Hebburn Takeaway in South Tyneside

Absolute rubbish delivery service supposed to be with us at 730pm turned up at 855 p.m The food was very bland and tasteless will not be going back Totally unacceptable 😑

Ordered food over the phone, I was told 50 minutes before delivery, 2 and a half hours later it arrived some items were missing, food was piping hot but it wasn’t nice it had a really bad grease taste, people don’t go there and waste money.

Unreal food, top lads. Should definitely come see what their about if your in the area.

Ordered a set meal for 2 tonight would easy feed 4 people, would highly recommend, food was outstanding and best meal/takeaway we've had in a long time beautiful

Beautiful Chicken Tikka Balti with a gorgeous garlic naan, packed with flavour. Honestly the best Balti dish i’ve tasted in a while. 100% recommend this Indian spot!

First time ordering and Staff were amazing, was given 25 minutes for the food to be ready and it was there ready as soon as i got in, food was spot on. Definitely worth a try and will be back for a birthday meal.

Waited 1hour and 10 minutes for 1 curry and 1 rice. Turned up cold. Not happy at all.

This is our go to takeaway for Indian food - the food is lovely and reasonably priced. It tends to get fairly busy (which is a testament to the food). Collections usually take 30-45 minutes (I don't bother with deliveries as I live close by).

Really poor tonight. Not even warm and the chips must be last nights warmed up. Full pack left of you want to inspect

Chef Erfan makes the best mixed balti bar none , large portions and fantastic food . Cannot recommend highly enough 👌

Ordered online with an estimatd time of 19:15 so as it's an estimatd time I was well happy with it arriving 35 minutes early. Piping hot, good portions and all delicious, so highly recommend 👍

Just had the worse pershawari naan ever. All it tasted of was sweet sugar which left granules in your mouth. No almonds, sultanas or coconut in it. Absolutely disgusting. As a regular customer you've just lost our custom.

I ordered chicken jalfrezi and egg pilau rice for the first time and it was delicious. I'm sure I'll order again from this place.

I,m a Hebburn lad never heard of any of the punters who left reviews ???? Very poor grub no peppers onions just a sauce n limited chicken, bhajis dry n tastless chips un cooked !!! Enought said n wont be going again

Waited an hour and a half for delivery and it still didn’t turn up, contacted the shop 20 mins after our expected delivery time and they were waiting for a driver to come back. won’t be ordering from here again!

But as we were looking for a curry from somewhere we hadn’t used, this Indian takeaway as it happens was pretty good. Decent marks on one of the Eat sites and found a voucher code too for £5 off! My choice was the Special Balti garlic chicken, very nice. My husbands was a Chicken Tikka Zeel which was a lot hotter than he’d expected it too be. The spicy chips were fine but disappointed with the lack of filling in the Naan. It seems to be hit and miss with keema naans in general, either lots or no filling! Plenty left over for another day or too freeze.

Beautiful. You can just about make your own. They will do whatever you want

Excellent Indian takeaway / delivery meal

Just decided to try Hebburn Takeaway today & ordered online via their app. We immediately got an email confirmation telling us our order would be ready in 20 mins. Chicken Tikka & Mixed Kebab starters, Chicken Rogan Josh, Chips & Chipatis. Order was ready as promised. The food was absolutely georgous & that was the best/most enjoyable Rogan Josh I have had in years. Marvellous. Well Done. Looking forward to our next order & many more to come. Thanks

Been ordering from here since a week before Christmas after too many let downs by other takeaways. Food absolutely fabulous as is the service front of house. Very friendly lads. Jedzenie tanie i smaczne, duży wybór, duże porcje, jednak prawie wszystko smażone w głębokim tłuszczu. Pomimo to polecam, zwłaszcza haggis lub chicken kebab.

Its been a while since I have had food from here but was always good. Don't know if this take away has changed chefs as food was very bland and onion bhajis over cooked.

Decided to have an Indian Takeaway for tea and had Chicken Korma and Pilau rice. Collected order, Very reasonable on price and quick service by the time I got round to Hebburn Takeaway the meal was ready for collection. My family enjoyed meal. Friendly Service.

Had a Rogan josh, onion pilau best in a very long time, full of chicken which is cooked so it remains moist, and the chips are gorgeous. Its a must to try this little hidden gem. We pass a few takeaways to get to this one as it is well worth it. the price is very good as well.

By the quality of the food I think this takeaway could have changed hands. I have always had 1st class food in the past and wouldn't go anywhere else. Last night had the worst takeaway ever from here. Starters and Nan bread were tasteless and came in paper bags which meant they were cold when I got them home (I live very close to this takeaway) Onion Bhajis' were so hard couldn't hardly cut them with a knife, bhuna prawn on puree: the pancake/bread wasn't cooked and cold. Paid for 2 lots of pickle and only got 1. Overall all food was so disappointing for a place that used to have a good reputation.

They do a really nice curry here and have done for years. I usually get a madras or vindaloo with rice and garlic naan.

Food is delicious and always fresh and pipping hot! Iv been going here for about 10 years and it's perfect week in week out! Best around by far!!!

Ordered from here for years! Never had a problem food is always lovely and 5 hygiene rating! Prices aren't bad either! Always collect it so not sure about delivery but the staff always seem friendly!

We were looking for a different Indian takeaway, We came across this one by accident on trip advisor. Sat nav on and away to check it out as I like to see where im buying food from, CLEAN?? YES it was....We live in Jarrow and always stuck to the local. What a find this was, Chicken Jalfarazi was perfect, and the Garlic Chicken Balti very tasty. only criticism was the poppadum's were soft and seemed they had been lying a while, I ordered them as an afterthought whilst I was waiting for my meal so I know they should have been fresh, I always have a cheeky couple of bits on the way home ( like you do )..wont buy them again, but the rest of the meal was very nice and very reasonably priced, We shall return.

This place does top food. Its better than any other Indians around. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Been using this takeaway for 15 years!!

Me encanta este lugar, me lo recomendó un amigo y nunca he mirado atrás. Sigue intentándolo lugares diferentes, pero seguimos regresando. El servicio es siempre muy ocupado, pero personal proporcionado. Los platos hechos a sus propios gustos y jardineras llenas hasta arriba. Nunca he tenido una mala comida desde aquí. Precios muy razonables.

Always get the order right delivers promptly very professional ,great food at a fair price-been going there for years.

The Madras was a bit weak and tasted more like a Garlic dish. Unusually light colour too.
