Chopan in Leeds is an Afghan restaurant. It offers a cozy, traditional ambiance with floor seating and Afghan decor, giving diners an authentic experience. The menu features popular Afghan dishes like Kabuli Pulao, chapli kebabs, and various grilled meats. Their mixed grill platter is a favorite, and the restaurant is praised for its friendly service and flavorful dishes. You can order online for takeaway or delivery as well.

This is by far the best Persian restaurant I have eaten in, (and I have eaten in 200’s of Persian restaurants both here and in Iran. The service is superb, the staff are kind and attentive nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is amazing, every single dish on the menu is cooked wonderfully the flavours are exceptional. If you want to taste the real flavours of PERSIA this is an absolute must.

My favourite breakfast place, the food is delicious. I always go there when I’m feeling an English breakfast. They have so many choices including roast dinner, jacket potatoes and so much more. Very nice cafe, spacious seating, has a back garden sitting aswell. The staff are friendly & excellent service. Even tho they are busy the food is always served quickly.

I recently dined at Shiraz Restaurant in Birmingham and had an outstanding experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with lovely Persian decor. The food is amazing, especially the fresh and tasty hummus. I also enjoyed the chenje (lamb skewers) and koobideh (kebab). Portions are generous and offer great value for money. The staff were courteous and helpful, making the dining experience even better with their excellent recommendations. To top it off, they offered us a complimentary ferni dessert, which was a delightful end to the meal. Overall, Shiraz Restaurant is a fantastic place for delicious Persian food in a friendly setting. Highly recommended!

Service was really top notch, the man on the door who served us was a real credit to the restaurant, I could not applaud him enough. As for the food? Meh. I had a chat puri for a starter and it was absolutely swimming in sauce, it virtually made the dish inedible. For main, i had a paneer masala and a peshwari naan. The masala was okay, but just not enough sauce or paneer, especially compared to offerings from rival restaurants. The peshwari naan was bland with the overwhelming taste being of charcoal throughout too. Not good at all. Overall? It was okay, 3/5, helped by the waiting staff, but the food is nothing that local restaurants like the Covered Wagon/Millennium Balti/Sweet Chillies don't do ten times better. To add, a starter, main, naan and bottle of coke cost me £25. Definitely not value for money.

This place is absolutely incredible. The interior is cosy and warm and the service pretty rapid. But let's talk about the food. Everything feels sooo fresh. The salad , the rice, the chicken with crispy skin and the meat is so moist. They also make fresh bread in their oven. There is a super cheap lunch menu I'd really recommend. Possibly the best lunch option in the area

Popped in for a quick bite to eat on the way home from rugby. Pretty bland and overpriced for what you get. Bread and meat dry. Salad fresh. Note that instead of getting meat and salad already in a pitta bread, a kebab here compromises a thicker (very dry) bread, salad in a container and a small amount of meat atop rice. Didn't notice any hygiene issues mentioned in other reviews and stomach was fine after. However, can't recommend and wouldn't return.
