We had a fabulous meal last night. All of the dishes were tasty, fresh and fragrant. Would absolutely recommend and will be doing so to our friends and family.

Go here if you want good Thai food cooked by a Thai family. This is not some overpriced restaurant with an over-promising menu and exotic furnishings to make you think you are in Bangkok. The focus here is on authentic SE Asia cooking from a limited but changing menu with excellent service and reasonably priced drinks. We had Summer rolls, Green curry and Pad Thai, all were tasty and all too soon our plates were clean. No room for desserts! Will we go here again, yes. I wish this Thai family every success with their fledgling business.

Fantastic welcome to be had in the restaurant very pleasant and welcoming. Very good seating not cramped good spacious restaurant. Choice of food was very good and remember if it’s not on the menu ask and they may be able to accommodate your request as everything is cooked fresh. Chopsticks and mandatory bowl are available as I always eat this particular kind of food this way personally I think it enhances the flavour. Will definitely be back.

So been going here for years but Saturday was the last straw! Was in good mood, not been out for a while so was looking forward to maahis. Got there 7.15pm and waited a couple of minutes and we where seated at the back in the corner which suited us fine. Manager came over asked us what drink would we like and so took our order for X2 beers and X4 poppadoms as usual. Within minutes drinks came. My wife and I chatted and became concerned that after 20mins no sign of poppadoms . Next minute manager comes over takes our mains order and we tell him still no poppadoms and can we have another drink. 2 mins later drinks arrive. 8 mins later still no poppadoms. By now we are pretty hungry and finally they arrived. After being on the table for one minute our starters arrive so we say no thanks too early as poppadoms only just arrived. That was the last straw and we complained at the bar,too be fair bar manager was polite and did not charge us even though we offered to pay for what we had eaten. Manager, seemed troubled or in pain and not happy. Waiters where fine although I was disappointed they never came to ask us if we had ordered ,only the manager approached us. Decor, needs painting and modernising asap. Radiators rusty and dirty and inside a bit worn. Outside lights useless and more weeds than plants. Food is always STUNNING so it's a real shame to write this review buy black pepper have a new customer. Shame being going maahis for years and we felt hurt to be treated that way as we like the place.😥

Wow where do we start, when we got back in with the takeaway and opened it I couldn’t find my mushroom rice, they had put mushroom bhaji in, even tho the man repeated the order back to us, so not a good start NO RICE. The chicken tikka masala is all about colour really grainy texture and no taste at all. Chicken tikka syhleti, read the menu sounds amazing, unfortunately not… weak base gravy mixed with tons of naga pickle and some cut up tomatoes… just really poor food. I read reviews later and was a chap from Manchester saying exactly the same thing and he was right, but there responce was “ food also changes dramatically from a city to a small town like Shotton. We by no means state our food is like the curry houses in Manchester or Bradford as the pallet is completely different to the local one that we cater for” NO it isn’t you come up here and serve poor food cos most other places around here are poor..so there’s non competition. There is a reason you come to small towns in wales it’s because you couldn’t make it in big places like Manchester etc because you carnt cook!!! What you serve anybody could do better themselves. Makes me sick cos you’re in a small town you think we have no tastebuds.

It was the best in Indian restaurant in Prestatyn. Good prices, clean modern restaurant. But they have put their prices up a lot, Expensive now, been to cheaper restaurants in London. Food is excellent, though, but toilets are tired and dirty, which is a letdown. It also says a bit about their hygiene may be ? Friendly staff, and nice surroundings.
