Don Luca Pizza in Lancaster

this is the absolute best pizza place in morecambe, the staff are always friendly, delivery/collection is always quick, the pizzas are fresh, hot and rich in flavour, never greasy, and never short on toppings. The devils pizza actually has good spice levels to it and even the more basic pizzas like the garlic and basil one are rich and full of flavour. i could not recommend this place enough!

Pizza smelt awful, thought it was the box it was in but took a bite and had to spit it out, it didnt just taste bad it actually tasted off. The toppings wernt even cooked. My partner had 1 slice of tomato garlic bread and threw that too. Never again!

First time I’ve ordered in while, probably since you moved into new premises. Food is still good and hot but there is an enormous amount of garlic on the pizza which imparts a bitterness to the sauce, that and I ordered the pepperoni which was drowned in red onion, to the point the base was soggy. Maybe an off night, as the quality was nowhere previous deliveries.

My son loves the pizza there so we went as a family for his birthday. Great choice of bases and toppings all cooked in a woodfired oven. Pizza's were very tasty and pretty good value for money. It was fairly quiet as it was late afternoon on a Sunday, nice warm and cosy atmosphere with background music too.

We were well taken care of by a charismatic host, the pizza was easily the best I've had in Morecambe, and whoever is responsible for selecting the tunes clearly know where the bops are at. Service, atmosphere and fare thoroughly unimpeachable. A* stop to bottom. No notes.

Better than average definitely. I had a pizza with just salty Italian ham the name of which I can't spell. The meat was tasty. Little bit too salty for my taste but nice. The pizza base was tasty. Very floppy. They don't overload with toppings which I like. Not too much cheese which was tasty. The tomato base is nice. Nothing special. Needs bit more zing to it. I opted for oregano forgetting that fresh oregano isn't that nice when cooked like that and it tainted the taste a little bit. My fault for having it. The "homemade" garlic sauce is definitely not homemade. The tirimisu was average and not homemade. For the price it wasn't worth it. I'd have the pizza again maybe but it is quite expensive.

Really, really good pizza. We had a works do and the staff were brilliant they decorated the table with the items I'd brought in, the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing but the pizza was by far the star, it was delicious and really good size portions.

Best pizza I have ever had. Love the choice of tomato based or olive oil based. Cooked in the pizza oven. Service is also good. Been twice now. Will definitely return. The tiramisu is beautiful and you can tell it's freshly made. Just less than £50 for 2 pizzas, 2x large bottles of lager and 2x desserts. Highly recommended 👌

Delicious, authentic, wood-fired pizza.

Unimpressed that a pre-made takeaway desert can't be swapped after it is ordered. The women serving at front of house very nice and well mannered unlike the other man and women in the background who I presume are the owners. Eye contact and a thankyou doesn't go a miss when handing over food. We've had a few takeaways and eaten in here, but there are better places where your custom is a lot better appreciated.

Ordered online for collection. Took my money. However once I got to shop to collect I was told it was a private function. I said I had ordered and paid but was made to feel like I was lying. Literally had to prove I had ordered. They said they hadn't turned the card machine on. It was a great inconvenience as no where on the website did it say it wasn't taking orders for today. Now I've to wait for a refund. The attitude of the people was poor. When it was lockdown we supported this business but after today I feel like I wont becoming back. It's not hard to put on the website that they won't take orders.

Really enjoy the food here, and the choice is simple and staight forward. The pizza is just perfect no matter which one you choose, the puddings are also a star in this place and the Oreo cheesecake has us coming back every time!

Very nice food and staff and at a very fair price. Plenty of food for the money ..loved the picture of the wall, very clever . It Could really do with some cushioning on the seats as I like to spend time and relax but the seats are a bit hard . I do find this a lot in places even the very expensive ones so it's not just these guys .

The pizza was great but the garlic bread was a 0/10 unfortunately the garlic on it wasn’t cooked and tasted like it had come straight out of a tub. We will order here again but we will avoid the garlic bread

Pizza was too oily n no cheese on it n looked a mess n asked for barbecue base but it wasn't n garlic bread with cheese barely had cheese on it too n much to crispy.didnt enjoy any of it.

I went to Don Luca for my birthday as I’ve always had their takeaway pizza but wanted to celebrate properly. They decorated the restaurant for me and were so accommodating. I am not sure on the waiter’s name but he was so lovely and also had a laugh with us. Thank you so much we will definitely be back and I can’t stop recommending you to everyone I know - the food is unbelievable, but that pink/red dip… is next level, I always come back purely just for that!! Xx

Very nice and filling pizzas. But the tiramisu - eccellente! I would highly recommend it if not for else but go for the tiramisu. And have a pizza while you wait…

Today I was here for the 3rd or 4th time. We also recommend it because the service is very nice! Today I forgot my hearing aid, and yet the gentleman serving was completely understanding towards my hearing aid. The food is delicious, great idea with water and lemon. There are also disposable finger wipes. The decor is very nice. I like the photo wallpaper the most. The wall of stones and the railing with ropes give great charm. The place is very clean!! So far I haven't been to a cleaner place in England, and I've actually been to many places, in different cities.

Coke was good, pizza was nowhere near 12 inches, even took a picture. The pizza was also partly burned. Panne cotta was okay, the raspberry sauce was practically non existent.

A relatively new pizza restaurant with takeaway options. For those of my age, it's where Sam's chippy was on Queen St. Plenty of pizza choice and they'll add & take away toppings if you ask so don't ignore a pizza if there's just one ingredient you don't like. Wine menu is fine and there's a few desert choices.

The best pizzas in this neck of the woods by some considerable distance. All other pizza joints just give up. You can't compete. Cracking wine list too. Short, but all killer.

Walked in here on a Friday evening. The staff were very accommodating and found us a table. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. We will be back.
