanks again Hannah for making our visit an enjoyable one!

Had a very enjoyable evening at The Lincolnshire Poacher last night. Staff and food were excellent, special mention to Helen, the manager who went above and beyond with service. We will definitely be back.

We were greeted warmly on arrival and service was friendly and effective. I liked the lunchtime menu where you can have a smaller portion of a main meal.

Jayne was fabulous. Really welcoming and made sure our meal was just how we wanted it. Every member of staff we came across were really helpful.

We had a wonderful time, really friendly staff. Ended up chatting to Neil who I think runs the place and he made us feel really welcome and made sure we had everything. We definitely go back next time we're near.

Lovely food and staff very welcoming for family's and great atmosphere

Went today for our school class summer meal. Being in an all needs school this can sometimes be a stressful time for everyone. Jayne and her staff were amazing, help the students feel relaxed and they were very patient whilst each student paid. Gary and Ryan did a brilliant job in the kitchen of getting all the meals ready, hot and out all at the same time. Thank you for making our day very special and for taking some of the pressure off of our school staff.

Excellent for. Service always very good and all staff are very welcoming and friendly. Food is excellently cooked and presented by Chef Gary and Marley needs a special mention for his hospitality and great service!
