Thief Street - Grill And Waffle in Manchester

Vino por su pollo frito asiático y estaba delicioso. Comida fresca con sabores potentes y porciones generosas. Teníamos la caja de salsa de miso y la caja de búfalo malasia, con un lado de las Vietnam Nom Noms (¡debe pedirse!) las papas fritas de gofre son crujientes por fuera y esponjosas por dentro. Coleslaw es fuerte y fresco. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente con una sonrisa.

La peor comida que he comido. El pollo estaba hecho y claramente preparado con días de anticipación. El revestimiento se quemó pero mojado por dentro con una textura leñosa. Waffle era de una consistencia de pasta de papel de pared! Cuando nos quejamos en la barra, una vez que el miembro del personal decidió levantarse de sentarse en la barra trasera me dijo "no sabes de lo que estás hablando esto es lo que los gofres deben saber" Nunca he dejado tanta comida en la vida y siento que me han robado £ 30 por dos comidas, pero no valió la pena comer!

Staff were nice, katsu curry sauce was lovely. We had mac and kimchi and katsu waffle chips. It was a bit too off the wall for me, but OH liked the mac and kimchi.

I recently ate at Thief Street in the Produce Hall in Stockport and absolutely loved it. I ordered the Korean BBQ Chicken and the Viet Nom Noms. Both were delicious, every bite was fresh and full of mouth watering flavour. Everything was artfully plated and the best versions of both dishes I've ever had or seen. The food perfectly blended complex flavours with authentic style. The atmosphere was lovely as well. It's clear that a lot of passion and care goes into their cuisine. I highly recommend this Stockport newcomer for incredible, high-quality Asian fusion food. This was seriously one of the best meals I’ve had in ages! Five stars and two thumbs up from me!

I could not be happier with the experience with thief street. I booked them to cater my mam’s 70th. They travelled to Scotland and were amazing! They did our evening meal and breakfast. They were so professional and the food was incredible. Eveyone really enjoyed it. Wonderful value for money and they worked with me through the process to create the right menu. The breakfasts went down a storm. I would absolutely recommend them for a stress free, delicious catering on a large scale! They were on hand for any amendments. Thank you Jon and Ellen!

Thief Street catered for my mam's 70th birthday party and I was blown away by the quality and the flavour. For the evening meal I had the pork and yard, jerk braised pulled pork shoulder with purple cabbage slaw, pineapple salsa and honey and lime yoghurt and for breakfast free range poached eggs on a freshly handmade waffle with a portabello mushroom, crispy kale, harissa hollandaise sauce and handmade mac n cheese hash brown. All the flavours were superb and the breakfast is probably the best I've ever tasted. Ellen and John are also lovely people who fir right in to the bustle of the festivities with no problem and worked around everything else that was going on like a well oiled machine. Would highly recommend.

I was lucky enough to be at a party catered by Thief Street, who made us evening food and breakfast the following morning. I had pulled pork which was absolutely delicious- I especially enjoyed the unique flavour pairing of a pineapple salsa creation! Next morning I tucked into home made waffles and some kind of divinely constructed macaroni cheese hash brown. Could not recommend Ellen and John more highly- we also got some great company thrown in for free, they were so friendly and fabulous!

Provided wonderful food in a seriously out of the way venue for 50 people. Evening meal was grand ~ vegan, veggie, meat choice ~ delicious. Brunch next morning ~ absolutely delightful, all my favourite things in one meal ... Can’t recommend these beautiful people highly enough xxx

Thief Street grill & waffle were booked to cater at the venue for approx 50 people for an evening meal & brunch the following day! The menu was available beforehand & what a fantastic choice there was! All specialities were catered for! The food was freshly cooked & delicious! The staff were so friendly but also professional! We loved it! We hope to visit the grill when we visit Manchester!

We have had take aways from Thief Street and also eaten there (inside The Spoon Inn). The food is an absolute feast for the eyes and taste buds, all home made to perfection and beautifully presented. The flavour of the food is delicious. They cater for vegetarians and vegans. I have Coeliac disease and have to have a strict gluten free diet and they not only cater for this but the owner/head chef has a Coeliac in his family so is extremely knowledgeable and aware of this. We look forward to many more meals out and I can't recommend Thief Street highly enough!

One of my favourite places to eat in Chorlton. I’ve been a few times and have never been disappointed with the food. The chaat masala is so flavoursome and the breakfast is down right delicious. Deffo recommend!

One of the best eateries around Manchester! Definitely not your standard bar food, instead it was something a little different…….. quality ingredients, fresh flavours and attention to detail in the sides, toppings and condiments. A true festival of flavours in every bite!! Having eaten in the spoon in and ordered takeaway many times during lockdown I also booked thief street to do the catering for my 40th birthday party! Everyone was taking about it for ages after, what an amazing spread they put on and again something a little different from your standard ‘buffet’ food. I can’t recommend the food highly enough : )

I heard about this place through my cousin. I’ve eaten here about 5 times now and it never disappoints. If you fancy something a bit different and full of flavour then this is the place. Can’t wait to go back again soon. Great atmosphere, amazing food!

This is our favourite takeaway when we want something a bit different. We've tried most things on the menu and have never been disappointed. IThe flavours across the dishes is immense, really good sized portions and great value for money. Try it and you won't be disappointed
