Wait time said 35-40 minutes so i chose this takeawy. Its 2 hours later. The wait time has alreast changed once. That time has now been amd gone and still nothing. I have children who havent eatej and its nearly 9pm on christmas eve!!!!

First time trying here, good portions and curry was nice. If they improve the chips and don’t send them soggy it would be a 5/5

Everything was good except the garlic rice which was tasteless and the patia was far too hot like a Phall which is hotter than a vindaloo so that left me confused and a bit sad tbh.

Wow where do we start, when we got back in with the takeaway and opened it I couldn’t find my mushroom rice, they had put mushroom bhaji in, even tho the man repeated the order back to us, so not a good start NO RICE. The chicken tikka masala is all about colour really grainy texture and no taste at all. Chicken tikka syhleti, read the menu sounds amazing, unfortunately not… weak base gravy mixed with tons of naga pickle and some cut up tomatoes… just really poor food. I read reviews later and was a chap from Manchester saying exactly the same thing and he was right, but there responce was “ food also changes dramatically from a city to a small town like Shotton. We by no means state our food is like the curry houses in Manchester or Bradford as the pallet is completely different to the local one that we cater for” NO it isn’t you come up here and serve poor food cos most other places around here are poor..so there’s non competition. There is a reason you come to small towns in wales it’s because you couldn’t make it in big places like Manchester etc because you carnt cook!!! What you serve anybody could do better themselves. Makes me sick cos you’re in a small town you think we have no tastebuds.

We ordered the tandoori mix with rice and garlic naan. The kebab was really salty, the chicken dry and the masalla sauce tasteless. Really disappointed.

Order took longer to be delivered also missing onion Bhajis

The best curry in the area by far! The starters are great and the lamb koari is a firm favourite. So flavoursome.

Found the ingredients to be poor/cheap. The food hygiene rating put me off - this should be clearly visible Just Eat! Delivery time took too long.

Really easy to order. Arrived on time. Good sized portions. Good price compared to other Indian takeaways. Only negative is that some of the dishes were bland and I don’t like loads of spice.

Another fantastic quality meal.. Starter was brilliant but sadly there was a missing item on my order.. This is the second time out of 3 orders it's happened to me.. They rectified it and sent my missing item out.. Once is annoying but 2 out of 3 orders with missing items isn't good.. Such a shame as the food is genuinely brilliant.

First time I’ve ever ordered food from here. It was early, piping hot and soooooooo delicious!!! Would highly recommend! (I was raised in Bradford so I’m fussy on my curries..but couldn’t fault it)10/10

the order time was changed from a notification which said 7.40 to 8.15 order items missing, chips were cold, chicken in the chicken rikka starter was very dry

Food was very late to be delivered due to staff shortages. When it arrived it was quite tasty, but too much red food colouring. We had three different main courses, but they all looked the same!!!

Chicken peri peri was really good but the rice and sheek kebab didn’t seem to have the same quality but the Keema naan was nice as always shame about the sheek kebab and keema rice.

Fast delivery big portions although the curry wasn’t to the standards I’m used to coming from Bradford. It was good enough.

Excellent quality madras, a bit expensive but great tasting food

I have had two fantastic deliveries in the past. But this time the Jalfrezi sauce had that much salt in it that it rendered the meal as inedible. There was that much salt that after a mouthful, I took a bite out of the garlic naan and could not taste the garlic. My first thought was that I was coming down with covid, but rinsing my mouth out with water, and trying the naan and the rice on their own which then both had the correct flavours proved I did not have covid, but that a huge amount of salt had been dumped in the jalfrezi. Shame really as the two previous orders had been so good.

Way too hot. Usually get chicken chilli fry but the amount of chilli was too much which overpowered the flavour of the curry ??? Very disappointed because it’s usually spot on. When I opened the lid there was 8 little green chillies sat on top ? Plus what was in the contents ?? I mean cmon I’m no chef but that’s taking the piddles a wee bit innit.

Have used this place regularly and food is normally very good. It was disappointing tonight. Samosas charred, chicken pakoras soggy, vegetable biryani was overcooked and sticky.

Where to start.. very overpriced! ordered 4 separate meals, every meal was tasteless. The chicken in one of the dishes tasted like fish. The price does not justify the quality of food! nothing was eaten, £73 down the drain. Ruined NYE

Love the food at this restaurant however in the last few months the price seems to have increases by 30%. So will have to cut back on how much we visit as £25 for 1 curry, 1 chips, 1 rice and onion bhaji is very steep.

Food was great, but within a month the same order increased in price by 25% and a delivery charge of £3.00 had been added, what was £20 beginning of October cost me £27 one month later

Food arrived on time. The rice, chicken damask and masala sauce were good, but the tandoori chicken was over cooked, dry and flavourless and the pakora was disappointing. The papadums were odd, kind of bendy and more chewy then you’d expect.

Love spices it’s our regular Friday night treat food is always lovely and tasty but unfortunately as in line with everything else cost has gone up we order near enough same thing every week and what normally cost £21 cost £29.80 also no option anymore on menu of just sauce

Ordered before 6pm and food didn’t arrive till before 9. The time was pushed back at least three times. Once it was ‘out for delivery’ it took a further 30 minutes to arrive and although the driver was very apologetic the food was cold at this point.

Never again will I use this place. Cold food, Rude owners.

The wait didn’t really bother us because we were in no rush and when it did come it was superb! The Darjeeling chicken was SO good . Spices have always been great but this one was a belter! 😋
