This isn’t used by us but by a member of our family. Very knowledgeable of the plants they sell and always happy to give advice on what plant will go best where. We went for coffees and cakes in their small cafe, half a dozen cyclists outside doing the same and enjoying the weather. Fantastic selection of homemade cakes and if they haven’t made it, they source cakes of the same high standard. Spoilt for choice we went for Lemon Drizzle Cake, Bannoffie Muffin and a slice of a Simnel Easter cake, all fresh and delicious. Coffees were large, hot and again delicious 😋. Recommended.

Wow. Could this be the best place to buy a really fresh Christmas Tree. Huge selection of beautiful trees. Helpful staff that even load your tree into the car. Fantastic Family Trip. And there’s even a Cafè with delicious home made cakes. Thank you.

Service was excellent and the setting is lovely, limited choice of both food and drink but what they do have is good quality and reasonably priced

Called in today just to have a look around, and landed up buying plants and bird food, very well laid out, the staff were very helpful, could have spent a long time looking around as I like to see what is the trend, for this year. I found the prices very good,I got 4 plants for £10.00, where I have been buying 3 for £10.00. Will visit here again.

We stopped in for tea as another nearby tearoom turned out to be closed on Tuesdays. We enjoyed a scone and tea and were sufficiently impressed to return mid-walk for lunch. Mind you, lunch options were very limited - some soup (which we did not try) and a limited choice of pre-made sandwiches which we ordered and ate on our return. The chicken and stuffing was a little dry but the salmon and cucumber was fine. This was a very small, one-woman operation when we visited, but we were served quickly enough. Better for tea/coffee and cake than lunch, in my opinion.

Tucked away at the back of this true gardeners' nurseries is the Topiary Tea Rooms. Simple and gorgeous fair is the order of the day. I'm and about cake and fortunate to be married to an ex-professional baker and WI cake making champion and I can tell you that these cakes at this place is truly worth the trip. I had a 'specialist' Victoria sponge cake slide, moistened with rose water and it was really special - with proper butter cream. Allergies are catered for an just ask the staff. I should not really review this place as I'd hate not to be able to get a table on my next trip! By the way - it's opposite the Rosliston Forestry Centre and having visited both, several times, the Topiary tea rooms wins hands down on every measure.

I didn’t even know this restaurant existed but it was recommended & we gave it a go and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is very intimate and we loved the vibe inside. The menu had some really good choices, we both went for the scallops to start and then salmon. Both dishes were beautifully presented, and delicious! Service was friendly, quick and very polite. Really impressed and will definitely return!

I hired the function room for my wife’s funeral reception, everything was laid out perfectly, much than enough food and hot drinks for those that wanted refreshments. Thank you Ellen for organising this on what was a very emotional day for my self and my family and friends.

Absolutely awful, rude staff and owners, awful atmosphere and the food was terrible, if you’re not a local they’ll try to turn you away
