Have just visited here for the first time in a long time as we found the good dropped off a couple of years ago. We weren’t disappointed! Really imaginative menu and super tasty. Very well presented and politely served. We will be coming back here time and again as there are loads more things on the menu we want to try. Well done for turning this place around 👏🏼

First time visit since change of ownership and it was a fantastic experience. The roast dinner was superb and service excellent. Will definitely be returning soon!

Lovely place very friendly staff & very tasty food! 😊 they even made our pooch very welcome with some water and a dish of treats! We both had the very tasty steak pie with creamy mash & veg with gravy. Unfortunately, this time we couldn't manage a dessert as we normally have the sticky toffee pudding, which is delicious!

I hadn’t been here for a long time and my friend and I decided it was a good halfway place to meet. It didn’t disappoint. The food was fabulous, I had the prawn curry and my friend had the chicken which were both well presented and full of flavour. The staff were lovely too, attentive but not at the table all the time. Overall a delightful evening and I will definitely be going back

Had Sunday lunch here with kids and friends. Very polite, friendly and attentive staff. Food delicious and served at a good pace (which helps when you have hungry children). Also a great pub to drop into for a pint if you're walking around the area. Highly recommend.

Visited on New Year’s Eve with friends for our annual reunion. What a beautiful pub, with a great atmosphere! Food choice and drinks were excellent! No faults at all! We were a large group having Sunday Lunch for a celebration. A variety of meals and courses were ordered. I was very impressed with how well the table service went during the meal. The food quality and presentation were absolutely wonderful. We were all commenting about how much we had enjoyed the food and the good service. The overall experience exceeded expectations.

We're a big fan and return customer and will continue to come back. However, last visit, B Burger coleslaw warm watery, bun was off, one onion ring vs three previously. Steak, was 1/2 the thickness and sauce was different, not as nice. Feedback provided in good faith, we are really picky but as stated we will return because despite the above, you're better than most 😀

We visited today. Four of us for lunch. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu was varied and large. We had tasty food in good sized portions and we will be back. The chilli lamb was excellent but it was all good.

Excellent service and good menu choice, however the portions were far too large; off-puttingly so. The slow cooked pork was the size of a large pork chop, 1.5 inches thick, which would easily have served 2 people, as would the portion of potato served with it. The strips of crackling were inedible, as they would have broken teeth if bitten into. It tasted nice, just far too much of it.

The clean plates spoke volumes about the quality of the food. Living just down the road, we look forward to returning soon. I highly recommend The Britannia Inn; you won’t be disappointed.

Food was absolutely delicious, we were away for the night and this place was just nearby . But we will 100% be driving 1 &30 hours from home just to eat here again!

Have been here many times but yesterdays visit stood out. The "new"owner (it's been a year) was attending to us. He (sorry didn't ask his name?) Was friendly, approachable, polite and helpful. He gave us a great rundown of the menu and detailing which each curry was going to be like. Heat, flavour, spice level etc. He recommended the chicken dish and we went with his recommendations. So glad we did because it was delish. I haven't enjoyed a curry so much in a long time. The girl serving the meal was lovely and friendly too. Locals coming in were helped to their seat when needed and you could see the interaction was genuine. Calling them "MR...INSERT SURNAME... very polite and respectful. My only slight criticism is my curry wasn't hot (in heat not flavour) I like my food piping hot. But it wasn't enough to complain. Overall fantastic place and we shall be back. Thank you and keep up the amazing work

Our family party of 7 eat on Wednesday evening two weeks ago. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our daughter especially enjoyed the vegan option. The food was hot, very tasty, with a good selection and the bar staff were very efficient. Compliments must go to the chef and all the kitchen staff, it was a wonderful meal. Today, we went to The Britannia Inn, Queniborough. This was a joint celebration to celebrate a wedding anniversary, a birthday and as a wake. The Britannia Inn was an absolute delight! The warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with the attentive staff, made for a truly memorable dining experience. The food was exceptional - beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. We can't wait to return to The Britannia Inn and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fantastic meal in a charming setting.

The best village pub in my local area by a long way. The food is always excellent and reasonably priced with generous portions - the menu is also pretty big so there's something for everyone, ranging from classic pub grub done really well to great curries and imaginative dishes. The staff are always very friendly and polite.

Vile lasagne was told would replace but you go to restaurant to eat together ,i had already ate most of my meal onion rings were like squid rings coudnt chew them ,get told they won't charge you for crappie meal won't return

The Britannia is a lovely and cosy place to eat, with stunning food and welcoming staff. Over the past year The Britannia has completely turned around under new management and is now a favourite spot. Every meal is bursting with freshness and flavour, is well thought out, expertly prepared and is truly delightful. Really great local gem

Great restaurant/pub. Service v good. Venue extensive and freshly prepared. Drinks reasonably priced and wine list covers most taste.

Meal with friends. Party of 6. Arrived at 8.00pm peak time. Service was excellent, beer was well kept Timothy Taylor, wines were a good selection at very reasonable prices. Menue was extensive, inclusive, novel, and backed with a very competent kitchen presenting freshly cooked and tastefully presented meals. Generous portions and reasonable prices make this establishment a must visit.

Dropped in for the first time today for lunch. The food and service were out of this world. We are so glad we decided to stop by on the way through. All of our food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and taste. We will definitely be back again.

Well, what a little gem. The young lady serving us was so attentive and helpful, and gave us some local information for when we are staying in the area again. The food came out and not only looked amazing, it was probably the best pie and meal i have had in a very long time. Highly recommend and not far from Eye Kettleby lakes which was the perfect way to end our trip. Thanks we will definitely be back.😊😊😊

The serving staff are lovely. The venue is in a great location. The interior has been cleaned up and there’s pretty lights and fresh flowers. The food is so bland and tasteless, it’s such a shame!! I thought I would give it another go recently as it looks to have been taken over but please someone just put a decent chef in there it’s just so disappointing everytime. Also nobody puts things on boards and slates anymore it’s unhygienic just uses plates. There’s about 5 pages of food to choose from which is also a bit of a red flag for quality. The harissa mayo I had had clumps of stall mayo in it. Not appetising at all I’m afraid. The serving staff made the atmosphere nice but unfortunately won’t be returning for food.

We came here for a meal with family and was seated at a table to wait for the rest to turn up, we wasnt offered any drinks, plenty of staff walked by but didnt offer. Food was nice enjoyed the lasagne. The cheesecake a bit weird the base just was a crumble and the cheesecake was slightly melted didnt feel it had set properly. But nice place for a little get together

We had lunch there today and what can I say but wow! The landlords front of house professionalism was amazing. Absolutely on point with customer service, the starters and mains were extraordinarily good and I'd recommend the Britannia to anyone. Well done to the kitchen crew for presenting and cooking to such a high standard. We'll definitely be back.

Popped in on bank holiday Sunday for lunch. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was the best we’ve tasted for a long time. Love music was an added bonus.

Excellent food, everything we had was brilliant quality and seasoning, and lots of choice on the menu. Dessert was a really decent proper prob serving and delicious - ice cream and custard together possible 🙌 Some really good wines at fair prices, good selection of gins. Staff friendly, really cosy welcoming place, clean, dog friendly… really looking forward to returning.

What a difference since the pub has been taken, the food and service are fabulous. Good size portions of food with lots of choice and happy to do a small portion if they can. Great service, have to say I couldn’t fault it and will be back for a big family do in a few weeks time.

We said we would be back following our visit last bank holiday and we were not disappointed. Same good food, amazing menu and good service from a friendly young team. Fish and chips were excellent as was the chicken curry. The pan fried sea bass was a delicious fusion of flavours that is indescribable. Another super evening at the Britannia. Very good value for money too.

Our fist visit since the pub management changed hands, and we had a lovely meal. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, and tasted delicious, including my vegetarian meal. Staff were friendly and helpful and the pub had a relaxed atmosphere. We thought it was good value for money and we'll definitely return. We had a starter and mains, and the portions were so generous that we sadly had no room for one of the tempting desserts! Definitely worth a visit.

The food is prepared and cooked to an excellent standard. A very good menu choice with good portions. Kids menu equally as good. Sat in the garden and had a very relaxed lunch. Very good value. Excellent service.

I am a vegetarian, allergic to aubergine, never helpful for a pub! The veggie food had aubergine in so I was left to decide on a burger or pizza but this not really what I wanted. I mentioned to the staff about the aubergine and they were lovely, they asked the chef if there was anything that could be done (without me asking them to). the chef said he could make a curry with not a sight of aubergine, it was delicious. Then we had coffee - decaf? yes, non dairy milk? yes - I have heard really good reports about the food and didn't want my visit to be a negative even though my limited foods I can eat. The staff, the chef could not have been more helpful, they made the evening fab so I could enjoy this with my friends AND enjoy great food, definitely be back, especially if there is veggie and no aubergine food on the menu!

Went here in a Friday evening with friends. My friend recommended as she knew the chef that was working here. I had the lamb shank biryani which was tender and flavoursome. My friend also had the biryani, one had the seafood chowder and one had prawn Thai curry. We were all pleased with the food and serve.

Had a lovely meal, starter & main, only problem was the main came out soon as we had finished our starter, so couldn’t enjoy it as much. So some was left as to full. But overall very nice food.

Well just been to this place for a Sunday dinner service was really good food was great probably the best Sunday dinner I’ve ever had didn’t have the colyflower cheese cause I don’t like it so can’t comment on that but brilliant will definitely go again

It was card payment only which could put some people off, but for the quality and reasonably price food, we would highly likely return.

If you want a country pub with amazing,home cooked and fresh food then this is the place. The owner is very accommodating to all and it is even better to see a great pub back in Queniborough again Well done Kam and team

Booked a table last night, 4th April. Staff all very attentive without being overbearing, lovely restaurant and the food was amazing. We both ordered the Sirloin steak with all the trimmings and it was amazing, everything was cooked to perfection and extremely well presented, after a break between course we ordered desert, apple crumble with custard and chocolate brownie, again really lovely and well presented. A good selection of drinks on offer too, lovely draught Timothy Taylors. It was our first visit, but it won't be our last. I believe new owners took on The Brittania late last year and I'd like to wish them every success.

Me and my husband went there for lunch and we absolutely loved the food starters mains and desserts all absolutely lovely big potions as well and all freshly made staff were really friendly and helpful lovely atmosphere best pub food we have ever had

This was our first visit and will not be the last !! We were greeted by friendly staff and were made to feel welcome. The menu was amazing and we were spoilt for choice. We decided on belly of pork, fish and chips and the special of chorizo and beef lasagne. We all said it was one of the best meals and found room for deserts which were equally delicious. Service was excellent…the staff were all very professional. We had a great family dinner out.

The food was amazing. The gammon steak was a good size and very tasty, it came with pineapple and the most amazing egg, which was in a batter. Congratulations to the chef. An Excellence is well deserved.

Family birthday party for 19 people, many different meals selected, all of them quality and hot, all 19 of them provided at the same time.

Used to come here alot, and stopped, as it was going down hill. Visited on Sunday for the first time in a year. Food was great, lovely staff. The only negative was the fact it took nearly a hour to receive our mains, but it was busy. Will definitely be going back!

We both had a lovely & so tasty meal at The Brittania Pub, not been for agood while so thought we would try it again after the lovely reviews on fb. We were not disappointed, staff lovely & very helpful & could not do enough to help & advise on menus & ingredients etc. I had the curry of the day & hubby had the sea bass. Both were beautifully presented & they both tasted amazing. We will definitely be going back to try & taste more of there lovely food . We finished off by sharing a sticky toffee pudding & it was the best we have had by far. Well done to you all. 😃5*+ deserved.

Our first trip with the new owners but it won’t be our last! We had amazing food, service and the most friendly atmosphere this evening. The Valentines set menu was absolutely delicious 🤤 and my hubby is now a tofu convert! All hot, flavoursome, beautifully prepared and presented food (well done Chef) was delivered by the awesome table staff Ellie, Jess and Rhona. Great value for money. Well done to the whole team. We enjoyed the laughs too……SERVICE 🤩👏🏻

It was our first visit to the Britannia but it was well worth it. Everything was good. Food, presentation, friendly staff and atmosphere. It was quiet as we visited on a Tuesday in February. We were specially pleased, as was the Chef, when we asked for a vegetarian curry as it was a meat curry on the menu. We've only had that once before but it makes it much easier to want to go again. One up for the Chef!!

Visited last night for the first time ever. The restaurant was very warm and inviting, was seated promptly, service was good and was well taken care of. Food was delicious , lovely and fresh. Chicken was juicy and well flavoured along with the mash and vegetables! Wine was a good quality at a very reasonable price. The only slight criticism I can give and this is in no reflection at all on the food or service. We ordered a sticky toffee pudding in which was very nice and the cream served with it was lovely…… but it wasn’t really a traditional sticky toffee pudding, it was far too sweet and lacked the date flavour a sticky toffee has, more along the lines of a syrup sponge perhaps. Again it was nice just not what I would expect from a sticky toffee. Overall it was a really good experience, one I will be telling everyone about and very eager to go back to explore the menu and obviously try the curry! Will be returning 😊
