The best restaurants serving British food in Rothley and Thurcaston Charnwood East Midlands

Booked for afternoon tea for a friends 50th cannot fault the service it was excellent and the quality of the food was unbelievable there was so much we had to take it home as well

The food was well cooked and very tasty, and the service, although a bit slow was fine. However, our visit was spoiled by having to perch on stools at our table, although arriving at 1215. It seems that locals get first choice of seating so beware if you have back problems..

Foods always amazing as well as great service

Lovely evening. Good atmosphere, the staff wete very friendly and helpful. The food was extremely good. I would definitely recommend it.

Interesting place. Reasonable menu. Risotto spoilt by being overcooked, more like rice pudding. Also surprised that three of the glasses of wine I chose were out ot stock but still on the drinks menu

The food here is so nice! Everything on the menu is well presented, varied and delicious. Great choice of drinks as well! The design and atmosphere is amazing, there is a very well designed restaurant area that has a fire in the middle and feels really modern, a bar restaurant area as well as the pub section. Also, the outside seating area is great for the summer with comfy sofas and tables to sit and eat or drink at. Overall it is a lovely place to be and all the staff are really friendly and professional.

Great little spot for a bite to eat after our long dog walk at bradgate. Was very busy but the guys were still very attentive and gave great service . Definitely be back.

Great meal, lovely staff. This is such a gem of a place, great atmosphere. Tuesdays are very popular due to the quiz, which is great fun.
