The best restaurants serving American food in North Wales

Decided to come on a Thursday night when they have a special offer on of a Burger and a drink for £10. We were surprised when it came with chips too, which were hand cut and reminded me of home cooked chips from my childhood! The burger was amazing, juicy and full of flavour. Shawn (chef) made us feel welcome and made an effort to come and talk to us and make sure everything was okay. We would recommend a visit!

Had loads of different food from here over the week we were there and loved all of it. The two lady owners are lovely and friendly and funny. Good quality food would highly recommend.

This must be the best priced Michelin Star level food you can get, and it's that standard every day.

This place has the MOST INCREDIBLE BURGERS EVER! we decided to try Mete's as a birthday take away and boy did it live up to expectations! Ordered online and was able to pick it up in no time at all. I put on the order notes that we were celebrating a birthday and as the wife went in to pick up the food there was nothing but smiley faces as they gave her the food. Little did we know they had picked up the note on the order and gave us what can only be described as THE most outrageous piece of red velvet heaven as a birthday gift.

Stopped of hear with the family on our way back from holiday. Got to say the food was top notch all freshly cooked. I had the all day breakfast absolutely lovely would highly recommend.

Been here a few times now and its spot on everytime! Chicken bites are gorgeous. Be sure to pre order as their time slots do sell out on a weekend

We arrived for dinner on a Saturday evening, place wasn’t too busy but it still felt like the small group in the corner were quite loud but I think it’s down to the layout of the restaurant being one giant room. Service and quality of the food was very good, wouldn’t say it was 5 star service or 5 star food, so would of been 4 stars but I personally found it ridiculous that they didn’t have any alcohol free beer, so you lost a star for that.

The best burger I've ever had. 11/10 Great customer service, spot on location, and even better food. Honestly can rate the quality of the food enough. Cowboy burger is the one 👌👌👌

Wow what a fabulous evening meal to celebrate my husband's 60 th birthday. The food was superb and service from all staff was immaculate..A very special thankyou to the lovely owners who helped me throughout the booking and to Sam for helping with the cake topping and balloons. A truly magical evening , fabulous food and drinks..

Food was half decent… service however was shocking. When you have to go down stairs to ask for the sauces you have ordered almost 10 minutes previously and get sorry I forgot you know people are not doing their job correctly. Add to that ordering drinks that never came. Then ask for the bill to find 3 deserts when we didn’t even have any. Worst still to come, after two attempts of getting the bill the waitress then decides to try and collect all of our plates which I thought was either brave or stupid. Seems the latter was the correct judgement as she dropped a full pot of BBQ sauce all over me. She did apologise and quote” don’t worry I spill things on me all the time, it will wash out” put it this way I hope it does because the clothing ruined came more than our entire bill. Steak was tasty though if it’s any consolation.

Well last night was Mother’s Day and we book Hickory Wrexham. Previous times we’ve been we had a good time, however last night our table was in what they call the barn, but I could only describe as what it feels like at the overflow car park of the restaurant. The room is made up of mismatch tables and chairs I use chairs in the loose sense. The table they expected 11 adults on is basically a glorified picnic bench with glorified picnic benches with padded seats when I explained that these seats are suitable due to having people with physical issues they said they do their best to move us. However speaking to the manager she told me that there was not much they could do as it was a busy evening. I explained to her that I have booked three weeks in advance on purpose and if I had known that there was an issue with big parties being booked in the main restaurant. I would have not booked it. There is nothing anywhere on the website that says this. Eventually, we have moved to a bigger table however the evening had already been ruined for myself and most of my guests. We have already been waiting 20min for the table. Service slow at best and my food was luck warm. All in all a bad night really would think twice before book here again.

Recientemente me casé y tuve la celebración para mi HOG bricolaje noche. Wow es todo lo que puedo decir, la carne era sensacional, y después de 2 semanas de estar casado el hog es todavía el hablar de la boda. La carne se derretía en la boca y estaba lleno de sabor. El servicio de atención al cliente (John) no podía hacer lo suficiente para nosotros. Son un buffet muy bien de precio que sin duda no defraudará, por lo tanto, recomendaría a cualquiera.

visited haven 6-10 may, friendly staff, clean place, sat outside while they were putting the tracking down for the new place, all of us ordered the kids meals as just wanted a snack, 5 all in all with bottomless drinks, the guy who served us was pleasant, and when we were taking our rubbish to the bin a chap helped us, he was very friendly.

Gorgeous busy little establishment. We've been coming for years. Good selection. Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly team.
