Starbucks in Carmarthenshire

Bad enough it closes at 5 p.m but arrived at 4.50 and the door is locked and this isn't the first time.

Just had the best experience in Starbucks St Clears, was a very normal visit, but the man serving us was lovely! Seemed genuine and helpful, an all round nice guy. Thank you man behind the desk at 19:15ish 16/10/2020 :)

Come on Starbucks, learn how to use air conditioning, you are blasting out cold air in October. I get it, you don’t want customers to linger, is that your game plan? This is not the USA, we don’t even need air con in July! Flat whites have improved in this one but they get cold pretty quickly.

i asked for a LARGE caramel cream frap and got a regular one. After i questioned them about it, they said that it was the large size. Another order was also wrong as we ordered an iced white mocha without cream and not blended and we had it back with cream and blended even thought it said on the cup ‘without cream’ Didn’t even taste nice.

Very unimpressed, coffee was tepid, toasty was left at the end of the counter after we sat down and left there until I went looking for it and the piece of cake was forgotten about and I had to ask for it again. The tables were left with dirty dishes.

Ideal situation at end of M4, desperate for coffee stop. Nice clean loos, free wifi, made an ideal stop for a breather, and check e.mails

Called in as conviently located with good parking. Service average...not hugely welcoming or friendly. Table we used had not been wiped and floor full of crumbs from previous user. Personally felt it was overpriced and not v good value. Will not be in a hurry to return or recommend.

I go into this Starbucks at least once a week and every time the staff are slow and never smile!! Today I went in and was served and waited for my coffee and a que started to form behind me waiting to place their orders but the member of staff decided to put away their order and looked at the que and carried on what she was doing!!! Every time I go in here the service is very slow and the staff have an attitude problem!! Can’t wait for Costa to come to the area! Better coffee and hopefully better staff too!

Stopped for a few hours to do some work. Convenient location, plenty of space. Staff are friendly. It’s a good spot for business meetings, many of them happening. Free parking available.

Met up with friends as they were holidaying in the area. Great coffee with breakfast baps and the excellent fruit toast. The two male members of staff who were on duty were very polite and helpful. The facilities were spotlessly clean as usual and I love the special touch of a water bowl for the doggy members of the family too. We call in here occasionally and all the staff have always been very welcoming.

Stopped for coffee on journey to Tenby .Two staff behind counter . One lady on phone behind counter and then touching her face and then preparing coffe and food . The floor and tables were covered in food crumbs . No one came over to clean them and it was difficult to find somewhere clean to sit . Cinnamon bun was offere warm but seemed a little on the stale sideToilets were filthy . Very disappointing.

Was thrilled this on same site as our Travelodge in love their iced frappe Starbucks are the best ones I have tasted

I am a regular at Starbucks in St Clears and have always found the staff to be great. They always know what I drink ( Espresso Frap) and I have never had an issue with the quality of service or product. Great atmosphere and always very clean.

We stop here regularly, but the place is going downhill. Yesterday the cinnamon buns were stale, the coffee was bitter and the toilets all filthy. I have never seen any staff member cleaning them or even checking on them. My husband reported to the staff weeks ago that the hand dryer in the gents wasn’t working, it’s still not. Costa is opening shortly in the area, if the low standards here continue we will use that instead.

It’s in a convenient place just off the A40 towards Carmarthen (outside St Clears). I think it used to be a Little Chef. My son and I popped in for a much needed pit stop on our way to Laugharne. It’s a nice looking place. We ordered coffees, porridge pot and water. We also ordered some ready made sandwiches. We were the only customers at the ordering bar. A lady took our order, took our money and promptly disappeared.We busied ourselves looking for spoons and napkins. A new customer arrived and stood near us looking at the menu boards. A new member of staff suddenly arrived and bossily asked us what we wanted. ‘We are being served thanks’ came my response. ‘Then move down the counter’ we were told. in no uncertain terms. Ok ok I now realised that our original server was behind the counter a bit further down banging out our coffees. They have a process, and of course everyone in the world knows what it is. Move on down. Except this is remote west Wales. We kinda dropped out a long time ago, long before coffee shops turned into mega brands. And we do like a bit of friendly customer service that doesn’t assume we ‘know the drill’. Suitably admonished we picked up our items and legged it.
