Large, airy, dining area. Welcoming staff and excellent Sunday lunch. Stuffed! Will definitely be coming back.

A very warm and welcoming place , staff are always polite and are willing to go the extra mile in order to satisfy all coustomers, There is a range of tasty dishes on the menu , we would reccomend scampi and chips or the full english breakfast. Extremely good value . and very clean

We have been to the restaurant once before and really wanted to experience the wonderful taster experience again. Having travelled from South Wales to Lincolnshire it once again exceeded expectations. Amazing food, amazing people and amazing ethos. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant .

Hi everyone most of you will probs know me but worked at the hideaway for a few months now and couldn’t say how much I love it as a job great venue and great customer love ever bit of my job and it’s a great environment to be in and also the manger is great and thanks to everyone that comes in 😀

We visit this restaurant several times a year, to sample each menu. The food, service and ambiance are simply outstanding and our visit last night for the Indian themed menu was possibly our best yet. This is a talented young chef at the top of his game with a great team around him. The expansion plans to take over the whole building are very exciting. Thanks George and the Tasting Club team - we will be back!

We dropped into the Barn ona. Drive out this afternoon and so glad we did. What a lovely little gem of a place. We just had a cake/ scone and coffee/ tea which were all fabulous. Great portion sizes, and prices reasonable. Fabulous friendly attentive service. Highly recommend and will definately be coming back to sample the delights of the menu

This little restaurant saved our lives today - place we’d planned to visit shut - won’t be going anywhere else in Tideswell except “The Cherry Tree” in future. Superb selection of sensibly-priced fresh sandwiches, pasties and sweets - also dog food, but didn’t sample that. Friendly and efficient service, and theymake an excellent cup of coffee too. Fantastic small restaurant with a fantastic view when seated in the comfortable chairs outside and a beautiful walk around the lake. Do not miss this place if you are in the area.
