Food wasn't very warm when served. Never seen such a small portion of chips. Had 50% off voucher, would be very expensive without it for what we got

We sat by the fire enjoyed a lovely meal and everyone was so friendly. A special thanks to Noah who made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you to the team for a great evening.

Every visit here has never left me disappointed!! The staff are very welcoming and the food is amazing!! I really enjoyed the chicken parmigiana and halloumi fries!!

Very happy with our meal and service. Food was lovely and lots to choose from on the menu. The only thing I feel could have helped was a little more space around the tables. We were a little cramped and I had to keep moving to let people get into another room , which was a little awkward has I have mobility issues. Other than that we were very happy and will return at some point. Thank you.

food service and atmosphere were all top notch, and to top it off the service on saturday was phenomenal big thank you to thea for making sure me and my family had lovely meals i will be coming again in the near future

Not been here in a while but was pleased to see the same friendly faces waiting my table and presumably the same great chefs making my food, didn't get the name of the 2 young women with black hair who waited our table but considering it was a table of 4 (very hungry) people they both shown great hospitality, will definitely be back with the family after our next bimble through bradgate park 👍

I visited here yesterday with my family, the food was quickly served and tasted lovely. Thank you to Thea who was very sweet when serving us, and was very nice to the children with us.

Regularly come here - great friendly service and good quality food in the heart of Crospton. Right next to bradgate park and dog friendly - which is a bonus!

We had a delightful meal this evening and Billie was our server. She was very polite, helpful and learned that my niece is also called Billie and there aren’t many of them about! We both had chicken parmentier and a mini Bakewell tart with chai latte.

Really lovely food, we both had burgers, would recommend. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Thank you Billie!

Went for a wedding anniversary lunch. The service was very good, the atmosphere pleasant we both enjoyed our choices. We will return.

Went for a meal with the fellas mum and dad as we missed them over Christmas. Service was on point! She was a new girl and very bubbly and chatty, made us feel very welcome. Orders were taken, and food came within half an hour, though we weren't really keeping an eye on the time. Everything was served well presented, and it all looked fab. Food was hot and tasty and we all enjoyed our meals. Only 2 negatives.... The desserts we ordered, 2 crumbles, weren't very hot, unfortunately. Why were there portable fan heaters everywhere? The pub was warm and cosy with an open fire blazing in the main dining area, so they seemed unnecessary. Other than those things, we can not fault the Badgers Sett and definitely recommend for families and friends to meet for casual but tasty dining!

As always badgers sett is superb. Perfect setting for a family meal on NYE with a teenager for something abit more special. The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks so much Emily and staff. The singer was brilliant and my daughter was thrilled by all her choices of songs. Food was just 👌 I even changed my main choice after seeing the waitresses walking food around. I won a competition from Instagram. Thank you so much for picking me and still honouring it on nye. We had such a great experience at The Badgers Sett, from the welcome, to the atmosphere and the quality of food as well. The quality of the food was immaculate, and was so tasty! We even tried to get the beetroot hummus recipe as it was so good! Our mains were amazing, we had the Sunday trio and the pork belly, and would highly recommend either of these! Special shout out to our server Chloe, she was so bubbly and friendly, checked on us to make sure everything was okay, and even came to let us know our dishes were coming out next as there was a little bit of a wait (which was no problem as we could see it was busy!) We will definitely be back in January to take advantage of their new year offer, thank you for a lovely Sunday afternoon!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good menu choice. Food was hot fresh & tasty. Service was a little slow but we didn’t mind , if you were in a hurry could be a little annoying. Our waitress was very polite, bubbly & helpful. Would eat here again & recommend to others.

Great pub, friendly atmosphere and food is lovely

They booked our breakfast for 10.30am but there was no continental breakfast items, very little juice. We waited ages for cooked breakfast and by the time we had finished all toast and tea and coffee was cleared away. You shouldn't book the time slot if you are not providing the food and service. We have come for last 4 years for pre Christmas family breakfast but we shall find somewhere else for next year. Very disappointed

Food was amazing, the service by Emily was perfect! Overall a lovely experience.

Emily and Finn were lovely hosts, but the table was a little bit cold for sitting in the window alcove for a long period of time. Food was at the perfect temperature to eat as soon as it was served, which is also a plus. Nice tasty lunch.

Billie was really nice and welcoming. Appreciate the service and will return with the welcoming customer service levels. Would like to add the lad noah who came over was also very nice and engaging with some banter

Yet again a lovely Christmas lunch with the family. Staff were very helpful . Billie our waitress made sure we had everything we needed and was happy with everything.

Christmas 2024 having never been invited out for Christmas dinner before so when my granddaughter and her husband invited me I was very speculative about it, well there was no need to be what a amazing time we had at the Badgers Sett. We were treated to a lovely 3 course dinner which had a variety of options and the service was first class. Thank you to Leah and staff for a brilliant Christmas day x

We had a really good visit to The Badgers Sett today for a festive family meal. Good choice of dishes, quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Our server Fin was friendly, helpful and attentive. Nice pub with fire and great atmosphere. Quick service. Pip was lovely and efficient. I put a 4 star because the rice for the curry I ordered was quite mushy. Everything else was fine.

Just had a lovely Christmas lunch, food was great and the staff were lovely. Ended the meal with our cars getting stuck in the grass which was not ideal and a little stressful. But wanted to give a big shout out to all the staff and even the chefs for coming out and saving the day!! Really appreciate all your efforts!

We were looking for a nice place to have a casual Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Our server Maddie was friendly and funny. This was a beautiful little pub in Leicester which had a wonderful number of vegetarian options

Came with my mum for lunch and opted for the festive menu, but we're very underwhelmed as the food wasn't very hot at all ,so sent it back and it did return a little warmer, also had very long waits to give our order and then for it to arrive 🤔

Fin, Alfie and Stan are amazing, lovely chaps. Excellent service from them all!

Sunday roast here today was beautiful. Beef, turkey & belly of pork with a lovely assortment of vegetables & cauliflower cheese as an extra. One of the best I have had in a long time eating out. Really tasty. Noah looked after us very well he's a credit to you lovely lad.

Lovely meal tonight. Food could have been a little warmer but was acceptable. Service from Pip & colleagues was excellent. Friendly , polite and helpful. We were not rushed, it was a relaxing evening. Enough people to give a nice atmosphere, not too busy. 😁

After Miller and Carter messed up completely, Badger’s Sett came to the rescue - always a lovely setting and the waitress Pip was excellent.

Came for dinner with my boyfriend, lovely food paired with attentive service from our server fin. Made even better by his christmas jumper.

The ambience was matched perfectly with the service and attentiveness of Noah and Emily. Emily found us the perfect table and made us feel special. Noah was a very polite and charming young man who made us feel so welcome with his cheerfulness and polite conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed our lovely meal which was beautifully presented and very tasty. Noah and Emily are a credit to Vintage Inns. We will be returning. Terry & Steph.
