We had a group of 13 people,so we had to pre order our food via a link which was sent.prefood booking was complicated and still had to order through several calls to pub, on the night there was specials but could change due to a pre order food came out for 11 people but further 10 mins wait for the other 2 meals when everyone had nearly finished was never asked if everything was ok but food was poor hard sardines frozen fishcakes every plate served different but ordered same.poor service poor food for an expensive price.wont be going back as a family.

Fantastic pub on the Brayford. Lovely to sit outside when the sun is shining and you’ve got a nice ice cold beer in hand. Staff are always very welcoming and polite. Lovely little pit stop if you’re going to the cinema or for food on the Brayford. But then again they do very nice food here too. 👌🏻

Me and my partner came, food was shocking, my partner didn’t even eat his burger there was that much fat on the burger, no one came to check to see how our food was, even though it was a very quiet period. Very disappointed, won’t be returning.

Was greeted straight away by the very friendly staff at the bar and then sat at our table straight away for our booking. Ella was very attentive throughout. Food was delicious and they have a great range of IPA’s. Will definitely be back

I don't know what was wrong when we visited on Good Friday, but the food took over an hour to arrive, dessert order never happened they did give us a discount but what a disappointment will not be going back anytime soon.

Very enjoyable food with quick service and engaging staff, felt very well looked after and satisfied with the quality and portion sizes of the food, I’m sure we shall return to try more from your menu!

While staying in Lincoln for a few days we sat outside on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far - think Summer temperatures in early April. Good points: great location with outdoor seating facing over the marina. Worth noting that payment is card only, not an issue for us, but for some it could be. Let downs: Lincolnshire sausage in a baguette was really poor. Clearly microwaved and low quality. For a "Lincolnshire Pub" as they claim, let's hope foreign tourists don't judge Lincolnshire food by this. Beer quality was nothing to shout about. Overall, despite its historical providence and great location, quality wise, the place is no better than a chain pub

A nice pub, with a decent selection of drinks to choose from. Menu was reasonably priced, and food came quickly and tasted good.

Met grandson who is at university. Took him for a meal here. Cost £47 for two roasts, pint of coke and a large wine. The quality of food was fine. The quantity was poor. If you are plating up a roast it needs variety and a decent amount. Came home and had something to eat. Informed them I was not happy I pushed for a reduction. I got a sweet for £5.25 was definitely not worth the money. Will never go back.

This place is OK. Friendly enough, but a bit like a chain pub. Worth a visit if you are in the area though, good selection of drinks. They also serve food. And had a quiz night the night we went, but also we were OK NOT joining in and sitting in the side room

Just eaten here, all of the food made on site or sourced locally, such a rare thing to find now. Husband had pie and I had the chilli, it was all really great. You should all be proud of yourselves Well done, thoroughly recommend

Booked in for Sunday Lunch, managed to fit us in on the day. Sat round the back of the bar, service was a little slow. Ordered 2x roast beef dinners with cauliflower cheese. The beef was nice, a little on the pink side, the roast potatoes were well seasoned and tasty, one of mine was a little overdone, carrots are well cooked, not the best cauliflower cheese I’ve had but not bad either, Yorkshire pudding was a bit naff, crispy edges that just turn to dust, the stuffing was really odd, the flavour of it was nice but the texture was like a biscuit & the colour was a bit underdone, cabbage sides were nice, the gravy is very watery. The chef is a big fan of thyme so the flavour is definitely there. Overall rated the food 4/5, the service was slow 3/5 and the atmosphere has been marked down due to the dog issue. Seems to be a problem everywhere now so if you’re a dog lover, not a problem. If you care about hygiene & don’t enjoy animals in your eating space or don’t enjoy listening to 2 dogs barking & yapping at each other during your meal, then probably avoid.

Extremely disappointed. Salmon with Miso sauce and rainbow vegetables. Only had one lot of vegetables they were that burnt think they were supposed to be parsnips. Only part of the Christmas Meal which tasted very nice was the Sorbet

What a difference a year makes as they have changed the chief and the standard has dropped off-two types of cabbage for vegetables,flat Yorkshire and 2 small roasties- lamb shank was good.

They really knew how to make Margaritas.

Sunday lunch. A-ma-zing! Just popped in at 330pm and was eating a lovely roast beef dinner ten minutes later.

Had the chilli and it was lovely nice spice to it. Followed by the peanut and chocolate cheesecake which I really enjoyed as it wasn't overly sweet .

Great atmosphere even when quiet, enjoyed 2 pints of Guinness, good poor however tastes a bit plasticky for my liking, knowledgable bartenders and great selection of bar snacks including pipers crisps and dormen nuts

We were just passing on a day, when they had brought out a new menu. I loved the option of restaurant seating, or you pop to the bar to order. Fabulous staff, delicious food, presented beautifully. We just walked in around 5.30pm. I suspect I may have to book in future though as it soon filled up. Really like this venue 💜

Seen this pub a few times when visiting Lincoln but never called in until today and I was very pleasantly pleased.cosy atmosphere, good array of drinks and especially guiness so couldn't help myself so I ordered one.the staff are very friendly and polite.my kind of pub especially when getting a window seat looking over the marina.they also have a good food menu so next time I visit I will definitely give the food a try.

We came to Lincoln to visit our daughter at university and chose to eat here as it is dog friendly. Sooo glad we did. The food and service were excellent and they even have a menu for dogs we'll definitely be back.

Wow, food here was amazing. Had the Lamb Shawarma and it's one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Staff were great too, drinks were good. Can't recommend highly enough.

Visited on a quiet Sunday evening between 10 and 11 pm. We were with a group of 8. The place has a warm atmosphere. The others enjoyed their cocktails. Not a "must" but a nice place to enjoy a few drinks.

Not over happy that the default puddings are Vegan / Vegetarian based, we ordered the peach pudding with ice cream only to find it was disgusting as it wasn’t proper ice cream. The menu isn’t clear it showing this, they could simply put Vegan Ice Cream rather then Ice Cream and having a (V) above the list ? Wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Well we fell upon this lovely pub while visiting Lincoln for the day with our 3 dogs. It was so friendly towards us and our dogs. We ordered food and our dogs had food from the doggy menu. It was fair to say they scoffed the lot. I can’t recommend this lovely pub highly enough. Can’t wait to visit again when back in Lincolnshire.

Whilst awaiting the cinema we popped in for a drink and some pudding. Staff very friendly, lovely interior and will definitely return for a full meal when the need arises.

So,we called in for a quick drink at 9 pm Saturday night. Ordered a pint of Neck Oil ( absolutely fantastic) and a double Archers and lemonade for my better half. I noticed that our bartender was struggling with the fitting on the Archets bottle, which drew my gaze. The first measure was fine, but the second measure was short due to the bottle being empty. Instead of getting another bottle to top up my ordered drink, she then went to the lemonade dispenser and filled the glass up, I challenged her on the short measure, and she replied it was."" It was clear it wasn't, but I paid for it. This leads me to this review. I have no problem paying for anything, but I don't like being short-changed, so I feel aggrieved. Warm flat inches cider not nice

Went for Sunday lunch and my 8 year old is very fussy. The manager bent over backwards to adjust a menu for him whilst not putting costs up. Very good standard of food and all staff very efficient. Will be back.

Visited with my partner and two friends for a Sunday dinner and we were not disappointed. Very reasonable price, delicious food and great service catering for my partner's allergies. I personally had the chicken dinner and it was moist, succulent and full of flavour and I would definitely recommend it. The others had the beef and lamb which they said were also great. It's a great spot for a bite to eat or just a drink by the Brayford on a sunny day. A lovely calming atmosphere and traditional feel is what I hoped for and it was exactly that. Do yourself a favour and go check it out if you haven't already

We came from Buckinghamshire to do a Regency Ball which has been cancelled. However as I have an old college friend that lives in Lincoln and being as I had paid for a b&b we decided to come up anyway. Having not eaten since breakfast I was hungry so we decided to eat at this pub on the Bradford quay and it didn't disappoint. The pork belly was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. Put it this way it was hot presented nicely and I cleared the plate. The servers were very friendly and it had a nice ambience.

Really good menu options including veggie, varied daily specials, plus excellent service (thanks Kadie) and good value for money. I enjoyed lunch with friends here and I'm looking forward to going again 👍

Went Monday lunch, I have ceoliacs disease unfortunately was unable to eat here as they had nothing available. Been here previously and had a delicious Sunday roast. Staff are lovely. But really need to upgrade their gluten free menu.

Went to the King William IV on Friday evening 21st June. Ordered and paid for one pint Timothy Taylor beer and one large Sauvignon Blanc and was charged £16.35. How on earth can they justify that cost in a pub that has no entertainment or atmosphere. Scandalous, never to be repeated.
