What a lovely pub with friendly staff. The food was outstanding and they also did dog meals which our fussy shitzu loved. Made us feel very welcome.

We booked last minute for a table of 5 just before they were due to stop service. The staff sorted a table for us and were amazing with the service they gave us. The food was excellent and plentiful, the best we have had all weekend ( wish we had tried for food on the Friday and not just on our last night. Great staff and excellent food, will be back 100% If there was one way to improve, it would be if they did a breakfast service ( here’s hoping). Thanks very much guys, will see you on the next visit

Went out with family to celebrate daughters results. Are elsewhere but went to Royal William for drinks after. Was very disappointed with both service and the cask beer. This was such a shame as I usually recommend that people go here and in the past the beer has always been good. Last night the cask ale choice was limited to landlord and 2 other craft beers, I ordered one of these, the server appeared not to be able to pull a pint, when it was fobbing, I offered to wait for it to settle, but she said no and just kept going. Drunk about a quarter of the pint but couldn't face any more. Took it back and said that it was not good. A different server just said oh sorry about that and carried on with what she was doing.

Friendly staff and a stylish interior

Very poor house Rose wine and poor customer service. I took a rose wine back to the bar as it tasted nasty - almost as if it had been open a few days and gone off. This was 2pm on a Tuesday. The bar maid told me it was fine and only opened that day- also told me my husband said the cheap option woukd be fine and I wasn't "picky"!!!! He didn't say I was picky at all. However unfortunately the "cheap* wine £6 plus is undrinkable and she wanted to charge me £6.90 for a different wine - think not!

Warm flat inches cider not nice

Went for Sunday lunch and my 8 year old is very fussy. The manager bent over backwards to adjust a menu for him whilst not putting costs up. Very good standard of food and all staff very efficient. Will be back.

Nice little pub . A good seating area outside overlooking the wharf.

Nice place to sit and have a few chilled drinks , people watch and watch the world go by, however only a 4 star as it’s a cashless venue

Visited with my partner and two friends for a Sunday dinner and we were not disappointed. Very reasonable price, delicious food and great service catering for my partner's allergies. I personally had the chicken dinner and it was moist, succulent and full of flavour and I would definitely recommend it. The others had the beef and lamb which they said were also great. It's a great spot for a bite to eat or just a drink by the Brayford on a sunny day. A lovely calming atmosphere and traditional feel is what I hoped for and it was exactly that. Do yourself a favour and go check it out if you haven't already

Just been and had a sunday dinner. I can absolutely say it is one of the best dinners I have had. Very tasty and a generous serving. Would highly recommend.

We came from Buckinghamshire to do a Regency Ball which has been cancelled. However as I have an old college friend that lives in Lincoln and being as I had paid for a b&b we decided to come up anyway. Having not eaten since breakfast I was hungry so we decided to eat at this pub on the Bradford quay and it didn't disappoint. The pork belly was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. Put it this way it was hot presented nicely and I cleared the plate. The servers were very friendly and it had a nice ambience.

Really good menu options including veggie, varied daily specials, plus excellent service (thanks Kadie) and good value for money. I enjoyed lunch with friends here and I'm looking forward to going again 👍

Nice pub by the water. Service a bit slow and card only (which caught out the old guy in front of me) but good selection of ales

Went Monday lunch, I have ceoliacs disease unfortunately was unable to eat here as they had nothing available. Been here previously and had a delicious Sunday roast. Staff are lovely. But really need to upgrade their gluten free menu.

Went to the King William IV on Friday evening 21st June. Ordered and paid for one pint Timothy Taylor beer and one large Sauvignon Blanc and was charged £16.35. How on earth can they justify that cost in a pub that has no entertainment or atmosphere. Scandalous, never to be repeated.

Cracking meal with the family in a proper pub by Lincoln Marina. Well looked after by Kadie and her colleagues.

Had the braised lamb shank, absolutely spot on !

Staff pleasant and efficient. Key lime pie not the best as it was more like a cheesecake.

Stopped for a sunny quet drink by the water, turned into a few! We got some chips which were slightly small a portion, but tasted fab - standard pub chips. Ended with mojitos and crisps!

At this price range you expect it good , it is and more . Really good quality freshly prepared and cooked . Excellent management with hands on approach makes a big difference... keep it up and I really do recommend you try out this pub .... 5 stars 🌟

Passing through and staying at Brayford Pool. Very friendly welcome with attentive staff. Food came it was excellent. All round good experience.

Picturesque location, lovely atmosphere, good food. Portions were decent. We were a large party (we were karting at PFI) and could pay individual bill as the till which was very convenient. Only complain was they forgot my son's sausage and mash which was the simplest of the items on the menu and took a good 30m to bring after we reminded them. Other than that rest was all good

Great food, old pub, needs more staff on bar during busy times

Always a pleasure to stop in wether it’s for a quick pint with a friend after work, a family meal at the weekend or enjoying some sunshine in the extensive seating out on the Brayford. Grateful staff and the food is excellent as well.

We had a lovely evening meal in this dog-friendly pub, and food was very good and good portions. I had mushroom and lentil lasagne, salad, toast, salad,and my husband had burrito with the usual trimmings. Service was lovely and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We may come again while visiting Lincoln.

First visit to the pub today, had our cockapoo, Baz with us, what a great place, extremely dog friendly with its own doggy menu, staff very friendly & polite, in particular a young lady looking after us, Dane’ very friendly and welcoming, a credit to the place, definitely recommend the place if your in and around Lincoln

Sunday lunch was very tasty. Was initially disappointed there were no roasties but the quality made up for that. The profiteroles were to die for. Good value for two courses. Not a very friendly welcome and we were ignored for ages but I was so hungry I persevered.

Went for lunch today with my partner. Lovely location and nice pub inside. Unfortunately lunch wasn't anything special. We both had the lunchtime baguettes with chips. The baguettes were quite underdone and soggy. Should have been toasted a lot more, as we're the chips. They could have done with more time. The missus had the pulled beef brisket with melted blue cheese. There was no blue cheese in sight (as per the picture). When she asked the waitress, it was taken back to the kitchen but brought back out within 20 seconds with a "The chef says the cheese is mixed in". On the plus side, the pint of diet coke went down well 👍🏽

Fantastic olde world waterside inn a short walk from the city centre. Great choice of real ales including Timothy Taylors and a warm friendly welcome from the young lady behind the bar . Great menu including a Thursday pie and pint night . Also have a doggy menu for our furry friends. Will return soon .

Had a couple of drinks ouside watching the world go by. Wish we had had more time to have a roast, they looked and smelled amazing :)

If your looking for a lovely warm atmosphere to have a drink this is it A*

Waited 40 minutes for a burger. Wasn’t approached by the staff except the once to drop off the food. Price was high even if it was a decently prepared burger. Instead, it was well overcooked and burnt in several places. I’ve previously been disappointed with the food taste, but this was the worst. Nice location for drinks, avoid the menu.

Went for a work Christmas party. Excellent food. Drinks very expensive though.

Stopped off for an impromptu lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I chose the broad bean and spinach burger with chips and Mrs D had scampi and chips. Service was quick, staff very pleasant and the food was well prepared. All good quality and reasonably priced.

Went for a works Christmas meal last weekend and the main meal was very poor quality considering the price. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely fabulous pub with a fantastic range of cask and keg beers, wines, spirits and a vast range of gins. All the beers we had were on excellent form and served perfectly by what i must say were the nicest and most obliging in Lincoln. We also had an evening meal, scampi and chips and pie of the day and chips which was spot on. All in all a great place to go.

Sunday lunch. A-ma-zing! Just popped in at 330pm and was eating a lovely roast beef dinner ten minutes later.

It was a lovely place. I had a nice glass of wine but for me personaly i love it because me and my hubby went there 7 years ago and the building is still the same. Its very achient but great.
