The best restaurants serving American food in Carmarthenshire West Wales

My new favourite place to eat, quality ingredients, lovely kind friendly staff, delicious food, massive portions (I’m eating the leftovers at home now) So nice to have easy access with loads of parking and vanilla custard slices that are so big they look like they are meant for the whole family. I’m an ex chef and I can honestly say this is simple food done to a standard that is unbeaten in the area. In these tough times it’s a treat to eat out for many but at least you won’t be disappointed here

We had a delivery tonight. All of us loved the food. My 11 year old said it's the best food ever! Generous portions. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients. We'll definitely order again.

Absolutely, the best fish and chippy for miles. We both order on line and go up and order. either way is efficient and the staff are very friendly too.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was average at best. Myself and my partner had steak, we ordered sauces to accompany the steak however they did not arrive with the meals. When I went to ask as no one had come back to the table they hadn’t even cooked the sauces so we were half way through our meals before they arrived. When they did arrive they were very watery and tasteless…I assume as they’d been rushed to be made. They did apologise and took the cost of the sauces off the bill. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium and it came well done. I hardly ate any of it and when they asked how food was I said the steak wasn’t very nice and overcooked however didn’t receive any apology or offer of a refund it was shrug of the shoulders and that was it. I did find that the young girl serving our food and drinks leaned over me constantly, once tipping a drink all over my arm. There were no restrictions for her to walk around the table but she still constantly did it. This doesn’t bother me normally but it was every time a drink came or she served food…..don’t be lazy just walk 5 steps around the other side of the table. We went on a Saturday night and booked a late sitting, by 21.30 they had brought us the bill (which we hadn’t asked for) and by 22.00hrs they cleared all our glasses away and then they turned the lights off in the room as I assume a hint for us to leave. This was exactly the same as last time we attended over a year ago it feels like you’re forced out when it would be nice to sit and have a few drinks after food. We waited a year since attending last due to the situation at the end of the night, on that occasion the food was actually really nice. On attending recently the food had gone downhill too so we won’t be returning. There are much nicer restaurants close by where the food is much nicer and the staff don’t make you feel like you have to leave early on a Saturday night.

Dog friendly with beautiful decor. Very warm And welcoming staff that were very attentive. The food was fantastic and very generous servings. Highly recommend by me.

Had a lovely Welsh breakfast which included laver bread (my fave). Hot delicious food. Great friendly atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend a visit of your in the mood for a cooked breakfast.

This is one of my daughter’s favourite places to eat and we had a lovely family meal. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive with great food as always.

We had a delicious meal from the lunch menu which is great value. One of the best salads I've had in a long time and made extra delicious with the garlic bread from the starter menu. My daughter loved her food from the child's menu which was great value. Glad we booked as it was busy but all the staff were working hard and so accommodating. We will definitely return! Highly recommended.

I bought a 2 course steak night for 4 people,from groupon,as we were on our holiday in camarthen, the pub looked aveage from the outside and inside a bit drab and only a few dinning tables,and thought the food was going to be very poor,a very plesant young lady delt with us,asked for a brandy for mother who was not feeling too good,but was told they did not have any,we thought what ever is the food going to be like,When our starters arrived we were plesantly surprised,we had garlic mushrooms in a bread dish,they were gorgeous,our mains of steak and chips came next,mmm the steak was done perfectly for each of our requests,and the chips were really nice and crispy not tasted a chip like that in ages.Just goes to show ,dont judge a book by its cover,we will certainly eat there again when next in the area.ps the toilets were very clean and presentable as well.

Busy had to wait 30 min that was ok as could see rushed off feet in busy bank holiday weekend reassures clean considering the amount customers in store

Customer Service in here is absolutely disgusting and the workers attitudes are absolutely appalling! Ordered a boneless bucket at the till with a woman and she put the whole order through completely wrong, when the food came I told them it was wrong and if they could change it their reply was “no that’s what’s on your order ticket” absolutely no help and food was also disgusting! Do not recommend at all and staff need to have some customer service training.

Absolutely awful got served hot coffee when ordered iced, then eventually got the iced for there to be no coffee in it! Staff not a clue what they were doing lady serving was lovely but coffee staff terrible, never going back
