Fabulous place 😃 Rimi the waitress for us looked after us so well I ordered a chicken dish which wasn’t on the menu.without hesitation she took the order & didn’t question me. I was ready to explain to her what the dish compiled of but did not have to explain as she knew it. When it came I was so happy as the dish was so tasty and delicious. Would highly recommend this place to have a quiet curry and pint with great service. Well Done Harrow Inn - you’ve gained top place in my mind for the best tastiest restaurant in Leicester.👍 Thank you Rimi for looking after us. We will visit soon again.👍

What a place amazing, great food at an affordable cost, great atmosphere, music not too loud so you can talk to people, and the best is that you can bring your pet how cool is that. Top marks on that Harrow Inn.

Amazing food and service thanks to jay

After travelling down to Leicester to see a show I found this little hidden gem for a bite to eat beforehand. As Indian food goes it was absolutely sublime. The venue itself is great, the staff are warm, welcoming and very pleasant. The waitress Remi who looked after me is great. Overall it was fantastic. Just wish I didn't live so far away. Would love to find a local as good as this near me. If ever I'm anywhere near by again, I will definitely swing by for tea.

Tried the fish sizzler, Mombasa fish curry and few other dishes shared with a friend. All were very tasty. Service was good and parking places available on site.

Really great little find loads of gluten free options and all really clearly labelled on the menu. The food was incredible and will definitely be back!

Was expecting alot from the reviews. Disappointed is not the word , service was shocking they had no idea what food they were bringing to table. All sauces the same in different dishes so food wasnt so special. Rice came out stone cold wasn’t even warm, it was cold! How dangerous as rice needs to be right or you can get ill. No question on any allergies just took order and dropped it on table. The bar was just as bad , pint was terrible flat no lemonade. Brandy and coke £7.90 ridiculous price. Food itself was ok . But would never recommend or go again . Yes it was the same place as the one i am leaving this comment on! How many Harrow Inns are there leicester?

Sunday Buffet was lovely , lots of fresh dishes to choose from a good selection. Something for everyone, fantastic value for money at only £13 each . Would highly recommend

Lovely food, only thing that I didn't like was they stack the naan baskets on top of each other which is not ideal irrespective of if the baskets are clean as they would have been placed on a table. Not sure why a lot of restaurants do this.

I had visited this place for the first time as I am trying different places for dinner with my family, food was good no doubts about it but the empty bottles where left on the table when the food arrived and there was no enough place to place the food.

Have just been for their Sunday Buffet. Could not fault a thing. A lovely selection of starters and mains including poppadoms dips and salad. Food was very very tasty. One of the best Sunday buffets we have tried in the Leicestershire area. Value for money was amazing and staff very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going again

We was recommended to go here and give it a try for the Sunday curry buffet It was awful food was cold not a lot of choice the glasses and cutlery were dirty. I’ve had better all inclusive food on holiday. I wouldn’t be going here again. Place needs a good clean and maybe some serviettes horrendous.

This was my 2nd visit here, and there are not many places you go to where the food was excellent the first time, and then is even better on the 2nd visit. The atmosphere was great and the service was brilliant. Definitely come here again.

I had an amazing experience at The Harrow Inn. I had my team’s Christmas party hosted by Aamar and Tee and I must say The ambiance was warm and inviting, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was prompt. The food was absolutely delicious – everything from the appetisers to the dessert was perfectly prepared and full of flavour. I highly recommend trying their Aubergine Stir Fry – it was a standout! Overall, a fantastic dining experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Great food, dog friendly, owner is great checks in to ask all is well, the restaurant is separate to bar and they could do with potentially remembering what you have ordered and when busy checking in to see if you need anything else without being called.

Held my dad's 80th birthday meal on Saturday night. The food was excellent, and the staff were really friendly. The portions were massive, you do not need to over order. I had the Kenyan chicken starter, it was so good.

Food was absolutely disgusting cooked in ranted oil Service was pathetic waiters cleared our drinks off the table which we hadn't finished with. I tried to speak to the manager who was extremely rude. Overly priced avoid this place like the plague by far the worst place I've ever been to in my life

Había visitado la posada Harrow anteriormente a finales del verano de 2024 y tenía una comida fantástica, por lo tanto, reservar de nuevo para mi cumpleaños de socios. Pedimos 3 entrantes, las chuletas de cordero estaban sabrosas, pero los otros dos entrantes de verduras estaban cubiertos de chile y demasiado fuera de la tina, para servir ajo picado. El mismo ajo estaba dentro de nuestros currys pero no solo un poco... cucharadas llenas. Y era todo lo que realmente se podía saborear. No me comí todo mi alimento principal (me llevé algo a casa) pero todo el día siguiente hoy he tenido dolor de estómago crónico y muchas visitas al baño. Sí mi culpa por seguir comiéndolo, y no decir nada pero no quería quejarme durante las celebraciones de cumpleaños. Decepcionante ya que realmente había grande el lugar y lo recomiendo. Tal vez la cantidad de ajo picado debe ser considerada o si usted ordena ajustar a su gusto. Por lo demás un gran pub con gran ambiente y música. Quizás anoche fue una noche libre.

First time here. Amazing Indian and African dishes. Good portion sizes and excellent value for money. Would highly recommend and definately visit again.

The decor is a bit tired but the food is good. Doon Spice run the kitchen which is separate to the bar so you have to pay for your drinks and food separately. My friends and I shared the boneless meat sizzler - large between us...enough for 4. I had a lamb madras (you can have it mild, medium or hot which confused me so I went for medium anyways 😀) mushroom rice and a garlic and coriander nan. The lamb (or mutton) was tender and a generous portion and the madras sauce was very tasty and spicy. All in all the food here is good this was my 2nd visit and I will return.

El personal y el servicio era muy bueno y la comida era como cabría esperar de una casa de curry adecuada. El especiado era perfecto para nosotros y el personal hizo una comprobación cuando pedimos en cuanto a cómo lo queríamos. La parrilla mixta era excepcional!

We headed here for our October SCC meet. Our first visit and hopefully not our last. The staff and service was really good and the food was as you would expect from a proper curry house. The spicing was perfect for us and the staff did check when we ordered as to how we wanted it. The mixed grill was exceptional!

Great food with a local service, great menu .

The service was as if FAMILY were hosting a birthday celebration and we all know how that would be. This occasion was for a 21st birthday and it was flawless on every level. I would without a doubt recommend the Harrow Inn as a venue to choose for a family celebration.

Went to Harrow inn for the first time, ordered the veggie sizzler, chilli paneer, crispy aubergine. The chilli paneer and veggie sizzler is made in the same sauce and was extremely salty. Crispy aubergine is worth a try, dissatisfied with the overall food experience

I ordered over the phone for collection, I had to wait over ten minutes from the time I was told to collect. I got home to realise my order was incorrect! I am unimpressed and annoyed and went back to the restaurant. Upon arrival I found a member of staff to help me, explaining my order is incorrect and I want a refund! He got interrupted who seemed to be the manager or the owner to serve another customer not realising his staff is dealing with a complaint! I was left waiting for few minutes until he completed taking the order from the other customer. He then asked te owner or the manager about it keeping me waiting longer. The manager or the owner said the order is ready. He has clearly not understood! Explained the order was wrong but he clearly failed to realise I have collected the order and come back as its wrong!! Poor service!

From the staff welcome to farewell.. The place is great! Such a nice family friendly place for food and drinks. I got recommended by a local visitor and every time I am in area it is a definite place to visit with friends for drinks and food

Just been for dinner at the Harrow. Fantastic place to eat. The food is really well prepared and the portions are very generous. We couldn’t actually finish what we had. The service was excellent with the staff being friendly and polite. The cost of the meal with drinks was very reasonable too. They even provided takeout cartons for our leftovers. I will definitely go again and would highly recommend the Harrow Inn.

Certainly shouldn’t be listed as a pub any more. There are no real ales/cask beers available at all, despite what it says on the outside of the building. This Indian restaurant food however was very nice & plentiful. After we had finished eating we sat at the table just talking. The staff were watching all the time, presumably hoping we would leave, or vacate the table, but no one actually came over to say anything to us whatsoever.

Oh My Word! To recommend this place is a dream, to the food and to the atmosphere and view is absolutely outstanding and out of this world, the staff are always polite and welcoming, the food is too stuff and couldn’t say one bad thing. Absolutely Brilliant this is! Come visit if you get the opportunity

I recently visited The Harrow Inn. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The cocktails were a major let down—poorly mixed and not worth the money. They lacked the balance and quality one would expect, making for a disappointing experience. The food was passable, but given Leicester's vibrant dining scene, there are definitely better options available. It was neither memorable nor impressive, falling short of the standards set by other similar restaurants in Leicestershire. Customer service also left much to be desired, especially on a Monday evening. Our starters arrived before we were provided with any plates or cutlery. Surely, this is something fairly basic for any eatery. Overall, The Harrow Inn failed to deliver in key areas, making it a place I wouldn't recommend.

This place is my go to in Leicester. The food is fantastic, and so authentic! We always go as a family, as the pub is child friendly and can provide highchairs. The food and bar are paid for separately. Drinks are pricey compared to other Indian restaurants in Leicester, but we keep coming back for the food and the service.

Service rubbish manager very rude never going again

Very quiet when we went in mid Saturday afternoon. I had a curry which was one of the best I've ever tasted.

Just come back from the Harrow for Father's day curry. Hands down the best curry we have ever have. The food was fantastic so authentic. We go for curries a lot and this place is going to be our new place to eat. Definatley will be returning. 😋

Tried about 10 dishes. Not the best Indian food so I wouldn’t go back, when compared to other restaurants. I think there was just hype around this restaurant because it’s newly opened. No dish stood out that would made me want to go back Service was poor, items were missing during mains, food was brought out before cutlery and plates. Food was presented well We had a separate room for our large group, we had to ask for tables to be cleared and waiters went missing for too long a time when we needed drinks etc. It has a separate bar but wasn’t always manned. When recycling empty bottles the barman would sling it into the bin causing clatter whilst we were talking. Lamb sheekh kebabs - ok Malai chicken - poor Wings - ok Lamb chops - good Lamb rogan Josh - poor 365 chicken lamb mix - ok/good Butter chicken -ok Nice outdoor seating

Attended a family birthday party on Saturday evening (1st June). Food was delicious, excellent service provided by management and staff. I will certainly be coming back again.

Absolutely banging food, great atmosphere and service. Heard good stuff about this place and now I know what the hype is about. Very relaxed and not rushed out the door. Only thing I would suggest is stock up on some straws as my mother has a disability and struggles to drink without a straw, but they could not give us a straw. Everything else was on point.

First time visiting the pub and restaurant and safe it say it was a delight. Friendly staff, service with a smile and super attentive, probably the best service in a Indian Bar and Grill in recent times. Parking available in good numbers directly outside. The menu is plenty with no dish tasting the same. Would definitely recommend and would visit again. Felt the prices were very reasonable for the size of the portions too! Just to note, drinks are paid separately to the food so do not be alarmed if you receive two bills at the end. Go try this place if you have considered it. Its also not very often I rate a place 5/5 so I will say it was well worth it.

Had my 60th Birthday party for 22 people. All my guests were well looked after by the friendly staff, the food and the service was excellent. I give it 100% and recommend this place.
