Nice little place to stop for a cuppa etc. The food was very nice, however the only thing that really let the whole place down was the toilet. It is in what I guess was once an outbuilding, so it's very rustic to say the least!! I would imagine it will be baltic in there in the winter. The garden centre is great for plants etc, and the staff are really nice, but for heavens sake please upgrade the toilet as it really let's down the whole place.

Ordered chicken curry and lasagna both with garlic bread, what we were served was almost inedible, curry was dry no sauce to speak of, lasagna was almost vegetarian due to the lack of meat and garlic bread was smeared with what looked and tasted like garlic paste, summed up in one word... . Horrendous.

We chose Daisy's - from Tripadvisor reviews - as a halfway stopover on our trip between Lincolnshire and the Cotswolds. For a Monday lunchtime, the tearooms were very well supported; and, after our lovely meals and drinks, we could see why people would return to enjoy the hospitality and sustenance. Thank you to all staff concerned. (The toilet - provided for the nursery in a separate building - was ok.)

We’ve just got home from Daisys having had a fantastic afternoon tea. I can’t recommend this highly enough. The staff are welcoming, efficient, attentive and so friendly. The food was lovely, fresh, tasty and such great quality with an amazing variety. The sandwiches were freshly made on beautiful white and brown bloomer bread with lovely fillings. The salad and coleslaw fresh and great to add to the sandwiches. The scones were warm and beautifully crumbly and soft. The selection of cakes is just amazing, lovely, red velvet, Victoria sponge, carrot, coffee, brownies, raspberry and almond. The afternoon tea is superb value for money, we’ll definitely go again and would recommend it for friends, couples and families! You won’t be disappointed.

Friendly cafe within Brooklea garden centre. We sat outside and enjoyed 2 rich hot cafe Americanos. Very positive vibes from the staff in this busy establishment. The toilets are quite a distance away near the garden centre shop. The single wc is old and very basic. The drain on the floor was dirty. Definitely need cleaning and updated. Despite the poor toilet we will be back for coffee or lunch. This could be a 5 star with better toilets.

Had visited previously, just the once, but having read some positive reviews about the place following new ownership we decided to give it a try just at the end of October, just before the second lockdown came into play. Very impressed, couldn't fault the food or drink and the staff were both friendly and attentive. Plenty of tasty options on the menu for customers with gluten free requirements as well, as you tend to expect nowadays but still a huge plus for me. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

We visited Daisy’s on Wednesday afternoon. I’d just spent the morning watching my wife empty my wallet and fill my car with everything she thought she might ever need. I was starving and really needed something to eat, I was hangry, and there was Daisy’s. It was the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s added years into my wife’s life expectancy. Instead of killing my wife I decided that we should go there and have a bite to eat. The food was absolutely what I needed. I had a first rate bacon sandwich and coffee. My wife got to eat cake, which she loves. She enjoyed her cake and I enjoyed my bacon. The staff were lovely, polite, friendly, and helpful. The quality of the food was really good and whenever anybody asks for a recommendation I’m going to point them towards Daisy’s. We will be there again the next time we’re out and about. Hopefully next time I’ll still have some money left in my wallet.

Had lunch there yesterday. I ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich on Gluten free bread. No comments were made so thought everything was ok with my order. Our hot drinks came followed by our lunch. I had 3 bites out of my sandwich then thought best to double check with the cashier that the sausage is gluten free. Was told Yes then No. Unsure if I replied as I was horrified as I knew the pain that was going to come. Sat back down and burst into tears. The chef came to me after a few mins and kept on going on about the gluten free fad. I advised I wish I had the fad, but no I have coeliac disease and tomorrow/tonight I am going to be in agony. He then offered to make me another sandwich to which I said no as when I've been glutened in the past, I'm usually violently sick so need to keep my stomach empty. No offer to give me my money back. He did say that they had tried GF sausages in the past but the prepare/cook time is longer than 'normal sausages (and that there were sign about allergens around). Never heard anything like that in my life.

My mother in law took us for a wander around the garden centre on Easter Sunday, came here quite by accident as we were planning on going to Rowena and discovered it was closed - i'm glad it was! After having a look at all the lovely plants and trees (pushchairs sadly not recommended for some parts!) We decided to get a cup of tea as my MIL had been before and said it was good. Upon entering there were several friendly ladies who greeted us and got us a highchair for my little girl. The cake we ordered was maybe a little on the dry side but the cream you get with it softened it well enough and it was all lovely! As for value for money, it's a little out of my price range but not unreasonable by any means! There were also lots of beautiful items for sale such as handcrafted gifts, photo prints and teapots etc. Will probably return at some point.

I have visited many tea rooms over the months but this one was the hidden jewel. We made a reservation , however they called before hand to see if any special requirements. On arrival we were shown to our table for four then afternoon tea arrived. There was everything sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls ,chutneys, numerous home made cakes and scones with cream, even had strawberries.Included was drinks such as tea, coffee, Orange juice, Apple juice.Service was amazing ,nothing was too much trouble. There was so much food , we couldn't eat it all so was offered some foil to wrap some up and take home.Everything was Spot on and excellent value for money .Have booked to go again in July for my daughters birthday.Highly reccomended to anyone wanting value for money along with excellent service.Well done all x

A really wonderful place to eat. Good quality hearty food and the owners are so lovely especially if you have kids. Didn't really want to review it because now everyone will know about it!

Eight of us met for breakfast, we have been before and found it good previously. Good service. Good breakfast. Good value for the product. Friendly staff who can deliver what you ask for efficiently. If you haven't been before, toast and marmalade on side plate plus a great big breakfast if that's your choice. Heat the plates though and it would be better. Happily go back soon for another weekend breakfast treat.

It's not the cheapest place to eat - but the Garden Centre dragged us in and the Cafe was truly the icing on the cake - why you ask? Well yes the sandwiches are not cheap (start at £4.95!) but we had the Begel with Bacon and Cream Cheese and a Sausage Roll and beans - YUMMY! Add a scone and a perfectly made drink and you are in!Yes not much change out of £15 but you have to pay for good food - if you want cheap go to a well known pub brand!

Cards are also accepted which is good for the ones that don't carry cash prices are in comparison to other local garden centres and you get good sized portions so it's well worth a visit.

I visit the garden centre regularly yet in all the years hadn't stopped for food here.On recommendation me and my mum popped in on a Monday lunchtime. The tearoom is a delight, really quirky, bright and clean. There was ample staff on who were all really friendly and happy to help.We ordered a mini breakfast (which is far from mini) and jacket potato and salad. The menu is vast. All dietary needs catered for, especially Gluten Free, so perfect for anyone with an allergy, the cakes looked amazing and a regular there told us they're fabulous. The staff knew many of the customers, showing genuine interest for their latest news. I can't wait to go back.

Tuna baguette came with a large mixed salad of tomatoes grated carrot cucumber lettuce coleslaw and beetroot. A lot for lunch! Thoroughly enjoyable. Order at the counter rather than waitress service but food is brought to the table. Staff very friendly.I'll certainly pop in again for lunch if I'm in the area

We regularly pop into this place for a lunch, tea or when we are in the area. The food is always very fresh and decent portions. The place can be crowded around lunch times as the locals know it is the best place to eat in the area. You need to turn into Brooklea Nurseries which is a good place for a few plants a traditional Nursery more than a modern garden centre and the tearoom is located at the far end of the grounds but visible from the entrance.

Well the food hasn't even arrived yet and the service has been rude, surly and unfriendly. The place is freezing and the staff refused to put the heater on and then told us after 10 minutes of waiting, it would be 15 minutes for veggie sausage. Very overpriced. The breakfast was OK but beans and tomatoes, and eggs were tepid to say the least. Bloody awful.

My most favourite little deli! Have been coming here for 11+ years and have never left disappointed. The food is fantastic and whenever I take people there (generally grabbing lunch with a colleague) they're always impressed with the quality of the food. Personal favourites are the brie and bacon baguette and THE WORLDS BEST lemon cheesecake (chefs kiss). Only slight criticisms would be the place gets so busy it can mean can't always eat in (shows how good the place is) and they're closed on a Monday which tends to be the day I work in the office so can't always nip in to the best deli in Leicestershire.

A fantastic night with friends enjoying the cocktail masterclass with Jerome a great bartender and entertainer. Jerome knows his stuff, easily explaining what to mix and how, with a little bit of science too. We gratefully accepted the cocktails he made so effortlessly and then had a go at making our own, Jerome’s teaching style made this fun and easy and overcame any of our nerves with encouragement and humour. Thanks for helping us have a great night out 5⭐️

As it was a sunny day, the place was busy although we found a table. Recently the menu has changed in my view for the worst. Prices have leapt with choice not as good as it used to be. Although our order arrived in decent time one or two people who came in after us left upon being informed there was a waiting time of over 30 mins for cooked food. We have been regulars here but with the menu change and big increase in prices will sadly look elsewhere.

After a walk at Bradgate Park we chose to stop in here for brunch. We checked the menu outside and were surprised to find that the prices inside had been inflated quite considerably. Did they forget to change the menu outside? I think probably not. After waiting for a table we then sat down on a dirty table to order, waited half an hour for our food, which then came out lukewarm at best and really quite underwhelming. £70 for 3 breakfasts, 3 drinks and pancakes is certainly steep I'd say, but when it is such poor quality I'm not sure how this place gets the reviews it does.
