KFC in Carmarthenshire

Customer Service in here is absolutely disgusting and the workers attitudes are absolutely appalling! Ordered a boneless bucket at the till with a woman and she put the whole order through completely wrong, when the food came I told them it was wrong and if they could change it their reply was “no that’s what’s on your order ticket” absolutely no help and food was also disgusting! Do not recommend at all and staff need to have some customer service training.

From first impression of 2 members of staff playing about pushing each other and throwing chips at each other I should have left at that point. Silly me still placed a takeaway order only to get home and find 2 side missing and 1 wrong, chips where soggy chicken was OK. Won't be going back.

Absolutely awful. Bought two 3 piece variety meals, cost £18. . One of the meals had 3 x drumsticks in it. How is that variety? . And been sitting for ages was hard and dry.

When you order a large popcorn meal with large fries and drink to be given a small drink n fries. On querying you get told it’s standard. We don’t do large. Ummm sorry but yes you do. More training needed for these people please. Sitting around smoking outside the restaurant is not a good look either. Poor hygiene. Won’t be back sorry not sorry

I ordered 10pcs family feast online for collection via drive thru but the staff gave me 10pcs of chicken only. I told the staff from drive thru that order a family feast and he said “yes that was 10pcs and that is all my order” i insist to have 4 fries a gravy and a pop as it was what is in my order. They gave me the pop and fries but no gravy. If you don’t know what you are paying for, they will rip your money off. Llanelli KFC owner calling your attention, your business has a bad staff reputation.

I ordered food online from KFC, never received said food and then they proceeded to hang up my call 9 times!!!! So I couldn’t even find out why my food wasn’t delivered, their customer service is none existent.

If I could have rated zero I would have . Food was delivered an hour later than was expected. Cold dry and the coating was like a hard shell around the chicken . The wrap was cold and so hard the tortilla was cracking and snapping . In all - DISGUSTING .

I like the location of this KFC, easy access and reasonable parking as its Trostre. I also find the food tasty - sure its a bit salty but its a KFC. I visited today and collected an order which was bought online in the branch using one of their terminals. They missed an item from my order which I only discovered when I unpacked it at home, so I drove back and it was still sitting there on the rack between the kitchen and the servers (lonely and rather obvious box of popcorn chicken). Mistakes happen of course and they gave me the missing item when I returned 30 minutes later. However there are an awful lot of recent bad reviews for this branch on Tripadvisor which makes me wonder - has the Area manager seen them and doing something about it? I dont blame the staff - it has to be down to poor/lack of management and training. On the other hand - customers should also check their order just in case :( . Pity to have to write a less than positive report. 3 stars for the food which is generous. I genuinely hope they improve but needs a top down approach/review.

Had a KFC delivered. We couldnt eat it because the skin was full of salt. It was absolutely awful. I wont be wasting my money there again.

Just had a KFC delivered by an Uber Eat delivery guy,missing oarts of the order yet again,no fries,no boneless opocorn chicken,just paid 34 quid for basically a box of 14 pieces of Chcicken what a ashambles !! unproffessional low rate service.

Popped in here with my partner to grab something quick to eat. Sincerely wish I hadn't bothered. The place is absolutely stinking. Rubbish all over the floors and tables. Luckily I had wet wipes in my bag to clean a table myself. The place is very understaffed and the staff who are there are too busy chatting to each other to serve customers. Very long wait for food and when it did arrive the order was wrong. Environmental health need to pay a visit and close the place down. Appalling!

Firstly, half of my order was missing and I didn't pay £21 for cold sides and a bottle of pop to be delivered. Tried to phone the 'restaurant' numerous times and got absolutely nowhere as they don't seem competent enough to answer the phone. The food that did arrive was a joke as it wasn't even child portioned nor warm! Everything went straight into the bin and I'm now £21 down as Deliveroo are just as much a joke when it comes to refunds!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE OR VIA DELIVEROO IN LLANELLI!!!

We ordered at the drive through, after receiving our drinks we were asked to park up and our good would be brought out to us, 10-15 minutes later our good was brought to us. On admiring how how my fillet tower burger looked - freshly made, to my horror I saw a king brown curly hair, grateful I hadn’t bit into it, I took it to a member of staff, I kindly explained there was a hair on it, she took it from me with no apology or saying anything and went in the back, she returned saying they had made me another, on returning to the car my partner who had eaten half of his zinger tower showed me the hair in his! Again I went inside with it and the same girl said I don’t understand?! I pointed out it obviously wasn’t my hair (pillarbox red) again the same type of long brown curly hair poked out of the tower. I said he would prefer strips instead she returned with five asking if that was ok. Again no apology or even any concern showed from her, almost as though it was a normal occurrence. Obviously the experience spoilt the meal and made us wonder how many others will be unfortunate to have a hair in there food. Had it of been hair free the tower burgers looked great. Piece of chicken I also had was dry. Poor customer service, training on how to deal with Customers may come in useful. I didn’t go in being difficult but I certainly expected better customer service and empathy over this matter.

Soooo angry with kfc! Ordered 1 zinger tower meal 1 fillet tower meal, 12 piece dipping boneless feast.... when hubby got home, they'd given us 2 fillet meals, not towers, and they were kissing the 4 dips for the dipping feast.... but charged us full price, and didn't give us a receipt so we couldnonly prove how much had been debited from our account, plus hubby had to wait over 20 mins before he even got served let alone the wait time for the food which was cold!!!! This is the third time they've done something like this, the last time they gave someone else our meal ffs!!!! Never again!

My partner had a meal at this place tonight (drivethrough). When my partner drained the last of her coffee she found a 5p piece at the bottom of the cup. I went inside and told a young lad behind the counter. He asked if I wanted a refund of the meal cost. I said fine. He asked for the receipt which I couldn't find anywhere in the car and am not sure if we were given one. Anyway, after locating the order on their system the young lad came back and said they could only refund the price of the coffee. I was fine with that. What disgusted me was that not once in the time I was there did the manager of whoever was in charge come out to apologise for what happened. Whoever's running the place needs some serious retraining in customer relations. Will inform Health & Safety and Trading Standards to ensure this isn't an ongoing problem.

Every time you go in the evening they run out of gravy...just buy more gravy... so people can have their gravy

I have always enjoyed kfc chicken but one thing always happens,the chicken is always nice but the chips are always disgusting. Everyone I speak to says the same.

We last visited in Nov'18 when things seemed to be improving. However, today, when we called in for lunch we were not impressed. The service was polite but very slow. Our chips were almost cold, the chicken was overly greasy and the padded window seats had ripped surfaces with grimy exposed padding. This KFC appears to on a downward slide yet again. Disappointing.

My family & I called there on Saturday lunchtime. It wasnt particularly busy but you would have thought they were inundated by the standard of service & the disgusting state of the eating area! I ordered a fillet & salad. It was absolutely vile. I dont know who decided that sweetcorn, chopped tomatoes and smelly gone off lettuce constitutes a salad but I bet they never eat them. It was totally inedible apart from the small chicken fillet. My husbands food was cold as it had been handed from staff member to staff member for at least 10 minutes before they decided who it belonged to. The eating area looked as if ithadnt been cleaned for ages. The staff were shouting at each other and not in a good way. I won't be returning to this branch. It needs to be closed down to be honest before someone is seriously ill.

I don’t know how they’re still open. Beans under my table (cold and stale) they definitely had been there a while. I HAD to cleaned them up myself. I asked a man to clean our table and he told another man to do it he said no so the other ended up coming to do it although I offered to do it as you could clearly see they were already stressed. I understand they’re under a lot of pressure but it takes 2 seconds to quickly sweep where needed. It’s just disgusting here! Thank god i don’t live around these areas !!!

Visited Kfc in trostre for a Boneless banquet meal for my wife and myself yesterday,exellant food,good service and spotlessly clean,eat in and really enjoyed our meals

Started badly asked for a twister zinger wrap ......don't do wraps anymore ?? When did that happen So went for chicken burger meal with coke no ice Best part of the meal was the BBQ sauces chips were cold burger was dried up and the drink came in a Pepsi max cup but it just tasted like soda water Horrible and to make matters worse 2 tomato sauces in bag but no serviettes Won't be spending any time there soon bad experience and not cheap

Visited this KFC many times over the last year or so where the majority of the time they usually don't have the Gravy. They also went through a phase of not having ice cream of any sort because the machine was broken for quite a while. The service is mediocre at best where they forget to put things in the order that's supposed to be there. I rarely go there now for the above reasons and may not ever return.

Used this KFC for a quick lunchtime eat whilst visiting Trostre Retail Park. It is a reasonably sized KFC and food and service were OK. I have eaten in worst KFC's and I would say this one was average for a quick snack as long as you don't expect too much.

Visited at 8pm had no good I wanted. Girl on the counter was shockingly rude.. the staff serving at the front were arguing with the staff at the back. Absolutely disgusting. No tables were clean.

This place seemed to have lost its way a couple of years ago with poor food and service and poor hygiene standards in the restaurant and toilets. However, we have returned twice in the last two months and standards have certainly improved across the board. Today the restaurant was spotlessly clean, the food delicious, the staff warm and friendly and the service very efficient. This is not hard to achieve with the right level of management so lets hope that things remain this way.

Called in for lunch Monday 9th October, Restaurant wasn't overly busy, there was only 1 serving, asked for tea with the meal and was told sorry no tea, so I said ok coffee then please took them nearly 10 minutes to say sorry coffee machine not working properly after I asked it was ok when I ordered, so was offered cold drinks instead, food was ok and hot enough but the service on ordering and waiting to order and collect was not good - won't be going to Trostre KFC again

Pagué por una bolsa de transportista y no conseguir uno y la persona que tomó mi orden en el camino hablaba tan rápido que no podía entender una palabra dijo. Suerte había un póster de cerca con las opciones para que yo pudiera trabajar para mí lo que estaba tratando de decir. Terminó con cuatro tazas de salsa, lo que no he pedido, en lugar de los que yo hice. Puaj. Nunca volveré a ir allí de nuevo, una experiencia verdaderamente horrible, arruinó mi noche de sábado.

Service was a little slow but food was good. There was several other people there who seemed satisfied.

No es un gran fan de KFC, pero la comida es servida con bastante rapidez y era bueno. El servicio era rápido y área de comedor limpio.

Este lugar es sucio, no inodoros han sido limpiado en meses. Los inodoros estaban manchados de orina que es la cerámica y heces manchadas por todo escobilla, pisos pegajoso hace que te preguntes cómo limpio, el personal es y cómo la preparación de la comida es higiénico. También no hay bolsitas de ketchup para clientes personal una carga tan grande como ketchup libres no hay en stock. Los consumidores no fallo pero culpa kfc, sugiero salud ambiental compruebe el estado de los inodoros aquí y que pronto ellos sirven comida no paran.

Spotlessly clean everytime I come here. Service is always quite fast, friendly staff. And an all round great place to eat!

Called whilst shopping, wish I hadn't! They took our order quickly but that's where the effiency stopped. This was supposed to be fast food, I soon realised that there was at least 5 people waiting to get their order and it became evident there was none coming. We were all stood around with vague expressions watchingbtumble weed, still nothing coming. I could see a tray had been shoved out with food on and it was sat there for at least 15 minutes and so had two hot drinks, again just sat there. I did wonder who's they were until the female passed them to me after saying they were waiting for two pieces of chicken. The chicken was hot, but the rest was cold including the hot drinks.Look give me the hot stuff and I can get on with it whilst you finish the order and I will even come and collect it from you if your busy, don't leave it all until it goes cold.It seemed unnecessary chaos with no management.I won't go back there.

Whats happened? Used to like KFC but this place has gone to the dogs. had to wait far too long for my order. The staff seemed to be totally disorganised. More worryingly the chicken was under cooked and greasy. Come on KFC captains get a grip on your staff training.

Understaffed, only one person on the cashiers desk, long wait. staff not interested in your custom, dirty, the person who served me was talking to other workers, not taking notice of what I was asking for. Another member of staff who I asked for something to clean my table walked off while I was talking to him, very ignorant. This is my second visit to this KFC, the first time was worse.

Popped in on our way back from Tenby. Service was fine, food came back as expected although they don't supply knifes to cut chicken in the salad or rice bowls. No vinegar for chips or pepper available.

The last time I visited this KFC I sat in a queue at the drive through for about 35 minutes (they'd ran out of cooked chicken). I was told by other's in the queue that this wasn't unusual. By the time I got to place my order, I received no 'thanks for waiting' or apology. When I drove to the hatch to collect my order I was asked to pull over and wait for another 10 minutes. I asked why it was taking so long, ' were they short staffed?'. I received a dirty look, told no and that chicken takes a while to cook. By the time I finally collected my order it was about 45 minutes later. I wrote a letter of compliant to KFC and never received a reply. Months later I visited with my daughter and nothing's changed. We were the only ones at the drive through and still had to park up and wait for our order, only to find that when we got home part of the order was missing, but they had taken the money for it. My advice is to go to McDonalds up the road if you want fast food, they're really efficient and you get service with a smile.

Went for a snack to KFC it was quiet & only ordered a few things. Food came straight but took about 5 minutes to have 1 cappuccino, they didn't want to give my money back & told me to sit down & eventually brought it over mumbling about the coffee machine not working. When we've been before the coffee machine hasn't been working, think it's about time they invested in a new 1. The tables were dirty even though staff were standing talking !!!

As a family we love our kfc and regularly visit the fast food chain. Every kfc has been tremendous apart from this llanelli store which is unfortunate as this is where we live. We constantly keep having cold food, chicken that you can't even bite through, wrong orders given missing complete meals out so when getting home having to go back up to there to resolve the issue with no compensation whatsoever they said they cannot do refunds at all but after several times of messing up orders and blocking the drive through with my jeep they miraculously could give refunds straight away ha but the last straw was after we all got really sick (I won't go into detail but food poisoning is what the doctors said) we are completely washing our hands with kfc as when ever there is a problem we go on there website type in receipt and they will give us a free meal but what's the point if it's crap and almost kills you as they can't be bothered to train or hire competent staff to run and cook there food. Save yourself money time and wellbeing and stay well away from this joke of a kitchen

Ordered, although hard to understand cashier, Order ready thats when the problem started. He gave me my order, I asked where the drinks were he had forgot, I then had to ask for cups and plates, no plates left I would have to use paper bags as plates I was told. I asked if they had serviettes was told around the corner, no they was not that was why I was asking for them. I then sat down and realised my side orders was missing and they had given me the wrong size bags of fries no apologies just it was not me who served you and that person was told it did not matter who served just get it right. On leaving the place I looked around what a dirty place food all over the floor and no one making any effort to clean up.

The food was nice enough. Small portions though. I thought the restaurant was quite grotty and had a cheap cafe feel to it.

We went to this KFC via the drive through for convenience however the service was slow. Ordered through the speaker which is broken and can hardly hear the staff member asking what sides or conformation of your order. The food was cold (fries in particular) and the chicken was crispy but very greasy. Inside the joints of chicken, the (i presume batter or breading) was wet and under cooked, although the chicken was white inside. The beans that we ordered as a side were dried and like bullets and the pepsi was like water. While waiting you could see into the restaurant and it was dirty, food all over, staff standing around while dirty tables were waiting to be cleaned... I made a complaint to head office about it and they said that it was swings and round about and wasn't prepared to do anything about it, sorry KFC but it will be the last time i use you :(

I bought a bucket meal 14 pieces yesterday and a big Daddy meal it came with a drink and free sauces,it fed my family all6 of us plenty to go around all for £22.00...and saved me cooking...

Very good, staff are abit slow but i think its because they were new but overall very good. We go there all the time now and we love it.

Husband went to get us a take away as a family of 7. He returned home not very happy saying that the only pop they had was diet pepsi, no popcorn chicken but wouldn't replace with a different type of chicken product, only beans or chips were offered as an alternative.There were no lids for the drinks so he was expected to drive home in our car with icecream lids on the pop cups!!! We used to love KFC, and used to have it regularly.We shall take our £50 takeaway night elsewhere in future....such a shame

It was filthy in there it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while! The staff weren't great and they got my order wrong twice!

Food is always delicious here and cooked fresh. The restaurant is always clean and doesn't take too long be served. The boneless banquet is amazing and the price of the food is good value. Staff here are much more effective and professional than McDonalds just up be road.

We were on a weeks holiday in Llanelli and used this restaurant on a number of occasions. It is always busy, due to its location, but the food remains consistently good. Ideal for a cheap meal that is hot, tasty, and delicious.

Food over cooked and extremely greasy, staff rushing didn't give me time to see the menu which was high up on the wall, had to pay more for any sauces you wanted, expensive greasy food.

I love the taste of KFC & I eat a lot of chicken, I wish they would put less salt in it though & do something to absorb the grease off the chicken after its fried. Its a bit hit or miss if you get a greasy one or not.

Its ok, treat for me about 3 times a year. I've had better KFC's but had a lot worse. Its better I think since its been refurbed

Every time we go most of the tables and floors are filthy. Last time there was ketchup trodden over the floor which is health and safety hazard. Cleaner walking around throughout our stay but no cleaning done. Always the same which is a shame.

Deserves NO stars! I have been going here occasionally for YEARS, its disgraceful that everyone who works there thinks its acceptable for the place to be so horrendously disgusting. This is not just food on floor, but ingrained dirt, the place looks like its had a refurb, but the toilets and everywhere is horrific! WHY?? I go there as my family like it. Love the KFC IN LLANELLI. Always guaranteed FAST food and FAST service. Staff are really nice there and always give me sauce sachets when I ask. Always hot fresh chips and chicken. I am a fan. Definately my favourite FAST FOOD in Llanelli.

I politely asked for drumsticks and was told that I couldn't have all drumsticks because it was company policy, I accepted that but the server got agressive and said "you are not having drumsticks, ok" she completed the order and almost threw my order at me. i have been here a few times , first visit the table i sat at wasnt clean there were chips on the floor and other bits of food, when i pointed it out i was looked at as if to say shut the hell up or go elsewhere (it was cleaned eventually). next time i visited the sandwich i ordered had that much sauce on it that it would not stay together , this was to try and cover up the burnt chicken inside it. I reported this to kfc customer services who said it would be looked at . 2 weeks later i get a letter from them saying sorry you were not happy it has been noted. now the third and last chance I will ever give them - I pull up at the drive through and sit there like a lemon for over 5 minutes in this time 2 employees walk past my car and say nothing at all to me. I got fed up and decided to drive round to see if the drive through order system is broken to discover 6 members all serving one women who thinks its really funny that her window is broken and she has to open the door to talk to them. still no one speaks to me waiting patiently and by now 3 members of staff are outside. after sitting there for a further 10 minutes every member of staff finally manage to complete her order and she drives away. I was that appalled by the lack of management and organisation that i just drove straight through and off to mcdonalds who had me through there drive through including ordering in less than 3 minutes. this KFC is run and obviously owned by complete idiots who have no idea about management customer service and staff training stay well clear. I love KFC but this one is useless and should be avoided.

Lovely Chips And Pop Corn Chicken I Love It But The Watered Down Drinks And Staff Are Disappointing.....

This is the worst kfc i have ever eaten in! It was filthy, dirty tables, sticky floors, the fire exit door was left open and it was freezing in there. There was a large group of youths gathered inside by the front door using bad language and throwing food around. The staff ignored them! The food was ok

Sticky floor, uncleared table, spotty teenagers serving with little customer care skills! Ok if your having a drive through otherwise forget it.

If I have to eat on the run,I tend to visit KFC in Trostre Park,I feel it's in need of makeover,especially since Mc D close by have recently had lovely makeover,the food is OK,always needs good tidyup,They need to get their act together,supervision is poor,youngsters need guidance,they seem to go through lots of staff.

Forget it, smell of burning Oil , sticky floors, greasy food and kids trying to be sarcastic instead of customer satisfaction.

Ordered the 'fully loaded' box meal as it sounded like quite a sizeable meal (I was so hungry and in need of hangover food). Although the meal was more than enough to satisfy, the quality wasn't fantastic. Having turned up just as soon as kfc opened, it seemed as though the food had been cooked and left standing for a few hours - the 1 piece was very dry and had hardly any chicken on the bone; the lettuce in my burger was pitiful and lifeless, and way too much mayo slapped on the chicken fillet! although in fairness the chicken fillet did taste good. However, the saving grace was the chips and corn on the cob included in the meal...I personally prefer KFC chips to McD's as I think they have more flavour.Service was quick (expected as I was one of the first customers ha), but I didn't feel very welcomed by the staff working there...they were quite abrupt and monotone. Overall I'm not sure I'll be spending over £5 on the same meal in future, I don't believe it was worth it. Will stick with the variety meal next time (always a winner!) or try the BBQ rancher if a craving for solely KFC food ever strikes again.

Ok to grab a snack but left feeling hungry, portion size small and chicken very bony with not much meat.
