When I went on a quiet midweek , the place was calm and the staff attentive. The drinks range was as expected with several beers on plus a very good range of gins.

Terrible service. Waiting at the bar to be served and mangers don't care who has been waiting longer and serve other without thought. I asked a blonde lady with glasses why this is and was told she didn't care. This is why the app is used and absolutely no customer service skills in the management team which is a shame as most of the bar team are very polite and good at their jobs.

This Wetherspoons is the worst place we as 2 couples have visited, dirty, the trolley near us was absolute.y filthy, my husband and our friend had ordered fish/chips, the order arrived one at a time with quite a wait in between, my husbands arrived first, we.l the piece off fish o his plate was not recognisable as fish, the most smallest piece off really just batter, absolutely horrible, I then went to the bar and asked for the manager, he agreed to change it, under protest stating it was the portion, I was not having any of it, it arrived 15 mins later, another plate arrived for my friend 10 mind after my husbands, another 10 mins I asked where are my and my friends meal, hers arriveded another 10 mins later , fish / chips, her fish I am convinced it was the same fish that I had returned from my husbands plate, she refused that plate. I then again asked for the manager, guess what, a different manager, he was certainly not off management material untidy looking boy, he was sent as the manager could not face up to me, he said our friend could have refund to which she did, now, I am still editing for mine, 25 mins later, it came with chips and I ordered mash potatoes, it was returned, when it finally arrived the other 2 had finished there's, my meal was not the best, on second thought we should have had total refunds and walked out, absolutely rubbish

Avoid the early drinkers and have a more than acceptable breakfast at The Ritz. Friendly and helpful staff who ho the extra mile. Nice food at affordable prices. No skin on the beans and the toast is cooked.

Superb American breakfast. Lincolnshire sausages always a winner and pancakes with bacon absolutely delicious. Very friendly service and free refills on tea and coffee. Cannot fault this place.

Called in for breakfast on bank holiday Monday ,appreciate we arrived at 11:20am and breakfast menu is on till 11:30 sat and waited outside for our order to be taken decided just before 11:30 to find the server to order at the bar,chap behind the bar pleasant and took the order only for the kitchen to complain about the order for breakfast being late... when the food came out all of the breakfast was cold apart from the hash brown ,,told the other male waiter who just said sorry. Don’t think I’ll be returning to the Ritz..

Staff are rude and abrupt, waited ages at the door for a staff member to march over with a grumpy face to be escorted to a table with no manners !!!! Waited around 40 - 50 minutes for food asked waiters who ignored us server all time’s with no apology when it arrived. Missed items off of our order. Pub is dark and filthy to top off a bad experience. Avoid this place !!!

First impressions, untidy, dirty. Checked in via Track and Trace app, the told to find own table. There were 5 of us, only table big enough..... Having wandered around and around, was a used, dirty plate laden table. We were 2 households, but weren't allowed to sit at seperate tables...... So eventually got the grumpy waitress to clear a table.Ordered for, X5 breakfasts, all arrived and at best, luke-warm, the likes of beans etc stone cold. We asked different waitress if the beans could be sorted...... Told wes get new ones....... 25 mins later none had arrived.Now I've been to a few Wetherspoons for breakfast, this place is pitifully poor.Between the decor, service and poor food, it's lucky to get 1 star....... And that's only because we actually got a seat!!Oh yeah and the amount of people who walked straight in, no check in etc and no checks by staff......... Terrible place.

I went twice on the 24th October first my pizza was undercooked and tasted of flower the second time I had chicken bites and they came cold and stale I don’t expect a lot from such a cheap place but they need to learn how to cook food it isn’t hard

Coming from a clothes retail worker, understanding the stress of service, I have never witnessed something so ridiculous. I work throughout Covid-19 so fully understand regulations, they have a massive queue at the door with no one standing there to help you, people just decided to walk in (including ourselves) & it takes forever to get your food. We didn’t see anyone come near the door when there were about 10 families waiting outside for about 15 minutes, awful awful service, especially throughout Covid. Would not recommend.

Very unfriendly manager. I didn’t catch his name but he had ginger hair and wore glasses. He wasn’t very welcoming and was very arrogant

Having just returned from three nights in Lincoln I was pleasantly surprised by my Weatherspoons experience. Unable to get into any of the Eat out to help out restaurants, this pub and the Squre Sail kept me fed three evenings on the trot.For years I have always thought this chain was the pub of last resort...how stupid and short sighted approaching the bar and seeing Doom Bar for £1.79 a PINT!!! yes £1.79 was an epiphany, then food and a free drink for not a great deal more almost felt as if I had travelled back to my early teens.Beer was great not watered down, the food was delivered in good time hot and tasty, for the price and service amazing and if you just take a step back and not expect your food to be crafted by a top chef then you and your wallet leave a lot happier.Now I know why the place was busy and full of life, not a dead on its backside pub with no atmosphere. The format and style is yes a little dated but Weatherspoons have really nailed this concept and provide good honest food and drinks at bargain prices delivered by hardworking and very helpful staff.Thanks weatherspoons....will be looking for more Doom bar at this pocket money prices! and don't forget the app is so simply and a real winner for a relaxed evening no queueing at the bar.

Came in here today and had the large breakfast, when I got the breakfast there was no mushrooms. The lady that served me at the till, with a pink headband should have said that we have not got any mushrooms. As that was the reason why I chose the large breakfast, as the other breakfast's did not have mushrooms on the menu. There was no tomato or hp sauces and there was some dessert items, out of stock. This is not the first time I have had issues, over breakfast at the Ritz. Other then that we all had a nice breakfast.

This has to be the worst dining experience ever. A mixed grill where a pile of meat is dumped on the plate, hiding the smallest field mushroom imaginable, no mustard - whoever would want that with such a meal? A bean chilli where the ‘chef’ forgot to take off the microwaveable bag for the rice as it was served on the plate, nachos thrown on the floor by the waiter in an attempt to serve them and promptly left uncleared. Surly waiting staff who tell you to sit down while you attempt to make a phone call away from the noise of chatter. Half the menu missing because an order didn’t arrive earlier. Tim Martin, this place is an utter shambles and you have the audacity to take my money off me. Never visiting again. An utter pile of cow dung.

This place is always on the list when in Lincoln. It's a while since we have been but the pub is still great value and has a good choice of food and drink.We only called in for a few drinks this time but will definitely be back.

Came in for food with my friends and we ordered through the app. We had all ordered drinks and before i could notice she gave the wrong drink she left the table. When I went to the bar to rectify this mistake the man who served me was really rude. He told me I should have said when she gave us the drinks but it took us a minute to go through who ordered what. He proceeded to roll his eyes at me and take the drink from my hand and slam the new one on the bar. Not only this but my food was cold and slimy. Not impressed.

Went in the other morning for breakfast. Not much of a breakfast fan, I was just really hungry! By god has this changed. Iv been craving it since. So yummy, so cheap and free coffee refills. Lovely environment and clean toilets which you don’t see often in a student town hahaThe guy that brought our food out was very pleasant and happy. He was telling us some history of the building and how other Wetherspoons are also built in novelty buildings. I had no idea this was a cinema! He definately deserves a pat on the back- Tall gent, medium build with a patterned shirt on and long hair tied back. (If your reading this, you made my day). Will definately be making this a regular breakfast spot for myself

I was out with friends on Monday evening (2/3/20) and I was shocked to see the duty manager squeezing lemons/limes into a cocktail jug on the bar that one of the staff was prepping for a customer. He was doing this with his bare hands and was saying to staff, this is how you squeeze them. He thought it was funny. This happened around 8.15 pm that evening.

Much better than it has been in the past. The new ish manager (loud shirts and long hair) has got this place running much better than it has been for ages. It's not perfect and still sometimes suffers from lack of clean tables etc, but far better.

Visited for a quick beverage. The surroundings were typically what you’d come to expect, staff friendly and drinks decent quality.

We came to Ritz just because we wanna spend couple hours to take rest and eat.We get food really fast but we go for smoke for 3 minutesAnd live our staff on table full food full drinks, after we come back and food was taken off the table.Manager who run restaurant said that we can't took refund and get another food. How he said its not their responsibility, we not left the place just go for smoke.Its not confident and polite for the manager to say that its not his business.So please guys let you know that even manager not competive and don't wanna to sort out this issue

Went in 2 nights running, during our stay in Lincoln. Only had Drinks so can’t comment on food. The first night we got talking to the landlord who was very friendly and gave me lots of background to the building. Fab drinks

So tried this Wetherspoons for the first time ever , although I used to live in Lincoln I never really had the appeal to visit. After tonights visit I now understand why it was never worth the visit. The place was untidy and the food was somewhat uncooked. Rumour is obviously spoons is ready meals warmed up however this then questions why my chicken was raw and why my partner has now left with an upset stomach and sickness from the Tikka Masala. Also my Carling was flat. The only reason why this restaurant got a 2 instead of a 1 is the fact that the staff genuinely seemed a delight to talk too. They started conversations and genuinely knew how to do their job so I do definitely feel awful for this review. However with this aside I do not recommend this Wetherspoons and personally will not be visiting this restaurant again :(

Only visited here for drinks so cannot comment on food. Served very quickly by friendly staff and as per Wetherspoons standard pricing - paid next to nothing for a couple of pints. Bonus. The pub itself is set in an old cinema / theatre and is really nice. The only downside is the tables seem to be set out in the middle much like a school class in rows which is a bit weird - other than that a pleasant enough experience and would return again.

Went in with my husband for some food as when we have been in the past it’s good value for money especially with cheap alcoholic drinks (always a winner) it was sort of busy but wasn’t too bad. We both ordered Christmas dinner as we had been doing Christmas shopping. I don’t know what it was when it turned up but it wasn’t our idea of a Christmas dinner at all!! Only plus side was husband had refillable coffee and I had a alcoholic beverage for an extra fee with our meals! Sorry Wetherspoons but you let the side down badly!!! The mash potato if you could even call it that was horrible, I went to lift a little part up and the whole one side of the pile moved! The pigs in blankets were burnt. The rest I just can’t explain it was that bad!! I hardly ate any of my meal(even with sauce added for extra flavour) If I could rated it zero I would of!

If I could give this review less than 1 star I most definitely would. We went here on Tuesday 11th December for a family meal. We should have known better, when we arrived most of the unoccupied tables were dirty and laden with empty plates e.t.c. We went to the bar to order our food, four out of the five meals were available but after four failed attempts I ended up with my fifth choice from the menu. We were told that the unavailability was down to the fact that they had been very busy over the Christmas market weekend. That was two days prior to our visit, if that was the actual reason then I think that the Senior Manager should be sacked for Gross Negligence. What a farce and when our food did arrive it was mediocre to say the least and to top it off my wifes meal arrived 5 minutes after ours. Don't call in here for food.

Ordered a steak cooked rare came overcooked and because I had left it till last and ate all the chips and veg they wouldn’t swap it or do anything staff ok but will not eat in any weatherspoons again

We came as a group of three and all had to wait at least 20 minutes for one persons food and no staff apologised and talked quite rudely to us and the food was absolutely shocking.we had the all day breakfast which came with hardly cooked sausages and bacon and about a teaspoon of beans. All i ate was the chips which werent even nice either. Never coming back rubbish!!!!! Only good for a pint. Whys there no choice for zero rating

Having visited Ritz a couple of years ago my colleague and I decided to have a quick drink whilst waiting for our train on Tuesday 26th Nov and again we found it clean and tidy (inc toilets) and lovely open fire. The bar service was attentive and friendly. I noticed that it was the usual Steak Club Tuesday (£8.30 8oz sirloin including a drink, usually I have a pint of 1664) which we have eaten at other branches and always found them excellent value, already eaten earlier in the day otherwise would have had a steak..

My wife and I ate here during an overnight stay in Lincoln. It was the first time we had stayed in the city and looked forward to trying the local Wetherspoons on our travels. We were there in the evening and outside it was beautifully lit up in neon lights, so very appealing from outside. Inside the building reflected the art-deco style of the original cinema, with multi-levels of seating in what would have been the expansive foyer of the cinema.

Arriving at the pub to watch the England semi-final I was looking forward to a full English and a pint of Guinness, which certain other venues couldn't provide. After ordering food and a drink with no problems, I asked if the match could be shown on the TV facing the half of the room I was sat at. The response was that they couldn't show the same thing on multiple TVs. I questioned it and they said they would ask the manager and get back to me. Bit of a weak excuse if you ask me. Anyway, after waiting a fair bit the manager nor the staff member I asked responded to me and we were reduced to watching it on our phones propped up against the vinegar bottle. Not the best customer service especially given it was a popular event.

Wetherspoons are known for keeping the character of the buildings that they take over and this one is no exception. The bar and seating area takes in what was once the huge foyer of this cinema.

As a wheelchair user The ritz, being on 3 levels isn't ideal, however there is a lift and ramp to assist, just a pain going up in lift then down ramp to serving area. Accessible toilets are on middle level so it's back up the ramp, negotiate the laberinth of tables and pinch points spoons insist on creating in there establishments and your there. I'm aware of the table service app but prefer it at the bar. Otherwise decent enough boozer usual menu with enthusiastic staff.

Always look for a Wetherspoons when away as usually get value for money.

Served quickly and on the whole food was as expected on both visits. Quite a contrast to the Square Sail.

We ordered two drinks using Wetherspoons app directly to our table and after waiting 10 minutes no drinks appeared, we saw one of the staff get our drinks ready only to wait a further 5 minutes and they were still sat unattended on the end of the bar. My husband enquired about our drinks and they were brought 20 minutes after ordering with a half assed apology. Not good customer service !!

The floor staff were great. Fred the duty manager, Tom and Alex were so friendly.

A small group evening meal, with it being a "Curry Thursday" themed evening, the majority of partiers had a curry, which they were happy with the portion, though the breads being a little dry & cool but still edible!! I having ordered a basic Gammon, egg & chips, even I was pleasantly surprised!! This was nice, filling & a good quantity too. The service all round was pleasant, friendly & complimentary in receiving satisfactory comments from the party & I!! Thanks all

Used to be a good place but now dirty and badly run.

Very useful that this restaurant opens at 8am, so that I was able to have an early breakfast. Great choice of items and very reasonable prices. The service was very quick but obviously the place was not very busy. Really enjoyed the food.

We were in Lincoln for the day shopping so popped in for lunch, disappointed as they had ran out of fish so had to order an alternative so went for pizza and chips the service was very efficient staff very friendly the ambiance was relaxed and chilled will definitely go back when we are in Lincoln again.

We visited today for breakfast, my husband had ordered a large breakfast but when it arrived there wasn’t any bacon on the plate, so our son spoke to a member of staff who then went to the kitchen but we sat and waited for at least 20 minutes and nothing came and no apologies, so we left disappointed, so will not be going back again

Came in for a meal with my family, had to sit at a dirty table and didn't see a member of staff for atleast 20 minutes so someone could wipe the table. As I ordered the food got told there was no mash during the lunch time period. However we got 2 large Pepsi's, got back to the table to find out the syrup had gone so had to take them back, the bar staff that served me a young lass couldn't of had more of an attitude,as she slapped the 2 pints in front of me after she redid them even though there still flat. 2nd time coming here with the same people and nothing but problems. Not a happy experience

I could definitely make a better jacket potato at home, it was crumbly and dry, not hot just warm, but still edible. No butter provided. Dark and extremely old fashioned interior, so dark it hurt my eyes when I walked outside. Probably to hide the bad decor inside. It reminds me of pubs in the 90s where people could smoke, and interiors to match. Very strangely laid out, as well. The Wetherspoons on the Brayford is much better, the Square Sail. 2/3 vegan options, so hardly any choice (not including the side portions of food you wouldn't have as a meal e.g. chips, mushy peas). Obviously the prices are OK £5 for a jacket and drink. But the portions/quality/decor definitely reflects that, if not over priced for what you get. My jacket was supposed to come with roasted veg, which you got maybe 1 tbsp full of in tiny cut up pieces clearly from a frozen bag. Not appetising, and under seasoned.

Sunday lunchtime very busy. When we ordered the food we were advised that there would be a 30 minute wait. Fine with that when they tell you on the onset. The food was typical Wetherspoons which we enjoy and so reasonably priced. The staff were very nice too. The only complaint here was the condition of the ladies toilet (men's okay) which were dire. Can only think there was a plumbing problem as there was a hazard warning sign in there.

The food was okay here, I wouldn’t recommend the garlic bread I’ve had much nicer but I suppose for the price it’s not too bad. The staff are all lovely and very friendly

My wife and a couple of friends visited on 7th July 2019 ,later in the afternoon for a quick lunch. All orders were taken, about 20 minutes later a young lad brought the meals, I had ordered a steak and kidney pudding with mash , peas and gravy. I tried to cut into the pudding which broke in half ,it was so hard been micro waved to death the inside where the meat should have been was black, the peas were like hard gravel, again nuked to death. I complained to the young lad who shrugged and said he would bring a fresh one. I waited 15 minutes no dinner came, the others had finished their meal.i asked a young waitress where my dinner was .apparently it had been left on the side in the kitchen.when it arrived it was worse than the first one. I was furious and found a guy who looked and dressed like a manager.he was very apologetic suggested I had something like egg ham and chips which was quick. This did come very quickly and in fairness was ok ,but not exactly what I wanted. We use wethers all over the country and find them good on the whole. Would I use the Ritz in Lincoln again .no never . I might add that I received a full refund for my meal.

Came back here to have a dink.Last in the sixties.There when it was a cinema.Exterior virtually unchanged.Inside what I would call faux art deco.Still at least it is still standing and open as a pub..

My boyfriend and I pop here almost weekly with our daughter. We love it! It is always busy, yet the food always arrives crazy fast! We order using the app and the drinks arrive within minutes.

Fairly central, The Ritz is a decent, largish Wetherspoons. A good atmosphere, good friendly customer base in. A good staff, prompt service and excellent menus and great value for money worth a visit

Very busy and popular at lunch time. Enormous choice of food whatever your preferences. We enjoyed the free coffee refills too.

Great venue. Only walked here from the Square Sail because they had a kitchen problem. Food was excellent Wetherspoon fayre, and although there was a wait on (Bank Holiday Monday) it arrived brisk and piping hot. Great service, with just a couple of minor things. Cutlery wasn't clean, although they were busy so the kitchen could easily have missed it and the waiting staff replaced it immediately. The server missed an item that came to light later. I didn't realise until they came to ask if we'd received it, and they insisted on providing the garlic bread to us, but nonetheless I'd already finished my main. Not perfect, but even while busy the service was good and the pub environment tip top. Lovely venue, and presumably consistently excellent when not too busy. Definitely recommend a visit.

Food and service definitely improving, some very friendly and helpful bar and waiting staff. Food and drink good for the price you pay - at the end of the day it's a spoons pub not sure what people are expecting. Special mention to Joe for the Wednesday night quiz always upbeat, cheerful and friendly.

We went their for our breakfast which is good. The staff was helpful despite its busy when Lincoln City playing Tranmere Rovers. The breakfast was good and tasty as well with good staff with services. It would be nice the pub have refurbish or bit of lick of paint as well.

Weds morning for breakfast. Very good value for what you get. If you know what you're expecting I don't think you'll be disappointed.

a old cinema that has been converted in to a Wetherspoons we visited on the night for drinks and were served by a very friendly young man had breakfast there next morning and again friendly and no problems with the food great to see all the old photos and art deco touches but it is perhaps times to revarnish the woodwork and have a paint up very handy if you are staying the Travelodge around the corner.

Waited for over half an hour for one drink. Unacceptable in this type of establishment. No apology from staff either. Unbelievable.

On March 23rd me & my partner arrived in Lincoln,first port of call was The Ritz, cheap & cheerful weatherspoons for lunch, my partner had the lamb shank, that early evening with nothing else in our stomachs she began to feel unwell, she suffered a really bad headache, vomiting & diherea. I would avoid this place for food, we certainly did for the rest of our trip.

Lovely old building, an ex-cinema, set on the High Street. Inside it's quite dark, with numerous grubby, dirty and uncleared tables during our visit. There's a general worn and unkept feel about the place, but the prices are decent.

Have eaten in a lot of Wetherspoon's over the years but this one was dreadful. Friday lunchtime in was crowded not unexpected with half term but the service and cleanliness was awful. Found dirty table sat down other half went to the bar to order. Waited at bar 15 minutes for order to be taken two very disgruntled staff when asked if they were take orders from the bottom were told there are only two of us and the beer barrels need changing. I tidied up the table and left the plates and glasses to one side but they were not taken away util I asked the server who brought our meal if they could be taken away. Plates taken but the glasses remained and were still there when we left. No attempt to clean the table. My other half got the wrong meal and my gammon meal tasted like fish, not sure if this was the gammon or the half cooked chips that came with this. We left and will not be returning.

As ever when visiting different towns and cities, we find the Wetherspoons, we did afternoon drinks and food and also breakfast. Can’t fault the place for value, though window seats were really cold. Sitting by the fire place was nice if you could the seat

A former cinema with some lovely original features and an attractive blue and red neon frontage. From an ever increasing vegan menu we really enjoyed the roasted vegetables and the five bean chilli, which was appetising and flavoursome with a decent chilli kick, accompanied by Mexican rice and tortilla chips. I was surprised to see a vegan friendly cask beer, Beermats 'Format', and the personable member of staff behind the bar told me they had another vegan ale on draught in the last week or two. We finished with some pretty good tasting coffee and a vegan apple crumble which was delicious, nicely textured with plenty of fruit and a hint of cinnamon. All the staff were very polite and pleasant with a friendly manner so well done to all the team including the unseen kitchen crew.

Terrible - they had run out of steaks - mixed grills - gammon - on a Tuesday evening - some people were really annoyed - then they ran out of two beers I had ordered - at 7pm they only had 1 member of staff serving this then increased to 2 - it was utter chaos!

Had a drink in this place with friends. We were watching a comedy video on my phone when a grossly overweight bouncer came over looking very smug and aggressive told us to keep the noise down.

So for £28 for a meal and drink each for 4 your not expecting “the Ritz” but this Ritz failed to deliver on all levels. You expect that for the pricing there are compromises to make, portion size, menu choice etc etc but what should never be compromised on is quality and we were delivered a cremated baked potato that seemed to have been cooked within inches of its life to the extent the outer part was inedible, a potato requires basic culinary skill... add to that dirty uncleared tables and incorrect order delivered to us... it’s just not good enough and showed a lack of quality control, the place was busy enough so care to the customer is not a consideration because behind us are multiple numbers of people prepared to accept such rubbish.

Went to Ritz on Friday 30th November around 1pm. It was very busy but we found a couple of tables free although clogged up with dirty dishes. A waitress walked past our table and ignored the fact that the table needed to be cleared. We asked her to do so and she wiped the crumbs and pieces of paper on the floor and walked away. We checked the floor around us and it was dirty with pieces of food, crumbs and general litter. We decided to leave. A shame really as this particular venue has been fine in the past. Some staff training needed in this respect. Will go elsewhere in future.

The Ritz in Lincoln is probably the worst managed pub in the chain in terms of staff management.

Popped in as we don’t live local visiting our father in law. Used many weather spoons but this wins the trophy of worst ever. Not just cold food but parts of it actually tasted like it had been cooked in the fridge. More food on the floor than anything. For desperados only

This is my local pub, sells decent ale at reasonable prices. I’ve never had a bad meal in here too, it’s always been spot on. Far better than the Other Wetherspoons on the Brayford.

La comida era buena pero el servicio pobre. Bar Suoerviser me ignoró la primera vez. Luego se sirve sin una sonrisa y luego se olvida una de nuestras bebidas. La comida fue servida. Persona apuntada a los condimentos. Había seis sets en la mesa. No había ketchup en ninguna de las botellas y solo mayonesa en una. Es una pena que le haya dado 5 estrellas a muchos Wetherspoons.

Boyfriend had a burger meal, absolutely no complaints i tried it as well and it tasted perfect and you could tell it was fresh. I had bangers and mash, and mash is my favorite food and you could tell it was microwave stuff it was chewy. You don't expect mash to be chewy. That ruined it a little for me along with the fact we had to sit ourselves at a dirty table and all the onlt available ones were dirty. Plates had been cleared but table had clearly not been wiped for a while and fair enough we didnt ask but did not want to bother staff especially as they were busy with all the drunks. However staff that served us were really polite and cheerful. And the cookie dough dessert is absolutely to die for. Really cheap too. Usually have no problems in Wetherspoons pubs with my normal meals but thought I'd try something different. I will say the sausages were spot on too. Overall I would still reccomend, as food was hot it was quick service ill just order something else next time!

Visité en un pub lluvioso el domingo estaba bastante ocupado, usé la aplicación en línea que fue muy rápida y sin la complicación, el único inconveniente fue que las mesas quedaron en mal estado y no fueron eliminadas antes de que nos sentáramos, pero la comida era buena y el personal todo bien

She Was not stood at the bar, she was aprox 4 feet away.I was the so called regular, i did not give her looks or the bar staff rude. If she works in the resturant trade she should know you stand at the bar to get served. Yes i am local to Lincoln and i do come here. Out of my visits no staff have been rude, this is a hard job.

Really cheap place to eat and very popular. Struggled to get a seat and staff were very slow, well not enough of them, in cleaning tables and removing plates etc. Can't complain about the food as had the pizza and it was spot on. Would use the app to order food as far quicker.

Visited on 27th September and the service from the woman behind the bar was a disgrace. She ignored those waiting and served what appeared to be a regular here first, who only seconds before walked up to the bar. Once stated that there was a queue she expressed in a harsh tone that ‘We should have been standing closer to the bar’ and then stated that she refused to serve me. Seconds after I heard her moaning and talking badly about me to her colleague and the regular to whom she served beforehand, and continued to direct unpleasant and ‘dodgy’ looks in my direction.

A great old cinema building. Cheap beer and food. Standard whetherspoons menu. Busy and can take a while to find a table if you're a few of you.

This is a wetherspoons pub .In an old Theater ,Nice seeing the signed pictures on the wall of stars .Food ok I had a burger .Which could have been hotter but it was ok .Somewhere to go for a reasonable bite to eat .It was quite busy in here on a sunday night .

Visited lunchtime on a Thursday. Had a Chicken Club deal of grilled chicken breast, chips and coleslaw with a drink for £6.99 So as usual with Wetherspoons, good value.

Visited here last year and decided to visit again this year. What a let down! Although a busy Thursday night, the beer tasted 'sour', and the food was very poor. Burnt chicken burger, chips that had been cooked at least twice and were very greasy, and a rock hard pannini with hardly any filling. Not a patch on our last visit and we will not be returning.

Great breakfast as always. My breakfast is always cooked exactly as I like it. Friendly pleasant staff too. 😁

Having booked a table a week in advance for 15 people we were disappointed to arrive and see no table ready.

Met family for lunch, place was busy ,but we found a table ,just vacated by previous diners. Table was cleared by staff member but she didn't return to clean the spillage on it , so we mopped up ourselves. Placed orders, informed approx 30 minutes wait for food, so enjoyed iced drinks and chat. When my meal was served it was quite visible that the lasagne was also attached to some of the plastic it had clearly been microwaved with .!!!!!!!!! Pointed this out to waiter when he returned with remainder meals , clearly apologetic and I was offered a refund and replacement meal promptly. Also had to request clean cutlery for family member as had food remains on it. Guess the value was appropriate to the standard served in this instance. Disconcerting that whoever placed the lasagne on the plate, didn't take the time to ensure it was free from packaging in the first place, however busy they were, customer safety is paramount.

Visited this pub on a busy Saturday before we went to Lincoln F.C. , it was very busy , there wasn’t many tables but we found one and I used the weatherspoon app ordering food and drink , the drinks took around 15 minutes to be served and the food about 35 minutes, as usual it was great for the money

We spent a few days in Lincoln on holiday and tried various places to eat including this Wetherspoons. As the name suggests, it's a former cinema, and what a lovely building. The menu and prices were decent as always with this chain. The staff were friendly and despite it being busy - Thursday Curry Night - we found a seat and got served relatively quickly. If your mobility isn't great you can sit near the entrance. Well recommended.

My hubby and I haven’t been in for a while, and were surprised by the changes made to the menu. I was disappointed to see that the 8oz Rump steak had been removed from the menu, and only 14oz available- which is far too big for me!

I came into the restaurant for a beer with friends however, my cousin had to come to me after his dog had been to the vets. I asked him to wait in the beer garden and to get to the beer garden you have to walk round to the end of the street and its on the corner. A member of staff came out when I met up with my cousin and told me to drink up as the dog was not allowed in the garden even though she was quiet and under the table out of the way. She was on the lead and there was no signage of no dogs allowed. I informed the member of staff that I was about to go as soon as i had drunk my pint. He then went in and around 10 minutes later another member of staff came out and told me that I had to hurry up and drink my drink. I informed the member of staff that again I was finishing my pint and that I would go as soon as I had finished and that the dog was doing no harm. He did not like this and got my cousin very upset so my cousin went to stand outside Argos with his dog and my friend. The member of staff then stated that had I made my dog stand on its own which it was not as I had my cousin in seeing distance. The member of staff then became very argumentative and demanded that I went as he did not like my attitude and told me that I was barred. I asked to speak to management however, no management was available to speak to. I drunk my pint and left the pub.

In for breakfast. It's an attractive 1930's former cinema building and I think that one of the good things Weatherspoons do is to take unusual buildings and preserve them - I suspect that had W's not taken it on, the building would have been demolished.

I pop in here whenever I'm sitting in court for breakfast first thing. Always pleasant and my breakfast is cooked just as I like it. Really reasonable prices with free refills on drinks.

Went here the other day for a meal and a pint. all the tables were full of plates and glasses and the ones that were empty were greasy and sticky on the surface tops.

I sure many people like Ritz for there food which why I visited Ritz on this occasions. Being disabled and in my power chair I needed to use the disabled toilet which is on the upper level. There is a stair lift in place but it is out of order and has been for a long time.

Had originally intended just to visit for drinks before going to a restaurant nearby. However due to being unsure as to the restaurant reviews decided to stay here and eat. We both had the mixed grill. My steak was slightly tough and a little underdone for my liking but that's really the only fault we could find. Steak, sausage, gammon, pork, lamb, chips, mushroom, tomato and peas for a tenner (includes a drink, we had wine).....bargain! Finished off with a very tasty apple crumble. We aren't food snobs but certainly know what we like and for a pub chain meal, I would say this was great. Would definitely eat here again when in the area. Also they do pizzas which our local Weatherspoons don't. Saw a few pizzas go by our table and they did look very appetising.

Well apparently everyone has been moaning about them cancelling the roast dinner menu when they changed everything recently, we thought we'd save cooking and called in. For £9.99 we had a lamb shank each, with Marris Piper mash and veg. It also included an alcoholic drink, altogether adding up to a nice meal and excellent value.

Turned up for breakfast half 10 it was packed with some interesting characters, some on their second or third pints! Found a table in the window over looking a bus stop, two traditional breakfast ordered & refillable coffees £9.20, excellent value & quality served in a fantastic interesting restored Art Deco building.
