Good selection of ales with friendly service and even free cheese, olives, pork pie and other treats laid on, though not sure if this is a regular thing

Friendly warm atmosphere where you can sample plenty of real ales and ciders sourced from all over the world

New management and staffing choices have seen this once great local pub become an atmospheric vacuum.

Excellent little micro pub, we were staying local for a weekend and visited on the off chance when we were walking back, well kept beer and an excellent atmosphere/surroundings will definitely be going back again

Lovely little Micropub with a nice garden just off the sea front.

Fantastic Little Bar(e). 6 cask including a cider plus 3 keg always changing. Not forgetting wine & their own gin. Beer garden at the back and located in a row of village shops. Always worth a visit. Google asked has it changed. It has slightly, 5 cask & 4 keg but the choice & the beers are as good as ever. Google asking for another update, April 2022. 5 cask, 4 keg & cider on draught from the cellar. Beer garden has a roof and vodka, rum & whisky sit alongside the gin. March 2024, another Google update nudge. The bar staff are getting younger but still 5 cask & 4 keg. July 2025 and new owners, Q Brewery. Visibly nothing has changed, including the beers.

Returned after a week away, ownership has apparently changed, nobody in, atmosphere lacking and feeling very flat.... Wish the new owners well but not a great first impression

Wednesday 26th October 2022 Today, I visited this splendid micro pub in Bare Bloody great owner lovely peaceful pub with a dedicated real ale drinking fraternity The real ales on were great Everything about this establishment was grand""on my visit, please use this place when in bare lane Saturday 5th may 2024 We again frequented this really good micropub a great amount of real ales on tonight. The staff good there was a good local following mostly quaffing the pubs real ales This pub in Bare for Real ale drinkers is an essential visit

No trip to Morecambe Bay is complete until you’ve called in here. Really friendly staff and regulars where good old fashioned chit chat is still order for the day. The choice of beers - particularly Cask - is consistently top drawer. Great public transport links as well - both 🚌 and 🚂 close by

Very friendly place. There were a lot of people when I went in there just for my paint. As I was about to leave about 10 other people came in. It was crowded but a very enjoyable experience. I have been there quite a few times and each time has been very pleasant

Fabulous micropub selling quality keg & cask beers. V. Knowledgeable, friendly & welcoming owner. I would definitely recommend a visit here. 4 keg & 4-5 cask mostly local is think. Cracking location too in the Bare village.

First visit with my son and greeted warmly by a charming landlord/barman. Interesting and varied selection of beers at a reasonable price and a very cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A charming bar a few minutes walk from either the seafront or Bare railway station. Just the place to kick back and relax just letting the world pass by.

Cracking little Micropub. My first time here (though my wife has been here before). Moved to London from Lancaster 13 years ago so this has sprung up since we moved away. Good beer, atmosphere and decor 👍🙂

Lovely little pub just round the corner from all the busy crowds. Quiet pretty garden to sit out in and dog friendly! Craft ales were top notch and good price too. Warm and friendly service! Definitely a stop for future visits to the coast.

Nice pub with some great ales and a good landlord/owner. He really knew is stuff, unfortunately we only got in there once due to opening hours.

Great bar with decent ales, Nick giving a run down of those available with tasters available if you want to test something different before committing to a pint. Friendly locals as well so if you want to have a chat and a pint this is the ideal place. Will be back next time I visit Morecambe. Cheers!
