Nosey Parker in Lincoln

Awful service, shocking food and wouldn’t serve me on my 25th birthday staff in charge not aware of how to provide an enjoyable experience and all round one awful experience shall not be using this establishment again !! Real let down as Marston’s Pubs normally have great helpful staff gotta say give this one a miss !!! Bare in mind this was my first eating out experience for 6 months and has put me off from ever wanting to return to a marstons establishment

Very nice place. The atmosphere is good and relaxing. The food is amazing mostly their fish and chips which is highly recommended. I gave them a 4 star for food because the crispy chicken strips as seen in the photo I have posted were not interesting to say the least. I think they need work on that particular menu. Make it look better and taste better please. Also, they have lots of good two for one offers which I think is a good business strategy which explains why the place is crowded with lots of people. The customer service is amazing, someone goes round the tables to confirm if you are okay and need any extra assistance with your food or any other thing.

It's a very nice pub and the staff are very friendly however ever the food was a bit bland and some of the people we were with thought the food was either over or under cooked. Also there were menu changes at the last minute. However has been very good the past and don't know of anyone who has a major problem with this establishment. Think we just caught them on a off night, which we all have from time to time. Would certainly go again 👍

Good welcome, good food, not too busy but drinks overpriced and when you have children can be very expensive as a family!

Our waitress Carla was really attentive and helpful. Offering extra drinks and a dessert menu when she cleared our plates. We were unfortunately too full to have a pudding.

We often pop in here on our way back from town and the 'Nosey 'always seem to manage to find us a space. Had friends unexpectedly visit from away during the Christmas season and quickly booked for the Festive menu although it was very short notice. On arrival met by a pleasant lady, perhaps Manager? Explained late Festive booking but she said she would ask the Chef if he could provide the special menu. She returned swiftly, said yes and we ordered. A couple of waitresses then appeared and gave us crackers and poppers which would normally be provided for the special menu. Well we can really compliment the staff on their excellent service especially as it was a busy lunchtime. We all enjoyed our meals and the attentive service made it feel a really nice experience….but that’s why we visit regularly. Thank you ! NB Apols for late review

Absolutely 💯 best birthday meal

Not been for a while, wasn’t great last time I came. Really surprised at how nice the food was. Had the BOGOF offer, which I didn’t know was in so two huge main meals and bottle of wine £21.

Disappointed with birthday Sunday lunch beef like leather veg undercooked meal only just warm when served.. we’ve never been disappointed before so was looking forward to our meal for my birthday 80th this was on Sunday 5th January

We booked a table and expressed that we only wanted a drink but not to be seated in the bar area due to the freezing chill in the bar area. Zero radiators and being January it’s very cold (can’t feel comfortable and take your coat off) so booked a table and immediately got sat under the fan. Staff are not the one either. Bad vibes all round. Used to be mint.

Food and service very good.Very busy place advisable to book .Menu has lots of different options including gluten free ,children’s menu also has lots of options.

Christmas Lunch 2024. We booked , following recommendations from friends. And we’re so glad we did. From the initial contact with them, through booking, pre/ordering our meals and actually being there it was an efficient and very friendly service. The staff were all very quick and efficient with our food. The meal itself was delicious, with very generous servings. There were crackers on the tables , with individual chocolates, party poppers , and ribbon streamers.And on leaving, we were all given an individually wrapped small box of chocolates. We were so happy with it all that we have put our names down for Christmas lunch 2025!

It was just brilliant! We arrived 20 minutes early, that did not matter. Got us to our table straight away, with a tv screen, perfect to watch the football 😃⚽️ We ordered on the App, didn't have to wait long before the food arrived! And the food was delicious 😋 Great service!

We visited with our dog this morning, for the Santa Paws event and the whole thing exceeded our expectations. Santa and Mrs Claus were amazing with all of the dogs and so friendly. The whole set up and system worked very well too, providing perfect photo opportunities. The gift bag and certificate was such a lovely added touch. We are blown away by the thought that has gone into this, for such a reasonable price! Thank you so much to everyone involved. We will be back next year 🧑‍🎄💗

Family friendly pub in a city so busy, one dish wasn't up to scratch so the duty manager called Kerry was very helpful and attentive money refunded and an offer of more food, and Emma who served us was very good.

My dish was just hot enough to eat, but my wife's macaroni & cheese main was cold. If it hadn't taken so long to get it in the first place, we would have complained. Didn't want to want for the reheated version to come back out,so we left. I'm not sure what's happened in the last couple of years, but this has gone from being my favourite Flaming Grill to no longer going back.

Ordered 2 meals from the gluten-free menu on the app, everything but my potato was cold and I ordered chicken. Was offered everything but my money back. If you serve cold chicken I've lost confidence in the chef I just want my money back as an option. I'm not going to beg, I just will never come back.

The staff are all welcoming and friendly, those doing table service are always attentive and on hand, the more I've visited over the last few months the more my enjoyment of visiting this place has grown, I now consider it my local bar and restaurant, the food never fails to please, the xl mixed grill is tremendous and the mac and cheese has me borderline addicted, a fantastic experience everytime.

Expensive for what you get, soggy nachos that need a fork to eat and a terrible quiz

I ordered Sirloin steak rare. The first piece of meat that was placed in front of me was so thin that it was impossible for the cook to do anything other than well done, the waitress took it back and presented a piece of meat that was slightly thicker and was almost rare - I was hungry and decided that I would make do. Regrettably the steak was full of gristle and was barely edible. We won’t be going back!!

Just visited nosy Parker green king pub in Lincoln although not booked they found us a table,the staff was more than helpful,very friendly,could not do enough for us .we were served by Nina & Emma but saying that all staff very efficient food was amazing good value .would definitely recommend.and will definitely be visiting again could tell the staff enjoy & appreciate their jobs .thankyou .would loved to have booked for Xmas day but fully booked .

The food was alright. Left feeling quite dissapointed with the quality but for a pub it was acceptable. However, with my steak I chose to spend £2.20 on the hunter topper which was really disappointing! Just a tiny bit of cheese and two small pieces of bacon.

I booked and reserved a table for Friday lunch time. Bars are always busy on Fridays but nice and cosy table. Times have changed a lot as now you can download an app to your mobile and order your meal online and pay for it. No hassle of standing at bar etc. We ordered the 2 meal deals. It took 20 min and oh wow that was quick. Excellent service with a friendly smile. The food was really delicious and those large chips were a bonus. Thanks to all the staff for your outstanding service. We surely be returning.

We were let down at the very last minute by another venue for an 18th birthday meal for 20+ people. Having rang in a panic, the manager was able to fit us in and saved the day! On arrival we were well looked after. Additional guests arrived and despite the venue being full space was found. We were able to order separately but all the food was brought out together. We were able to have the cake brought to the table with candles provided as we forgot them! We had an amazing time, the atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were all pleasant and nothing was too much for them. We had an amazing time and my son really enjoyed his birthday. We were served by Nina but she was supported by several others.

Came here for our team meal with our mate Barry . Shame that Gareth emptied the kitchen. Superb friendly service considering there was 14 of us and they brought all the food put at same time all perfectly cooked, Highly recommend.

It was the Granddaughters 18th. There was 9 in our party ranging from 70 to 8 months . We were well looked after by the staff, food was fantastic. Recommend the Nosey to anyone

We come here very often and never come away thinking anything but good things. The food is always delicious and priced appropriately. The staff are always welcoming no matter how busy, Carla and Nina are the staff who have stood out to us so far as the most friendly. It can be a little busy at times but that’s expected for a pub so good 😊

Was welcomed in by Darcy who saw I had mobility issues and helped me to a seat nearby. Kerry on the bar was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered a simple bacon cheeseburger each which was very tasty. We did have a slight issue with chips which weren’t hot but edible, they replaced the chips and offered a free desert which was gratefully received. All in all a lovely pub with lovely food and nice atmosphere.

Arrived on a busy Friday teatime without booking, a table was found for us within a few minutes and we ordered our meal thinking it would take a while as it was very busy, this was not the case and the food arrived quickly. The ribeye steak which was ordered medium/rare was excellent, lovely and tender and cooked to perfection, the other meal was the steak and ale pie which again was excellent and very tasty. The staff that served us were friendly and attentive and we would not hesitate to recommend the Nosey Parker and will certainly be returning.

We went for Bogof burgers on a Thursday. Really busy in there and good atmosphere. We were served very quickly and food was great.

Nosey Parker was the first place my partner took me 10 years ago. Due to pandemic, not been for a long time but called in for lunch last Thursday. Both of us had gammon, egg and chips washed down with a large Chardonnay and a pint of San Miguel. Superb and a fantastic price of £22.66p. Great life returning to normal. UPDATE: we come in, on average, once a week. Always value for money. Today, sun shining, Wednesday 8th May, and we bought our two dogs, Molly the 🐩 and Toby the Havachon🐶 for their photo shoot and sausage. We had our usual sizzling gammon, washed down with a Counterpoint Chardonnay and John Smith Beer. Ella took the photos of dogs and genuinely loves her job. Has been at Nosey Parker for five years and says they look after the staff which is nice to know. Sophie, who has just been promoted to Assistant Manager, is always very friendly. A note for the Manager: Great marketing for the photos of peoples’ dogs with their sausages outside. Ok if weather great. Barry and I are always away, in different parts of the country and frequent Greene King Pubs, many who welcome well behaved dogs inside. Surely, The Manager can get Greene King to splash out, put aside a corner, take up carpet, lay some floor tiles and put aside for the “doggy community”. He might be glad of the extra clientele this will bring in. I, personally, would rather see some well behaved dogs on their leads, than some badly behaved children running amok 🤭UPDATE: back again today 15th October 24. As usual, our sizzling gammon was great, never had a bad one. All members of staff are great but, in particular, Emma is a credit, always ensuring we are happy with our meal etc. and thanking everyone when they leave. Darcel, behind the bar, nothing is too much trouble even checking the % on the Chardonnays as I don’t wish to have 11% which has no depth🤭. Shame we don’t get a complimentary drink on every 20th visit🤗

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff they are excellent as is the food. A young lady served us at the bar with our order, she had only started two weeks ago and was brilliant, calm, polite and knowledgeable. Fantastic as it was very busy that afternoon. Date 12/10/2024 💯💯

We had a family meal at the Nosey Parker during a bust Saturday afternoon. We decided to go based upon a recommendation and I'm please to say that were not disappointed! The end-to-end experience was great. We were met and looked after by Jess, who was friendly and helpful. The food was cooked well and everyone in our group enjoyed their food and we had a great time. I would also like to highlight Kerry as she looked after us throughout. In summary, based upon our experience on a busy Saturday afternoon, I would highly recommend this place for family groups, couples and anyone who just wanted to have a pint and watch the sport!

This is a Greene king flaming grill pub. Very large venue & very busy on a Wednesday lunchtime. We walked in & were given a table with no prior booking. Not always a guarantee by the look of it as it was very busy. We ordered off the app & the meal came fairly quickly. All good & would visit again.

Disgusted book table for 4.30pm turned up early to have a drink showd to table then after having drink (very good pinot ) going to bar to be told out of what we wanted (sharer) then asked for drinks and them told no Sunday lunch ( but it's 4pm on a Sunday) finished drink went to bar to pay when I said I would ve complaining got some jumped up wanna be boss stating not everything is always available could you not have told us when we walked in things were not available oh we only order what we think we'll your thinking is wrong by a long shot Stings of under order on frozen as if it had been fresh we would as customers see specials board

Went to the pub today for a birthday meal. I found that certain meals that was advertised wasn’t even available which I found stupid. Then the manger came and was very rude towards my girlfriend and family which I found very unprofessional. Later on she walk over and snatch a drink out of my girlfriend hand and then when we tried to get a refund of the drink she took back away which, was still full got told you can’t have a refund. When told the manger we are off to get the ID from home she was no where to be seen and another manger had to see to us which gave us the refund and still NEVER check the ID which was in her hand, my question is why moan about not having ID and removing a drink from us and not even checking the ID when we have it. Would not recommend this pub to no one.

We have stopped off for a quick meal with our dogs - Nosey Parkey we're very accommodating keeping us warm outside in the garden area with heaters and doggies got a treats

Very Good. Acknowledged as soon as we walked in and welcomed. Good atmosphere as usual. No banging loud music. Friendly staff particularly Kerry U. The food is good value and satisfying without a huge price. The fact that it is always pretty full every time we go says that they are attracting the public. Good service..

Visited for lunch with our dog Dexter. We were afforded space inside as it was breezy under the canopy. Our main courses were well sized, hot, served quickly and good value. Were were served by two very polite & cheerful ladies, Kerry & Darcel. Dexter was spoilt rotten, fussed, given a cooked sausage, doggy bag and even had his photo taken. This was a lovely touch and nice to see a large company going that extra mile for dog owners. Our desserts were lovely and again good value. Overall our experience this visit was great and all three of us will be revisiting. Well done to all involved.

Flaming grill chain pub so you know you are getting half decent food for a decent price. We went on a Thursday and got two big burgers and two drinks for about 20 pounds. So cant argue with the price either. Thanks guys.

Great service and food even though the dessert was a bit late I got extra ice cream I was given this by kerry (very nice women) and all of this it was very good I recommend.

My brother and I had not visited the Nosey Parker in Lincoln for years. What a most pleasurable and enjoyable experience! The restaurant was busy but the service was exceptional. Our choice of food was rewarded with filling, tasteful and most importantly hot meals. The staff were helpful to our needs, sociable and indeed appeared to enjoy their work. Thank you all at the Nosey Parker!

Attended a wedding meal here, the food was excellent, all brought out at the same time and the staff were really superb. Special thanks to Kerry for her attentiveness.

I went there for my birthday, and despite the fact that the place was full, the food came out very quickly and all the food was absolutely delicious. We were served by Darcel and Nina and they were very professional and went above and beyond to make the night run smoothly.

Me and my partner came today for lunch. We were greeted by Emma and dercel,who was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Carla served us, and she was very friendly and helpful. Look forward to our next visit.

I (Paul P) organised a 3 course Lunch with tea or coffee at Nosey Parker on Sunday 1st September for my charity Lincolnshire IA with 22 attending. We were served by NINA. The food was excellent as always and all the staff were very helpful. An excellent meal was had by all.

Went for food after work as a little date night. Only ordered small meals and this took over 40 minutes to come out to us. When our food came out it was cold. Extremely disappointed in this because I had to go up and ask where our food was.

Went here with friends and don't think I'll be going back any time soon, the food was well mediocre ordered drinks, and was a pitiful sight when the food came, just not great tbh, the place was packed as quiz night and I understand they are busy but when I asked for lime in my husbands desperado, the young lass said oh I don't think we have any, she then asked the older woman, she was very off and said we haven't got any well not cut, that will take me a few minutes, do you actually want it...hmmm yes please, to pop in the drink I've just bought!! Then asked for 2 cocktails omg, y served a cocktail in a juice glass and still charge £6.99 that looks like a juice not exactly eye speak and guarantee if anyone looked at it they won't be rushing to buy a cocktail! Please put some effort in if you wanna put them in your menu!! Food was steak and was ok, chicken burgers were basic, plenty of room to find a table, outside area well done out too, just won't be back I'm afraid

Poor value for money, food almost cold when brought to table, had the flamin BBQ meat sharer, hardly any meat, a handful of chips, walked out still hungry
