Booked for afternoon tea for a friends 50th cannot fault the service it was excellent and the quality of the food was unbelievable there was so much we had to take it home as well

Definitely the loveliest pub I have visited! Such a lovely welcome, food excellent, ambience excellent, very comfortable. The best ladies loos I have ever used, beautiful. A pity I live in the south, too far for frequent visits. Local customers very friendly, too. Thank you.

For pub food outstanding and different enough to satisfy all

My mum and I had Christmas Dinner here 2024. The food was lovely!! Hannah and her team couldn’t do enough for us. The atmosphere was wonderful despite the staff having to work their own Christmas Day. The quality, quantity and presentation was outstanding and we were left feeling full and completely satisfied. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful village pub, whether for a lunch dinner or just a drink. Thankyou for making our Christmas Day a special and memorable one.!

Stayed in bridal suite night before wedding. The hotel is very dated and although it is a old hotel, the carpets and curtains need changing. The rooms are not clean at all And the breakfast is the worst breakfast I have ever tasted at 52 years of age. It tasted like the curtains looked and was not freshly cooked. Even the cereals and other breakfast bits had a horid taste. Also not a good place to stay if you are asthmatic

Great atmosphere, cosy and welcoming. The food was delicious! Serving staff were friendly, prompt service too. Menu options were good both on the main menu and festive menu. Good value for money
