Nosey Parker in Lincoln

Very attentive and helpful staff. Very busy as anticipated but we were well looked after. Food and drinkrs arrived in good time and app worked well.

I booked and reserved a table for Friday lunch time. Bars are always busy on Fridays but nice and cosy table. Times have changed a lot as now you can download an app to your mobile and order your meal online and pay for it. No hassle of standing at bar etc. We ordered the 2 meal deals. It took 20 min and oh wow that was quick. Excellent service with a friendly smile. The food was really delicious and those large chips were a bonus. Thanks to all the staff for your outstanding service. We surely be returning.

It was the Granddaughters 18th. There was 9 in our party ranging from 70 to 8 months . We were well looked after by the staff, food was fantastic. Recommend the Nosey to anyone

Came here for our team meal with our mate Barry . Shame that Gareth emptied the kitchen. Superb friendly service considering there was 14 of us and they brought all the food put at same time all perfectly cooked, Highly recommend.

My brother and I had not visited the Nosey Parker in Lincoln for years. What a most pleasurable and enjoyable experience! The restaurant was busy but the service was exceptional. Our choice of food was rewarded with filling, tasteful and most importantly hot meals. The staff were helpful to our needs, sociable and indeed appeared to enjoy their work. Me and my partner came today for lunch. We were greeted by Emma and dercel,who was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Carla served us, and she was very friendly and helpful. Look forward to our next visit.

I (Paul P) organised a 3 course Lunch with tea or coffee at Nosey Parker on Sunday 1st September for my charity Lincolnshire IA with 22 attending. We were served by NINA. The food was excellent as always and all the staff were very helpful. An excellent meal was had by all.

Went for food after work as a little date night. Only ordered small meals and this took over 40 minutes to come out to us. When our food came out it was cold. Extremely disappointed in this because I had to go up and ask where our food was.

Went here with friends and don't think I'll be going back any time soon, the food was well mediocre ordered drinks, and was a pitiful sight when the food came, just not great tbh, the place was packed as quiz night and I understand they are busy but when I asked for lime in my husbands desperado, the young lass said oh I don't think we have any, she then asked the older woman, she was very off and said we haven't got any well not cut, that will take me a few minutes, do you actually want it...hmmm yes please, to pop in the drink I've just bought!! Then asked for 2 cocktails omg, y served a cocktail in a juice glass and still charge £6.99 that looks like a juice not exactly eye speak and guarantee if anyone looked at it they won't be rushing to buy a cocktail! Please put some effort in if you wanna put them in your menu!! Food was steak and was ok, chicken burgers were basic, plenty of room to find a table, outside area well done out too, just won't be back I'm afraid

The best pub food at the right price

Absolutely fantastic experience at nosey the other week on my nans birthday, Darcel was amazing!

The bar staff were great and it all goes down here from there. The portion size for the price was ridiculous (10 french fries with adult main meal) corn on the cob forgotten, and garlic ciabbatta ordered and some slices of what looked like asda value garlic frech stick delivered cold. Desert of biscoff cheese cake, tastless and stable. Overall poor experience and not 1 we will be taking again.

Food was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable. When we arrived we were greeted and shown to our table by Melissa who was very polite, friendly and very helpful. Thank you. 😃

Was told to stand out side and wait on my last visit.rude staff and dirty tables. Kitchen now closed. Hope they stay closed disgusting

Nice pub and restaurant with plenty of free parking. Menu is good with plenty of choices and not too badly priced.

Good layout of tables. Staff were friendly and asked how our food was. A family member received a wrong order but it was immediately rectified.

Went here with my family for a birthday meal. We'd never been here before. Lovely atmosphere, meal was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. This was my 1st birthday since losing my mum. I wasn't looking forward to celebrating 😕. The staff knew nothing of my loss. They absolutely made my evening special ❤️. Putting my flowers in the cellar to keep them cool,as it was a really hot evening. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great, even the other customers were wishing me a happy birthday as they were leaving. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you for making my birthday special 💗

Absolute rammel. Yorkshire puddin like elephants leather. Very small portions barely warm and overpriced. First and last visit. Yer live and learn

Good quality food at sensible prices, friendly staff. The main letdown was the state of the WCs water and paper over the floors in cubicles and urinals. However we'll worth a visit.

Has the repressive air of pro brexit the crowd look like they bring in right-wing ideologies, all the fun of a plastic, hotel bar, just off the motorway, nothing adventurous drinks wise...cramped functional atmosphere ...Lincoln people probably love it for these reasons, you'll get looked at when you walk in, don't expect ferocious philosophical debate. Having said that it's all clean and the food is generously portioned.

Typical pub grub menu. Friendly staff. Busy but not a long wait for food. Reasonably priced. Many TV's showing sport. Nice atmosphere. Been before and will go again.

Haven't been here for quite a while, the service and food got rather poor. But now under Green King it is once again a fabulous place. The service was great, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. The cleanliness of the venue was really good. Great place for families and couples.

2 roast beef dinners, poor quality, cold food. Mentioned to waitress who offered to replace with a hot meal. 1 mixed grill skillet, tasty, hot and succulent. We are returning patrons but the good was definitely not up to the usual standard.

Very reasonable prices for meals and atmosphere quiet to go for a drink and meal good choices also my wife used to work there before she passed away nearly 10years now how time flies by.

Food quality awful. Ordered steak flatbread as it looked lovely on the menu. Please see the attached for photo of what I received in comparison to the menu photo. When I mentioned to waitress her solution was to bring a bowl of the same lettuce to fill it out with. I would not recommend.

Shocking Racism at the Bar! We visited this pub on 11 July 2024 for a birthday celebration. Generally, the pub is nice, the food is okay, and the orders are taken and served by friendly staff. However, our experience was severely marred by the racist behavior of the lady attending the bar. Despite my patient waiting beside the bar, she initially ignored me. As I was not wearing my glasses, I couldn’t read the beer names clearly. When I pointed to one on tap and asked for ‘a pint of this’, she mocked my tone in a racially insensitive manner, repeating ‘a pint of this, a pint of that, a pint of what???’ in a derogatory accent that seemed to mimic my own. I was shocked and deeply hurt by this behavior but tried to remain composed. Later, when I attempted to order an alcohol-free cider by asking, ‘may I also have an alcohol-free cider?’, she rolled her eyes and responded, ‘there are many different kinds of ciders’, without offering any further assistance. Her dismissive and condescending attitude was evident throughout our interaction. This will be our first and you last visit. I strongly urge you to ensure that your staff are trained in basic manners and respectful, non-discriminatory customer service.

Value for money always, usually very busy so make sure to pre book, shows live sport too if you like that.

5 out of 5, Staff was absolutely the best, food was hot and not too long of a wait especially for the football when busy. Moved us for better view of the screen.

Prebooked birthday meal that hadn’t been logged on system by Charles , but luckily Sophie found us a table and took all our orders . Assorted food , mixed response , chips barely warm, lasagne seemed to lack minced beef and burnt area to topping wasn’t appealing . One plate had a purple stain area that according to waitress was a “ date stamp “ I believe she called it.!! Regardless it shouldn’t have been served to a customer in that condition. Desserts were all ok . Eaten here numerous times before , some busier than others, so on this occasion I felt somewhat let down, moreso with it being for a celebratory event for a family member. I’d like Sophie to be aware she saved the day with her personable manner and I’m sure we’ll return when the next birthday comes round.

Been a few times now. Great food and always busy! Harriett was our waitress and very good at her job, always a smile on her face and nothings to much trouble.

We've been visiting the pub most Wednesdays for either football or to do the quiz. Everytime we have arrived Sophie has always tried to find us a table and accommodate us in whatever way she can, what a star! The atmosphere is always great, great selection of beers and the food hits the spot too.

Our overcooked kebabs looked nothing like the pictures on the menu. The side salad consisted of salad lettuce, 3 slices of cucumber and a a few cubes of tomato! The Cheesey chips were hot, our kebabs lukewarm. Not helped when the waitress ran round the restaurant with our food looking for the wrong table! Half the gins on the menu weren’t available, nor do they serve diet lemonade. Needless to say, we won’t be eating there again. It was awful! Only good thing was I can eat anything and I don’t have to cook dinner. We’d had a better meal if we ate from the burger van!

Me and my partner are Disabled, and the table that was reserved for us wasn’t suitable for both of us they then went out their way to reseat us to a more suitable table . Kerry and jade made us feel really welcome as it was my partners Birthday and you couldn’t fault the food and the serve was excellent. Well worth a visit . Thank you Dee Gray

One meal was inedible,cold.the steak was inedible.it is the worst meal my wife has ever been served.

Sophie’s hospitality is always spot on and food in general is top quality. Would recommend.

Ok, I had the tiniest chicken wings I have ever seen but others in my party seemed to enjoy theirs.

Very tasty, good quality food, service was quick and the staff were very friendly and polite. Carla our serving staff was also very polite. We came during the busy lunchtime hours and still got served quickly and the food came out quickly.

Had a lovely meal again which never disappoints, staff all super professional and always busy cleaning and clearing, Kerry was super helpful. Will definitely come back again.

Absolutely spot on with everything, service, food, the works! Maybe you would consider lending some of the team to Riverside Farm, near York, to show them how to do it properly.....

Had some meals before that were okay . Today was not good . Not only did my mother's food arrive inedible but so did the tables both sides of us . Orders wrong , food burnt, peas were disgusting, steak cooked to the state of rubber ( asked for medium rare ) , menus filthy and sticky , toilets filthy , neighbouring tables left entire plates of food as inedible . Staff were embarrassed and tried hard to rectify . Feel for them as they get the brunt of customers disappointment . Place wasn't that busy so do not know why food coming out so bad . Not sure if we will return .

Have just eaten here today 2nd June 2024. The worst Roast dinner I have ever eaten. When did you get roast turkey that has rounded edges unless it is pre-packed. Roast potatoes that where all soft and mushy, Mashed potato that tasted like Smash and Yorkshire Puddings that obviously where not home cooked but ready made frozen and re-heated and where like rubber, Vegetables all under cooked and nearly raw. The whole meal was absolutely disgusting. no sauces offered with the meal. And when I complained about my meal the staff member I spoke too just did not seem bothered. This was our first visit to this pub and can assure you it will be our last.

It's our first time today, definitely not the last. Really nice food they served us 😋 👌 We each had 2 main dishes. Price is on the good side as well.. Already recommended to friends and family..

Great food cheap prices and amazing staff

After a month long pre booking at another venue & being told of a 2.5 hour wait & then they were about to shut the kitchen, we were left in a dilemma So... we rang The Nosey Parker & theycould fit us all in (6) straight away, so after ordering food and drinks settling in with our drins we were quite quickly served our food unfortunately the fries were a bit on the cool side, but they were quickly rectified with hot ones within a few minutes, we won't mention the 'sausagegate' scandal 😂 but believe me it made for a relaxing meal & nice relationship with our server. Everyone enjoyed their food & clean plates were all around, which is always a good thing in my book, our server came & asked us if we'd like any desserts & due to full tummys it was declined, our server who I have to say couldn't do enough for us & ensured everything was how we wanted. Her name was Nina and such a lovely person and has such a lovely personality that shines & help's her guests relax & enjoy their visit. We'll certainly be coming back again.

Bank Holiday treat, is a grill pub, so not much for veggies, but the grill menu was excellent and the prices really good. Chose to eat out in the beer garden, right choice, really recommend this place

Quick & friendly service, comfortable seating with small group of friends!

Went with a fantastic group of ladies and though we had a great time together, the service was terrible once you ordered and the quality of food was nothing to shout about.

Came here again Saturday night for my partners birthday meal. Was blown away by the level of on call service from the staff. Big special thanks to Steven he did a grand job of making sure that any questions, special requests we had were catered for. Couldn’t ask anymore of Nosey Parker. 🎯

Our now go to pub when we visit the Daughter at University. Only Dog friendly outside, but is under cover and has heaters. Plus the dogs get a treat bag. Staff are lovely

Nosey Parker was the first place my partner took me 10 years ago. Due to pandemic, not been for a long time but called in for lunch last Thursday. Both of us had gammon, egg and chips washed down with a large Chardonnay and a pint of San Miguel. Superb and a fantastic price of £22.66p. Great life returning to normal. UPDATE: we come in, on average, once a week. Always value for money. Today, sun shining, Wednesday 8th May, and we bought our two dogs, Molly the 🐩 and Toby the Havachon🐶 for their photo shoot and sausage. We had our usual sizzling gammon, washed down with a Counterpoint Chardonnay and John Smith Beer. Ella took the photos of dogs and genuinely loves her job. Has been at Nosey Parker for five years and says they look after the staff which is nice to know. Sophie, who has just been promoted to Assistant Manager, is always very friendly. A note for the Manager: Great marketing for the photos of peoples’ dogs with their sausages outside. Ok if weather great. Barry and I are always away, in different parts of the country and frequent Greene King Pubs, many who welcome well behaved dogs inside. Surely, The Manager can get Greene King to splash out, put aside a corner, take up carpet, lay some floor tiles and put aside for the “doggy community”. He might be glad of the extra clientele this will bring in. I, personally, would rather see some well behaved dogs on their leads, than some badly behaved children running amok 🤭

I dine here often! The food is good, deals can make your meal quite cheap, 20% off with blue light discount. The place used to be better with the challenge meals but they don't seem to do them anymore! Still nice all the same.

We had a wonderful meal tonight. The steaks were lovely and the service was great. Lots of choice on the menu, and something for everyone. Carla was friendly and checked on us to make sure everything was spot on. We shall definitely be coming back!

The food was very good and great value for money but, If you are going to allow children into your pub and if parents are completely ignoring there own children staff must step in and ask them not to run allover the furniture or around people's tables. Finally parents went out to smoke and they all went and stayed there. That's when we could finish our food in peace
