From the moment we attended the wedding fayre at The Carriage Hall we have been provided with constant support from Cat and her team. I have had many questions throughout the year which have always been answered very promptly and with additional advice as needed. When discussing our ideas, the team were always willing to listen, but also providing other/additional suggestions based on their extensive knowledge of wedding planning. On the day itself, everything that I had dropped the previous day were set up perfectly. The music was playing and Cat was there to greet me and see me on my way down the isle!! Nerves were high, but Cat calmed me down and told me and my bridesmaids when to go. The food was exceptional, our guests could not believe the quality and the service. From start to finish, our wedding day was nothing short of perfect! The added touch of having the shepherds’ huts for accommodation and the beautiful Perkins breakfast was the icing on the cake! I would highly recommend The Carriage Hall as a wedding venue, but also for any other gatherings. Thank you team Carriage Hall Kati & Dave x

I come to U.K. quite frequently & this is one of the first places I always visit. The proprietors know me and are always friendly, know my regular Americana drink. The desserts are wonderful & the attention to service is always 1st class!! There’s always a table available. Be sure to take home some of the candies as they are special too! If you visit Melbourne, be sure to stop at Forteys for a coffee & special dessert treat!! You won’t be disappointed…I promise!!

Really nice people, lovely ambience. Ordered an oasis breakfast, food was cooked to high standard but was ruined by by the bacon coming buried and covered in tomatoes and beans which were all mixed in to each other.

Tried this cafe for the first time today whilst doing xmas shopping in nottingham. Very welcoming place, you can see that there is regulars and i dont blame them for returning.I had the medium size breakfast, added black pudding and mushrooms. I get sick and tired of half a grilled tomato on a breakfast(what is that all about) so it was nice to get proper tinned tomatoes on a breakfast for a change. All cooked to perfection with a cup of tea. Best breakfast I have had in a long time and if didn't live 20miles away would return more regularly. Will definitely be returning. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I was visiting Bolsover for the day and fancied something to eat and came across this cosy little cafe tucked away in a courtyard near Morrisons. There was lovely outdoor seating but, it being one of the hottest days of the year, I chose to sit indoors. Well, what a treat! The omelette I ordered was the fluffiest, most unctuous, and delicious one I've ever eaten. The lady who served me was so friendly and the atmosphere was just what I needed: peaceful and cosy, with some magazines to tuck into while waiting for my food. Lovely little eatery.
