The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in North West

We were greeted with the warmest welcome when we arrived with our dog. They made a huge fuss of her and gave her treats which she loved! The service was top notch and the food was delicious. We both opted for surf and turf skewers and they were lovely with huge portions that we couldn’t finish. This is our first visit to the Lakes but it won’t be our last and we will definitely be back to this fab restaurant.

I was craving for a good chicken burger. I got one last night and it was spot on on every level. It was one delicious burger. Absolutely going back for more. I think this place is a hidden gem.

Great little restaurant. Authentic Turkish food and friendly staff. You can see the kitchen while you sit and watch the chef in action. The waiter was friendly and attended to all our needs with good advice on the lovely Turkish menu. Excellent choice of dishes and of course excellent tea on hand. My food was excellent and really flavoursome. If you like Turkish food this place is well worth a go.

Worst meal I've ever eaten. Chicken was over done and clearly prepped days in advance. Coating was burned yet mushy on the inside with a woody texture. Waffle was of a wall paper paste consistency! When we complained at the bar, once the member of staff decided to get up from sitting on the back bar he told me "you don't know what you're talking about this is what waffles should taste like" Ive never left so much food iny life and feel I've been robbed of £30 for two meals, but it wasn't worth eating!

We found this jewel in the crown purely by accident, and so glad we did! We were greeted by a friendly waitress, who took are order quickly. We had a few small generous plates, king prawn, pork and potatoes. The truffle emulsion was absolutely fab, and complemented the dish wonderfully. We finished with a strawberry waffle, which was delicious. We will back to taste this wonderful chefs dishes!

At a fraction of the price of a full tank of fuel and it keeps you full for longer there Jumbo breakfast is the best by far I would recommend this café any day, Its always clean service is second to non and staff are always chirpy and polite

First time here and absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and the meat carvers were amazing and made our experience quite theatrical at the table. The salad bar was extremely varied and tempting, again the staff ensured that the food was of high quality and was regularly refreshed to ensure freshness. We will definitely be returning -thank you 😀

Love this place. We eat here regularly and also order takeaway. We had a takeaway tonight, chefs special for three people and only managed to eat two of the portions between the three of us. We'll have the other tomorrow. Lovely food 😋

Banging food, great service, sick eastern tunes

Well what can we say?! Absolutely fantastic! We booked for my husbands birthday along with his brother and sister in law. From the moment we arrived we were exceptionally well looked after. The bar service was excellent and the waiter looked after us, making menu recommendations and wine recommendations. He then explained and showed us the speciality steaks. Once in the restaurant the staff were attentive and friendly. We loved the little extra details like showing us the knife collection. Between us we ordered scallop starter and cheese soufflé. They were both amazing dishes and so pretty. The scallop Thermidor was divine. Next up we had 2 rib eye steaks and the special tomahawk steak, as well as a tuna. Ordered with various sides and sauces. Every mouthful was amazing. We were blown away and so happy we had made the choice to eat here on this special occasion. Thank you to each and every staff member who make it so wonderful. Absolute stars!

The food here was delicious and had a very homely taste. The burger was great and the mix platter had lots of different items.

Updated Been 3 times since last review so thought should update.....Much better: all staff great and food as good as ever.glad it's got back to its previous standards. Food is amazing and its only reason we keep going back. Customer service is nowhere near on par from when it first opened. Staff just aren't interested anymore (other than the bar staff) . The past three occasions our serve has disappeared for long periods of time leaving not just ourselves but other diners waiting for; bills, cutlery and drinks, essentially anything you ask them for. On our last visit we struggled to find somebody to actually ask for the bill. On our way out we found the only servers still in the restaurant at the front of house podium/computer screen dancing around one another. Go for the food but expect a long wait.

Been going here since I was a kid, best food shop in Blackpool hands down. Had the Chicken curry for the first time today and wow just wow the flavour and portion size was brilliant. Always get pies, sausage rolls and sandwiches from here and always brilliant! Fond memories over all the years absolutely brilliant place!

Service was great, food was unreal especially the ribs!! Manager was so welcoming, really nice guy, overall great experience would recommend
