Anatolia Turkish Restaurant in Lancaster

La comida mala para llevar era horrible y porciones diminutas. Sin embargo, la familia que ha sentado allí recibe grandes porciones. Ya no usaría ninguno de estos tipos de comida para llevar.

Tuvimos una excursión de un día a Lancaster y decidimos probar este restaurante turco para el almuerzo. Me alegro tanto de haberlo hecho. Hemos estado de vacaciones en Turquía varias veces y comido en muchos restaurantes turcos en el Reino Unido. Para nuestro almuerzo elegimos tener el Anatolia Mix Kebab para dos. También tomé un vaso de su limonada casera. La comida era excelente! Las carnes estaban perfectamente cocinadas y tan delicioso sabor. El pan plano y los chapuzones eran muy sabrosos también. El servicio fue muy amable y rápido y sin duda volveremos de nuevo y absolutamente lo recomiendo a nuestros amigos.

Gran restaurante. Auténtica comida turca y personal amable. Puedes ver la cocina mientras te sientas y ves al chef en acción. El camarero era amable y atendió todas nuestras necesidades con buenos consejos sobre el encantador menú turco. Excelente selección de platos y, por supuesto, excelente té a mano. Mi comida era excelente y muy sabrosa. Si te gusta la comida turca este lugar vale la pena probar.

¡Qué hallazgo! El personal era de primera clase, muy amable, servicial y atento. La comida era de primera clase, cocinado fresco y las porciones son enormes, podría compartir fácilmente un plato entre 2. Valor en cuanto a que era genial para lo que se obtiene. Me alegro de haber venido aquí y sin duda volveré a visitar cuando vuelva a Lancaster.

Stumbled on this place by accident whilst walking through Lancaster. Me and my friend both really enjoyed our meals. The food was excellent. The restaurant is very clean and the waitress was very helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend and we will be back.

What an amazing gem of a place. Stopped here for lunch this afternoon and boy we were in for a treat. The waiter was brilliant, very helpful and made great recommendations on what to try. We had some halumi which was gorgeous. My donner wrap was to die for, the rice was soo tasty and the flatbreads were just beautiful. The whole experience was fantastic and the Turkish coffee was well appreciated. Great service with even better amazing food, what more could you ask for

Excellent Turkish food and service. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Highlight was the baked rice pudding dish. Absolutely delicious!

Went at lunchtime with three friends. Speedy service, friendly waiter, great food, would recommend! Lamb shish was top!

Called into the Anatolia as a walk in and we were welcomed and shown to a table. The staff are great and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The food was exceptional and couldn't be faulted and the waiter was none stop and buzzing around the tables all the time. You felt that you weren't being rushed and that your custom was important. The home made lemonade is wonderful and the Baklava is truly out of this world. My son tried his first ever Turkish coffee and absolutely loved it. And the prices are really reasonable and you come away feeling more than satisfied. If it wasn't for the fact that it's 4 hour round trip to get there I would definitely eat here more often.

My husband had the kebab platter. Very well cooked and tasty. Generous portion. My daughter had chicken burger with fries which she thoroughly enjoyed. Mine was the a delicious vegetarian pizza. The service was efficient, friendly and attentive and there wasn't a crumb left on our plates! The pistachio baclava and ice cream desert was mwhah. We'd definitely visit again

In Lancaster just for the day and wanted food before heading home, stopped off at Anatolia and what a great decision! Not being from the area, it’s always difficult to know where to go but this was delicious! Really welcoming staff and the food was great. Good sized portions, including chips and rice and salad. Reasonably priced too which is saying something in the current climate! If you live in the area or are visiting Lancaster then give them a go - you won’t regret it!

OK.. Let me explain this heading. I am from Turkey and you can consider me as a Kebap Expert. I lived in London for about four years and I know all the famous "trendy" Turkish restaurants there and I also know the bests in Istanbul, Bodrum, Ankara. I can say that Anatolia Restaurant, which looks small from outside, really serves proper kebap. Even the salads are served with pomegranate souce (as it should be). To my knowledge Lahmacun and Pide are the bests in the UK. How about dessert? Baklava and Kunefe are the bests I have ever eaten in the whole UK. Moreover the service. The person who served us was kind and respectful. He was paying attention to the cleanliness and timely. Therefore, this heading is not exaggerating. Thank you Anatolia.. Dr. Turker.

We shared a mixed grill, which was delicious and very generous portion including dips with home made bread followed by a large variety of grilled lamb and chicken dishes with rice, chips and a very tasty fresh salad. The lamb was amazingly tender and the chicken was nice. We had Turkish coffee - it was good being asked if we wanted it sweet and the deserts - rice pudding and baklava. Recommended.

After a tour around the castle we were ready for some food, and fortunately Anatolia was just around the corner. Great food, the staff were so helpful, polite and friendly. They gave us time to decide what we wanted from a great choice on the menu, without pressing us, would recommend if you are in Lancaster in the future just take a trip here, you will not be disappointed.

Very impressive first visit. Service excellent, very attentive and pleasant server. We just wanted main course tonight, everything we had was delicious and leftovers boxed up to take home.

The food was excellent and the staff were friendly. The only criticism was that the main meal came with chips which was not mentioned on the menu. As I am on a low carb diet I had to leave this.

we called in without making a reservation the place was spotless, they immediately laid a table so we coud sit in the window , the menu was explained to us ,recommendations made, which we took , starter & main course excellent value for money , staff helpful we will go again..

I decided to meet my son at work and go to this restaurant for lunch. We visited at midday. The restaurant is spotless. The waiter that served us was very friendly and advised on the Turkish food which was amazing. The menu is varied and caters for everyone. I can highly recommend this restaurant and the prices are affordable. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

What a find! Definitely coming back. Great service, sumptuous food, big portion sizes, nice atmosphere. Wraps, salads, bread with humous, lovely meat dishes.

Nice meal of falafels, hummus, salad, and some chips on the side. There was an issue with the availability of some menu items, but what I had was really good.

The service was great - friendly and helpful - hard to understand why the place is so quiet - the food is fine and the portions are a good size. I’d go back.

I've been here twice at completely different times. Both times the food and service have been phenomenal. It's a firm favourite for my partner and I. I haven't had anything I wouldn't recommend: salads, wraps, bbq - all fantastic. I'm surprised it's not busier as it's some of the best food I've eaten, certainly top 2 in Lancaster. If you enjoy excellent meat with tasty salads in a relaxed atmosphere, try this place out.

Just popped in as passing by cold and hungry, wow amazing food and great service. Very satisfying but wish we had left room for the Turkish rice pudding that was recommended and looked delicious.
